I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Lance. He is very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. He traveled to meet me when and where necessary, and was very upfront and open with the entire process. He made it very seamless and transparent.

Lance is not to be trusted. Ask all your questions first before going to test drive a car at his place. If anything, don’t even bother wasting your time. Everything just seems shady. We went to test drive a Model X. On the ads, says 1 owner. When we got there, we test drove, we liked the car a lot. Then, we were negotiating. Then, he said oh by the way, I need to show you the CarFax Report. Listed 1 accident (not disclosed on his ad). Listed 2 owners (1 owner was disclosed on his ad). There were scratches all over the car. While we were there, we waited for him outside of a suspecting warehouse to come from somewhere. He arrived in the Model X we were test driving and it was loaded with all sorts of things including tables. So, instead of the car being ready to show, he used it for personal use. Aside from all this, we skeptically agreed to buy the car. He asked us to go inside to sign a disclosure about the accident. Come to think of it, we never got to sign it. He asked us for $500 deposit via Zelle. He wouldn’t write a receipt because he stated everything has to be tracked and taxed. We left and the next day I reached out to my bank. He sent the contract or purchase order to the bank and myself. I questioned why he charged an extra $850 for registration/transfer fees. I inquired with my bank and they agreed that this dealer was trying to pocket more money. I asked for a lower price the day prior, he stated if we paid some cash, and the rest finance, my discount will reflect through less taxes because he stated he was only going to write down that the purchase price is less than what I’m actually paying. All of it didn’t seem or feel right. He told me that he needs to go to the bank with me to take out $15k cash cause he wants to see the seller count it. I finally put a stop to the process after learning that the free supercharging would not carry over to me. That was my last straw. Laise Popal is refusing to give me my $500 back.

This is a late posting but I bought my Tesla Model X from Laise a couple months ago.I was skeptical since I've never bought a used car from a small dealer (only bought CPO previously). He has a small office and a garage in the back with many cars (mostly Tesla).I was also nervous about purchasing it since the first time that I saw the car, he'd been using it for a couple weeks and it was filled with his belongings and it simply didn't look as clean and sleek as the pictures. However, the price was reasonable, the color combo was unique (black exterior, white interior), and it included a few mods that I'd have wanted to look into doing myself. After purchasing it, I was still nervous so I took it to the Tesla dealer for a used vehicle inspection (depending on the Tesla dealer, this is typically $250-400) and the car checked out fine except for a bit of wear and tear on the tires.Overall, very happy with my purchase and the customer service has been great as well (I was able to check on a couple items with Laise even after my purchase).I was also excited about the fact that I still have free supercharging and premium connectivity after transferring the vehicle to my name (this is NOT the case if you buy your used Tesla from Tesla directly).

Great purchase experience! We found a beautiful Tesla on the website, and bought it sight-unseen from our home in Colorado. Lance is honest, friendly, and it was a pleasure doing business with him! This was our best car-buying experience ever!

I bought 2014 Porsche GT3 from Lance. I’m typical picky Porsche customer that simply want the best condition Porsche. Honestly dealing with Lance illustrated to me what customer service and integrity is all about. The car had 10 year manufacturer warranty on the engine and I had the car checked out my mechanics. It checked out perfect and the car drives like dream on the track. Thank you Lance for everything!

