The bank was find, it was the person in charge of the tellers. Who had a power trip, she retaliated on me because I cleaned the dishes, that was piled in the sink, that she didn't want the tellers to touch to teach the bankers a lesson, she got rid of me, I could have stood up for myself but it was not worth working with such a hateful person that was making my life hell for the last two weeks. Just to get me fired. So glad someone bought out Heritage, I hope they got rid of her., and hired a team player instead without a big power hungry additude

Bad experience working at Heritage Bank Pleasanton branch in operation site. Operation Manager Sonja is so bossy, unprofessional, not supportive at all, always gossip about other team members and makes unhealthy and negative environment for the team. She made fun of my accent several times in front of clients and coworkers. I'm not the only person that quit their job because of her disrespectful behavior. I'm not recommending anyone to work in this branch.

They charge $75 to receive past bank statements. Do not use Heritage Bank. They have poor customers service. It is better to use a larger bank like BofA or Wells Fargo that is better established. the Bank doesn't store loan statements. Each month the Bank mails them out for your records. The Statements are $5 per copy and a research fee of $45. Please send a check, payable to Heritage Bank of Commerce, for $75. The address is below,Heritage Bank of Commerce

Quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had dealing with a bank. Mainly because of a loud mouth rude employee by the name of Nathan Labude. This guy sure talks like he knows everything. He yells at you, talks over you. Can't figure out if I'm the customer or he is by the way he yaps at u. Easiest solution? I closed my relationship out. Goodbye

This bank robbed a small business of PPP funds. Im sure they did this to several other companies. Unlike other banks that clearly specified that they would not take applications unless an existing customer, this fraudulent bank allowed for applications and continued to act like they were submitting. Then they pulled a last minute bait and switch well after loans were due and stated they would no longer process loan applications unless a current customer. They offered no explanation of why they changed their minds and basically told us to find another place to submit. Of course this made it impossible to reverse course and file an application with another bank, never mind all the time wasted filing and submitting documents. Shame on you heritage sba division - Thomas, James, Jill. As if life wasn't hard enough for small businesses and trying to navigate this loan process!

I received a business loan that I personally guaranteed. When the business closed, the bank was unwilling to work with me on a monthly payment option that was viable for my personal situation. This has led to dire financial strain on my family. I totally accept the fact that I guaranteed the loan and understood I was responsible for paying it back but was shocked with the callousness in which I've been treated. They have been totally unwilling to try to find any solution and have felt that they would prefer I default on the loan.

I had the most amazing experience with Fanny on Friday. I needed assistance with something and shared a very personal story with her. She was so kind and patient and really made my day. The service extended to me was above and beyond and I am happy that I not only had my issue resolved but was able to work with a trusted professional like her.

Hello again, I give HBC credit for attempting to resolve my issue. They rebated the fixed fee and 'could do nothing about the charge from Wells Fargo. They tried, and so hooray. However, I can't give them a full five stars until they drop Wells Fargo--they of the massive fraud--from their associated "big" (i.e., "TARP") banks for certain transactions. My suggestion would be to ask HBC if any of your transaction involves Wells Fargo. If any does, investigate all charges carefully and get it in writing.

My family and I had an exceptional experience with this branch. It was quite lively and energetic as banks go. Perhaps because it was Halloween... We met the Branch Manager/Regional director who was very accommodating. The real star was Chelsea in New Accounts. She seemed to have the answers to all our questions. Very professional!

We used Heritage for a refinance on a small commercial property in San Francisco back in 2013. Yesterday we sold the building and received the closing documents from the Title company. We were quite surprised to find a 2% prepayment penalty on our loan which we had been paying down for 5 years. Lo and behold, when we contacted our loan officer, her advice for not having to pay this fee was to "not sell the building". She referred to the original document we signed, which in fact did state the prepayment penalty for the first 10 years of the loan!! Our mistake for signing such a restrictive document and not reading all of the fine print. Beware of this bank-they are only in this to make money, not to keep long term customers.
