I've been a member here from 3 months now. I hadn't been to any kind of gym or class since the before times. I was a little intimidated to start but was met with very welcoming staff. It's been so motivating and the coaches are really helpful to a newbie like me. Not cheap but 100% worth it!

Orange Theory Fitness - Pleasanton is not just the best part of my day but it has supported me so much physically and mentally! From the moment I stepped into their studio, I knew I was in for something special. The energetic and motivating coaches, coupled with the dynamic and challenging workouts, have made every class engaging and fun! The variety of workouts keeps me engaged and ensures that I never get bored. Not to mention, the supportive community of fellow members adds an extra layer of motivation. Couldn’t be where I am at on my health journey without the OTF Family at Orange Theory Fitness in Pleasanton!

Coaches are extremely motivating, friendly environment, and good upbeat playlists (for the most part). I think I’ve finally found something I can be consistent with

Client to instructor ratio here is very high leading coaches unable to give proper modifications to avoid injuries. Coaches are often too distracted to call attention to poor form.Classes are boring and often have repetitive content within the same week. Space is very tight and I've seen people walk out on multiple occasions as a result. Scheduling options are terrible for strength specific workouts. The front desk staff and music are both good which is why I give 1 star. Overall, there are much better options for workouts in Pleasanton.(Reform fitness, Tribe fitness, D1 and row house...just to name a few)

If you're a male and thinking about joining OTF, don't do it. I'm there to workout and enjoy it but they will ban you from the studio for talking and being friendly without warning. Avoid this studio.

Finding a workout you love is really priceless. I highly recommend giving Orange Theory Pleasanton a try. The staff are the best, they are friendly and energetic and welcoming. I hadn't done a workout class since before Covid so I was feeling super uncomfortable, but they treated me so kindly. The coaches are really motivating, they're always reminding you to push yourself and remember your goals. The classes are 1 hour of loud energizing music, you are free to go at your own pace and the coach is there every step of the way, to tell you what to do next, I love it. It's a tough workout, but I look forward to going again every single time.

Love this studio and this workout! Orangetheory is the only workout I've consistently stuck to and is always engaging and challenging - it can be as hard or as "easy" as I'd like it to be that day. The coaches at this location are on top of their game and so friendly, you never feel lost in the crowd. The studio is clean and well laid out, has newer rowers, lots of screens and does fun members events all the time. Special shout-out to coaches Maria and Sarah (but you really can't go wrong here!) as well as the front desk crew. They're super easy to get in contact with over text which is a major plus for a busy mom. If you're on the fence I highly recommend giving it a shot! It's a quick workout with fun music, great company and coaches that'll feel more like friends in no time!

I have been a member of Orange Theory since 2017 San Leandro being my first home studio. After relocating to Pleasanton OTF Pleasanton now became my new home studio. I love the size of the studio. The staff is always welcoming, facilities are always clean and I love that the Pleasanton studios a little bit bigger for floor exercises. Always positive vibes and always helpful stuff.

Update: I'm still going 9 months later! I wanted to add that all the coaches are helpful, motivating, and friendly. If I had to choose my favorites, it would be Maria and Jamie. But honestly, all of the coaches are amazing!OrangeTheory is perfect for you if you've always struggled finding motivation to workout in a normal gym (like me). What I like the most is that it feels like you have a personal trainer but in the form of a class. I've been going 4 days a week for 2 weeks now and I'm already addicted.

I LOVE my Pleasanton OT coaches & staff (Kimberly, Maria, Sarah, and more), and look forward to getting my workout in every time! But it wasn’t always like this. My first few classes were pretty rough and I wasn’t sure I could commit to the format or that I’d ever ENJOY it. But I stuck with it and am so glad I did. It’s been almost a year and I just upped my commitment from 2 days/week to 4 days/week. I haven’t stuck with any structured exercise program for this long since my 20’s-30’s (I’m 50+).I love the ease of booking a class, showing up and letting someone else tell me what to do for the next hour. Not an initial fan of the treadmill or rower (elliptical has been my equipment of choice), I’ve learned to love the format of the various stations. I’ve gotten noticeably stronger/leaner in the past year, feel fewer lower back pains, and have more energy and overall stamina.I look forward to seeing the staff as I walk into the studio each time and love that I have different coaches to guide me. I also enjoy seeing many of the same faces at each workout. I like being part of a regular community all working to make themselves stronger and healthier. It’s like a healthy version of your favorite neighborhood bar without the hangover!

I was initially wary about Orange Theory, because of the comparison board where everyone’s name is up. But I have been working out here since August and I absolutely love it. My main aim is to work on cardio, since I also do other strength workouts on my own. And cardio is exactly what I get here. Each day is different, keeping it interesting, everyone is friendly and welcoming. The coaches are great and motivating. I like that we can choose our own pace, doing more on some days than others, depending how I feel. I always look forward to my workouts!

I absolutely LOVE OTF! All I have to do is show up and work my butt off. No planning, no thought just incredible workouts that always challenge me. I live the ❤️rate monitor so I can see the data proving I've pushed myself as hard as I can without overdoing it. The coaches are awesome!

To say the staff and coaches are amazing at OTF Pleasanton would be an understatement. It is by far the best gym/workout program I’ve been a part of. I would not be so far along in my weight loss journey if it wasn’t for the efforts of Coach: Sarah, Maria, Gabriel, Sam, Jaime. And couldn’t be a seamless and amazing experience without Kim, Denise, Melissa and Inna! Thank you for all you do

OTF is a life saver! My life has been exceptionally stressful for several years and I'm so thankful I decided to try a workout at OTF. It's proven to be a fun and efficient way to work self care back into my hectic schedule. The workouts are challenging, and yet doable. I feel great after each class. My favorite aspect of OTF is knowing that I just need to show up ready to sweat. Workouts are already planned out (yay, one less thing for me to do), the variety day to day prevents boredom, and knowledgeable and supportive coaches and staff are always available to answer questions and check my form. I've also benefited from having OTF available in other cities/states- being out of town is not an excuse to miss out on "me time"! Each studio I've visited has a very warm, friendly community feel. I am also happy that Pleasanton is my home studio; the facility is well-maintained, more spacious and updated compared to other studios I've visited.

Orange theory is my favorite form of class workout! I’ve tried Soulcycle and Equinox classes in the past, but the OT style workout is a great fit for someone looking for a mix of cardio and strength training with HIIT. The music is bumping and the 60 minutes fly by, you walk out knowing you worked hard and got a solid workout in every time because the coaches are awesome. I’ve taken classes with Head Coach Sarah, Taylor, Maria, Gabriele, Jaimie, and more, never had a bad class. I was extremely intimidated before I started in August 2022, but quickly realized once you walk into the studio it’s you against yourself! There is a range of fitness levels and all the coaches are quick to offer options and modifications to the exercises as needed. I love the heart rate monitor system that keeps me accountable for working hard or taking it easy if I need to. The coaches are what makes the workout experience great and are super friendly to help if you have any questions.
