I paid for a $2,400.00 U Umbrella on 4-8-24 I asked and made sure they could deliver it before 4-13-24. Julie the store manger check and said they can deliver it on 4-9-24 Great. She said Someone would be calling to me from the delivery department they called me on 4-8-24 AT 11:52 AM Set that they would be there between 7:30 and 8 AM on 4-9-24 I get a phone call at 9:02 asking if I am going to be home. I took off work and missed 3 hours. When I called Julie the store manager did not even get an apology. Would never buy from them again.

I purchased several items from Patio World in Pleasanton over 13 years ago and all the items are holding up strong. People mentioned their products are pricey but you get what you pay for - high quality and everlasting. I honestly trust the quality of their products and recently went back to the Pleasanton store and purchased a dining table set. The sales rep., Donald Bonasia customer service was the best. I sent him a photo of my deck and he sent me pictures back with options (I’m 30 minutes away). My to go place for patio/deck furniture. Zero sales tax promotion is a plus!

I wish I had the option of selecting zero stars or negative stars. My fiancé and I just got our first home and we are excited about furnishing the outdoor space with stylish and comfortable long lasting pieces. We had gone to a couple of outdoor stores as we continued to search for pieces that "caught our eye."Patio world was our third stop. We were greeted by an older Caucasian gentleman. We were honest about not knowing much about outdoor spaces/ furniture and asked for his expert opinion. He told us that he felt we were "playing a game" and kept asking us price gauging questions. He then directed us other local patio furniture stores. As my fiancé and I walked out the door, we were shocked! Did we just experience so called "ageist?" Did we look we couldn't afford nice furniture? Was it his vans? Or was it my bohemian flared pants? We felt insulted. We will def take our business elsewhere and will not recommend this store to others.

The furniture here is ridiculously overpriced. To top that, when we walked in on Sunday afternoon we were not even acknowledged in the store. There was only one sales person and they were busy talking to someone. Besides, we found the exact same items online for a fraction of the price later so the trip was totally not worth it.

Placed order for over $11K in replacement furniture pads with Kenny Freeberg at the Pleasanton Patioworld, March 2020. Received the complete order in August 2020. Two pieces were incorrect and do not fit the frames for which they were ordered. We contacted Kenny that day to let him know and he said he would get the correct ones ordered. With a series of reasons, excuses we still do not have the replacement pads and it has been 2 years since the initial order. We have made many attempts to connect only for him to say he is following up or there is a delay due to COVID. Guessing that they never reordered the replacement pieces and hope we will just go away. It is too much money and needs to be corrected. I have asked for copies of the reorder forms, and he will not provide them. We have given him and Patioworld so many chances to make it right only to get excuses. We want our money back from these pieces which is Approx.. $1500K. We never asked for a discount from the beginning and paid full price to not receive what we ordered. He made the mistake and after 2+ years we still have two chairs we can't use as we don't have pads that fit. I am updating my review to respond to the managing director's comments. First, we are so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. May her memory be a blessing. 2nd, we ordered 2 chairs and 2 ottomans to match the sectional. The distribution manager told us the truth. The chairs and ottoman were sent to another customer. Not us. We ordered 4 chairs as we were going to use the ottomans as chairs when we had 4 guests + ourselves. We wanted 4 available seats. The managing directior, communicating from afar and through the distribution manager wanted us to pay the difference...even though the mistake was her company's...not mine. We should not have to pay more. I am sorry. The owner should have done right by the customer. Not ask the customer to pay MORE for a mistake the company made. WE did cancel the entire order, we did get our refund and we found better furniture, more seating and paid far less. In the end, we win and in the end, more and more people who review YELP will see that this owner/managing director is not leading well....either for her employees or her customers. I repeat....take your business elsewhere. There are better options for greater value.

WOW! After reading some of the reviews related to patio world Pleasanton I realized it wasn't anything personal they are just plain bad. I too have visited the showroom a few times to purchase furniture and for some strange reason the salesperson would not sell me any furniture. It's so bizarre I would get one excuse or another for why a particular piece is not available. My initial visit was fully staffed with salespeople that were in no hurry to assist which was ok because sometimes I look to browse before I request assistance. To be fair the salesperson is always nice and professional but will not sell furniture for one reason or another. Go figure.

DO NOT GO TO ANY OR ALL PATIO WORLD STORES. Their owner is a coward and poor business person. Would not call an unhappy customer. Why am I unhappy. We ordered nearly $10K worth of furniture in March and asked to have it held until August. They "lost" or "mis-delivered" pieces of our order. We ordered a sectional and 4 seats. If I could put zero stars I would have. The staff at this store has no sense of customer service. I placed an order for a chair back in January and i never got it. I called several times and told them about a party that I was hosting last Saturday and I was assured that it would arrive in time. Saturday came and no chair. I asked for a refund and even that they have not delivered on four days later. Utterly disappointed.
