Consistently friendly, professional, and efficient. Nice people who really know what they’re doing. Serious bonus points that they all still mask in order to protect their patients.

Masjid, Maria and Lee are an amazing team who are very pleasant, caring and responsible. We have been using Raley's pharmacy in Pleasanton for well over 10 years and have never had a bad experience even as the team periodically changed. Masjid is phenomenal with his unbelievable memory of our meds off the top of his head and his watching over drug interaction concerns. The team is a true asset to Raleys. I agree the shortened hours is a challenge and not a customer friendly move. Surely, there can be a better and more friendly solution that still recognizes the need for cost control.

Best pharmacy staff around! Majid and his team including Lee & Maria are fabulous! They really care about each of their customers and have gone the extra mile for myself and my family over & over again.I agree with the former reviewer that after reducing the pharmacy's hours and closing at 6:30 pm in the evening it makes it difficult for working people to pick up their meds. Up until a couple years ago they were open early in the mornings, on Sundays and until 8-8:30 pm. If Raley's management would once more reevaluate this store, they'd find a high volume pharmacy with very loyal customers who could benefit significantly if Raleys were to go back to less restricted hours. They need to give customers better access with more available hours to pick up medications before or after work. I'm a long time Raleys pharmacy customer (20+ Yrs) and I love this staff, but the management needs to take this seriously because I'm sure you have lost many customers because of these restrictive hours. And the customers you have would like the opportunity to go back to picking up our meds when it's more convenient for us.Thanks for listening.Michele Luckenbihl

This is a highly popular grocery story near downtown Pleasanton. It has good variety of regular grocery items plus some seasonal and sports items which are not available in other big chain grocery stores. The prices are a little bit on the higher side which could be a deterrent when shopping for regular grocery items.

This is my 92 year old mom's pharmacy and I love them. I am a caregiver for a friend who uses Walgreens, there is little to no customer service at her 24 hour Walgreens (San Leandro). Walgreens sends automated messages "there's a problem with processing your med", which med, why? So frustrating. I can literally be on hold for 30 to 45 minutes. Raley's pharmacy, on the other hand, is such a personal experience, they understand my mom's medication history, I always get time & attention from the pharmacist about any questions. They actually pick up the phone when I call & immediately handle my requests. I've even contacted them about prescription questions for myself even though I use a different pharmacy by my home. They gladly share their expertise. This is how pharmacy customer care should be.

So the people at this pharmacy are great: they are pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. Until recently, I had no complaints at all about my experience there over the last 3 years since I moved to Pleasanton. But the recent reduction (contraction really) in Pharmacy hours, both in the morning and the evening make it impossible for me to pick up my prescriptions either before or after work. This decision, whoever actually made it, shows a complete lack of focus on the customer.

I was at the bakery picking up a cake for 12:00 pm and I had to wait for 30 minutes for someone to show up and I decided to just leave and go to Safeway. I will never come bake to the bakery again.

It's a nice store if you are okay looking for items without help and don't mind using self check out. Personally, I'm a shopper who can easily use a self checkout and don't mind wandering the isles to find what I need. I can shop here without ever seeing or talking to an employee which is my experience almost every time minus an occasional hello from an employee restocking. Only downside is that I can rarely put my bags on the self checkout scale to be able to scan and pack since there is rarely an employee there to approve the weight of the bags.

Raley's has been my go to store since the closing of New Leaf. I have appreciated the expansion of healthy & quality foods at the store. Today the cashier didn't know store policy and wasted 1.5 hours of my time. When I brought my full cart to the checkout I asked the cashier about writing a check before he began to ring up my groceries. I clearly explained that I needed to write a check because my credit card was compromised & in the process of being replaced. He said he just needed a CDL for identification. Turns out store policy is you can't write a check for over $50 if you haven't written 5 checks in a year. I haven't written a check there in years and I had about $300 in groceries. He rang up my full cart and then turned down my check! He wasn't able to communicate clearly what was actually wrong. I asked to speak to a supervisor & all the store clerks were acting very immaturely while I tried to understand the problem. I definitely didn't want to waste 1.5 hours of my time, I wanted to leave with the groceries so I could prep for two parties in the morning. When I finally understand Raley's has new policies that punish good people for the actions of criminals I gave up. I appreciate the supervisor's maturity & help getting my personal bags back from the clerk who ran away with the cart. I highly advise hiring more mature clerks & training them on store policies.

Whenever I have a new prescription the pharmacist stops what he's doing to come down and go over with me how the drug should be taken, common side effects etc. If there is a way to save money on the Rx they'll tell me. At Wallgreens the only advice I got was from their tech, who said, "That's $59.95." Raley's price is often half that of CVS or Wallgreens

Been in Pleasanton 10 years. Never disappointing. Love the deli, potato salads, Chinese food! Got to a point with the fried chicken where my wife nicknamed me "8 Piece Freddy"...LOL

This place is amazing! It's very close to where I work and therefore super convenient when it comes to buying some lunch. They have a really great variety of pasta salads or just meals over all. They even come in a container that is microwavable. They also have sushi and sandwhiches premade or you can go to thei sandwhich section and order a fresh one there. Takes a little while to make so if you are more on the go just grab their premade ones. And just like any other supermarket they have their different sections like deli, bakery, pharmacy, etc. They even have a Rewards program that you can sign up for and get coupons sent to you. I like that they have self check-outs. Makes it easy when im on limited time. There is a Pete's coffee inside as well if you need a quick cup of joe. Overall a great place to go buy some lunch and go grocery shopping.

Worst service ever in the history of my life! I wish I could give ZERO stars. The women at the deli are very rude. My husband and I walked in to have a tritip sandwich today. My husband grabbed a tritip container and asked the woman there to make our sandwiches from the tritip in the container (mind you we were going to purchase the whole container). The woman became upset and said next time "she couldn't do that" because they already have tritip that is sliced there for sanwiches. Then when we selected the bread she slammed the container where the bread is stored very hard as if she was annoyed. As she was slicing the bread she was so irate she cut her finger and had to call another lady out to finish our sandwich. Another gentlemen walked in to order a sandwich and wanted tritip too. They didn't even have sliced tritip to make his sandwich so the other lady making his sandwich grabbed some of the tritip from our container to make his sandwich which makes no sense at all because they said they couldn't do that in the first place! Then the lady who helped us began helping someone else so we sat down and ate our food and decided we would pay when we were done eating since we only get a 30 minute lunch. When we were ready to pay the lady who cut her finger was at the counter and told my husband very rudely we needed to pay before eating our food. But how could we do that if the lady started helping someone else? What did she think we were going to leave without paying? How ridiculous. If she thinks she's too old to be working at a store making sandwiches maybe she should retire or stay home! The sandwich we ate was very good but the service is mediocre!

Love this Raleys. It's a little pricier than Safeway and Luckys but when they have a sale, they have a great sale. Just got baby back ribs uncooked, whole slab for $6!!! Insane. Raleys always has a great deli and bakery as well as their meat selection. Lots of wines and just really well stocked. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Just a great store that seems to have everything.
