Horizon Early Education Center has been a pivotal part of my family for the last two years. Horizons has provided my daughter a safe space to grow and develop since she was six weeks old. This is a natural place to start your child in the Pleasanton Unified School District as after Horizon, they can then easily transition to Steam Preschool and eventually Kids Club. Every day I pick up my now two year old daughter, she has something new to share with me.

When my daughter was born she weighed 3 lbs.For the first month we spent every night hoping she would survive until morning. When she finally got out of the hospital, she needed special care 24*7. When we got to the point that all she needed was daily physical therapy we considered it a win. Through it all, we could never find a care provider we could trust to handle her special needs... until we found Horizon.At Horizon they have staff with more than 20 years of experience in early childhood development. They carefully assess every child in their care and provide a nurturing environment that caters to the child's specific needs.My daughter thrived at Horizon because of the expertise the staff provides. She learned and grew and was loved by everyone there.I have three children who have all had different childcare experiences in Pleasanton, and Horizon is universally the best. It's not just a daycare. It's a loving home away from home and a local institution. We owe them everything for how they supported our daughter and all of her peers while they were there.There is literally no better care in the Tri-valley than Horizon. Get on the waitlist and know that it's worth the wait.

This is my first ever Yelp post. Leaving comments is just not my thing but choosing your child's care is so important and Horizons is so amazing, I had to make an exception.We started sending our son to Horizons when he was six months old. He was born during covid so had barely been out of the house abd hadn't interacted with many people besides my husband and me. I was so nervous about sending him on his first day but the teachers are so wonderful and warm that they made him (and me) instantly feel comfortable. It was a wonderful first day, and every day since has been as well. My son is now a little over one year old and loves going to Horizons everyday. They have taught him so much emotionally and developmentally. They have taught him to sign, got him walking and are helping him with his words. I cannot recommend Horizons enough. It is exceptional infant and toddler care and care so so much about all their children.

I previously had all three of my children in an in-home daycare. We had a wonderful experience and I felt like my children were given personal attention and care in an environment that felt more like a family than a facility. When the owner moved/retired, I began to scour the availble daycare options in the area for infant/toddler care for my youngest, and after looking into the more commercial centers, I felt extremely anxious about sending him to a much larger daycare center.Luckily, my oldest's teacher at STEAM Preschool (also part of PUSD) referred me to Horizon EEC and spoke very highly about the teachers and staff there. Once we had a chance to visit the site and watch how the staff interacted with the children, I felt such a relief in finding a place for my child to continue to receive the kind of "in-home" type of care (personal, attentive, and nurturing) I was looking for, but also coupled with the benefits of having more structure and a focus on early education. My now 2 year old son has begun speaking a tremendous amount since starting at Horizon, and I am often surprised at how advanced his vocabularly is. The staff is gentle, reassuring, and constructive- I feel like they are setting him up for success when the time comes for him to go to preschool. I would not hesitate to recommend Horizon to any parents who are looking for a loving and education focused place to send their little ones.

We have been sending our son to Horizon Early Education Center since he was 6months old. They have taken excellent care of him and he loves going there to see the staff & friends each day. This facility is run by a very caring & dedicated group of employees. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a safe professional daycare in the Pleasanton area that is tied to part of Pleasanton Unified.

I rarely leave ratings on Yelp, but for the outstanding child care services that Horizon provides I knew I had to. The whole team is so kind and loving towards my child. Having more than one kiddo, I have encountered my fair share of childcare services and Horizon is by far my most favorite.

Horizons is a perfect addition to the Pleasanton community. This is a early childhood education center, not a daycare. When you pick up your child in the afternoon, they are guaranteed to have learned and developed something new

Horizon is a great day care. I started my daughter here in January 2021 during the covid time and they have been extremely careful in taken safe measures, been a great day care for my 15 months old who is still transitioning but everyday she is enjoying a little more. Totally recommend it whoever is looking.