I purchased a 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S at Luxury Motors of Bay Area with Lance. Before I bought the car, I inspected the car inside out, went for a test drive, and asked Lance if the car had any issues - Lance said that the car was in perfect condition, and he had driven the car for the last 300 miles. During the test drive, Lance didn’t let me go on the highway because it’s an exotic car - it did not make sense to me but after a short drive around the block everything seemed good. On Monday when I decided to purchase the car, and when I was driving on the highway, a red warning appeared “Spoiler Loss Adjust Speed “ , so I right away took a picture and sent it to Lance and called him. He said “don’t worry the car is CPO Porsche, just go to Porsche and they will fix it." I wanted to drive back to his shop but he told me he wasn’t there anymore -- I trusted him, because there are so many good reviews for his shop. I went to Porsche, and they gave me a report for the car, specifically: The car had an accident probably with the speed bumps, the entire front spoiler is damaged and some other parts - total cost is $7000 for the repair. They showed me the damage under the car, and you can tell that the car was quickly fixed with the radiators holding with wire ties. After many attempts to reach Lance from “Luxury Motors of Bay Area” to reach an agreement either to fix the car or to return it, they never replied to my texts, emails or calls. I had to call from my wife’s cellphone for Lance to pick up the call - they are not willing to reach an agreement and claim that I should have done a PPI before buying it. Lance and Luxury Motors of Bay Area are dishonest and lied to me, leaving me with a big bill of $7000 and not taking any responsibility. There are many honest dealerships out there, so I'd avoid buying a car from this one if possible. If you do decide to buy one, do not trust them and get PPI before you buy it. I'm also building a case to submit to the DMV inspector and trying to get any legal way to report this kind of fraud -- if anyone else has had the same issue in the past, please reach out to me.

This dealer doesn't even have a sign in the front of his unit. I came here to maybe find a vehicle and couldn't even find it. Very unprofessional and wasted my time. Come to find out it is a little hole in the wall door that looks vacant or empty. Other dealers in the same area have signs and are easy to find. Are you hiding from someone?

I would recommend everyone really ask a lot of questions around Lance. Make sure you watch the Rich Rebuild's video about what to look out for, for buying a used Tesla. They are still trying to sell a 2016 Black 90D that has been in 2 accidents, had substandard repairs, has numerous cosmetic damages and structural problems, and has a poor grading from the auction site they bought the car from, for a higher price than you can get from Tesla's pre-owned at Tesla.com. Lance tried to dodge or explain away questions:- Damage to wheels: "I have a guy who can probably fix that."- Why is the damage to this side when the Carfax says it was on the other side?: "Carfax can be wrong."- Misaligned doors: "this is just a trim problem, should be easy to fix" while hammering at the trim.- Two reports of damage: "they are probably just reported later."- Inspect by Tesla?: "yes, it had the inspection" while trying to show you the inspection from the auction site.- Water inside the tail lights: "probably how they stored the car and when they took the picture, should be ok."- Substandard repairs, " that is just what they say when not repaired by Tesla."- Why is a car with accidents and substandard repairs priced more than similar spec cars from tesla.com?: "it has autopilot" (many lower priced cars include it without histories of accidents)Make sure you keep asking for all documentation. Then ask them a lot more questions about the car. Then check tesla.com for a better price and buy from Tesla or someone else.NOTE: Lance tends to add positive fake reviews after negative reviews are added. He added a 5 star review after I left mine and removed it after it was called out. He then added another fake review that praises him of a great Porsche buying experience after @Arnaud Dubois left a negative review of buying a lemon Porsche from him. Lance is dishonest and shady. Avoid using your real number as well because he will call to harass you after.

I have messaged and made numerous attempts to contact Lance about listed cars. I keep getting a feeling that he dismisses valid questions I have. It is even more of delight to see him reviewing his own company to give it a 5 star review. If that is not shady business, I do not know what is.

Many great cars. Lance is slow in replying though. Could take a lot of prodding before you get the info you need. Had to run the Carfax for some of the car myself because of the wait. They seem to all have issues.

It was a pleasure to meet Laise and get to know him. He is one of the most honest person I have every met. He sold me a great tesla model 3, in my opinion, few hundreds under the fair market price. He was completely up front with all of the plus and minus and has a great knowledge of Tesla vehicles. He wasn't pushy or like a phony only to just sell you a car. He was thorough and completely helpful in truthfully answering any questions I had. He is for sure a great recommendation for anyone who is looking for a preowned luxury car to purchase, I saw he had multiple Teslas, Ferrari, and Porche available that seemed all in great condition. One should give Luxury Motors a call or check what they have in inventory if you are in the market for a pristine preowned luxury motor vehicle.

I found a BMW X5 from Craigslist, called and made an appointment to meet Laise and test drive it. He is young, nice and not pushy. Showed me the carfax and explained its detail. The X5 condition is very good ,still under warranty and I bought it few days later after some negotiation. Love the car and service. I would recommend Laise to you for your next car.
