This place is very nice and the staff is very helpful. Dalia was very kind and helpful, many reviews i see with low ratings are usually people that dont listen, or blame the staff. If you make a 30 min appointment to take pictures with a child for example and your child doesn't cooperate and you get very few good photos thats not the staffs fault.. doeant mean you NEED to get another. Session or free photos.

They refused to let us take photos because of our service dog. I take my little dog (the size of my hand) everywhere with us but they said people are allergic to dogs. Unfortunately they told me to reshedrule my appointment for the morning or the end of the day. I told them how small our dog is and they didn't care. They especially didn't care that it was a service dog. So I went to another jc pennies portrait, in San Jose, and they were happy to take pictures of me and my family with our very small dog. They didn't care what time of day it was. They were very happy to assist. So props to the SAN JOSE JC PENNEY PORTRAIT for accepting our service dog! I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I find it perplexing why there are consistent difficulties in delivering/processing bundles accurately. Following our photo shoot in December 2023, where we incurred expenses totaling $317.96, we specifically ordered the media bundle, which included multiple prints and one canvas. Regrettably, despite the passage of months without receiving the items, it came to our attention that the order had not been processed. Upon contacting Sean/Shawn, we were assured that the items would be promptly delivered. However, several weeks later, we received only the canvas. We presumed that the multiple prints might have been sent in separate packages.
As of April 4, 2024, we have yet to receive the printed photos we ordered. Upon contacting Sean/Shawn once more, he undertook to verify with the responsible delivery company. Assurances were given that the items would be promptly dispatched. However, as of April 11, we received another canvas still without the prints. Subsequent communication with Felicia has led to her promise to escalate the matter to the manager and arrange for a callback. At present, we await further communication.
As of April 12, we have not received any callback from the company despite assurances given. Upon calling today at 2:16 PM, our attempt went directly to voicemail, prompting us to leave a message. Despite our efforts, there has been no follow-up communication from their end. This lack of responsiveness and failure to provide adequate information highlights a concerning deficiency in their quality of service.
We opted to contact Lifetouch directly, and their assistance proved to be notably helpful and significantly more professional compared to the service provided by the team operating at the JCPenney Portrait studio who failed to provide us with the necessary information and guidance.

We just had our holiday family portrait at this JC Penney branch in Stoneridge Mall Pleasanton. We had Corina as the photographer. She was nice and pleasant. We have our toddler daughter with us and Corina was very patient in taking her time on getting her to follow beautiful poses. I never felt being hurried in rush. The whole session flows so naturally. All our photos turned out to be gorgeous and I so love it! We will definitely come back to them for our future family portraits.

Easy scheduling an appointment online. They called the day before to confirm the appointment. Needed headshots asap. Easy checkin. I got there at 11 for my 11:15 appointment. My photographer Shawn was easy to work it and professional. I didn’t like all of the photos but it’s not their fault, I was having a bad hairday. haha. I have at least a couple I like. Received the digital album quickly within 24 hours. Plenty of parking. Would come back for a family photo hopefully with the same photographer. I don’t know about the other negative reviews but I had a positive experience overall. Would recommend this studio.

I haven't set foot in a JCPenney for 20+ years. In fact, I stayed away from it. I remember it being a low quality inventory. Well, the other day while shopping with my mama, she wanted to go look for 1 thing. Reluctantly, I schlepped along. Now, this review is for the Men's department only, I didn't browse the entire store. But blow me down. They have name brands like Levi's, Polo, Puma, and Adidas, but I fell in love with a brand called Mutual Weave. They have most everything a Macy's would have except high-end suits. I fell in love with a brand called Mutual Weave and ended up buying 2 jeans, and a henley, and cool flannel --- very pleased indeed. They had sales, which are great. But generally, I would say it's not cheap...it's fair priced. So, I won't be shy from now on...I've been re-introduced!

Worst customer service I never write a review but Curtis "the manager" at customer service is so rude I believe I had an interaction with him before were he wasn't too friendly but this last time was the worst and it's my last time coming here even if it's more convenient since it's closer to home I rather do online shopping or stop shopping with JCPenney at al

My apologies for the delay in reviewing my experience with the ladies in the Fine Jewelry department. First and foremost, I want to say thank you to Kerri (my apologies if I misspelled your name) - the store manager, for making my dream a reality! My husband and I recently celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and he wanted to bless me with a new ring and was able to do so! Sarbani! Thank you so much for your excellent customer service and your amazing attitude! You made my day when I saw how happy you were for us to pick up our ring! Aylin and Shannon, we appreciate you two assisting with the transaction and ensuring that everything went smoothly. All in all, we love the ring and appreciate all of you!

I bought a gift for my wife. I thought I would save some money by using a new JC Penny credit card. This did not happen because I was charged a $41 late fee for not paying the first payment on time. When I found my way to the payment website after several unsuccessful attempts. I was able to make a payment including late fee. I don't remember receiving any statements from JC Penny until after the payment date had come and gone.

The experience with the photographer was good but they didn't have the traditional blue background and the entire process took over 2 hours. They obviously over booked, it was very obnoxious.
