Had my 2011 Toyota Prius towed into Harry's 2 weeks ago. The engine was rattling badly on the Freeway. Harry's rep looked at it the next day. As i was traveling through i stayed at a local motel to wait.
After some prodding in the AM that i needed the auto by end of day, they did an evaluation at an approx $180 cost . There were three (3) ignition coils that were 'bad'. The cost for these parts were $200 EACH + tax. Interesting that I had one replaced 7 months earlier at a shop in Los Angeles which charged $100 + tax for the SAME PART.
The HARRY"s Rep at the counter told me that i 'needed the BEST parts for this. This was NOT TRUE as i found out later through research that these parts routinely fail 'after 60k Miles. There is no need to get the 'Top of the line'. He was 'UPSELLING. Harry's MARKUP appeared to be 100%. Therefore , the reputable mechanic in LA ALSO had a 'markup and STILL came out at $100. Harry's 'DOUBLED THE already HIGH PRICE and made $100 profit on EACH PART.
I walked out of there paying $840 for service and PARTS that should have been at least $200 LESS>
I don't deride this service facility to 'MAKE A PROFIT> However, this charging for these parts were 'BEYOND a REASONABLE markup.
HARRY"S has a very well maintained office and accommodations for customers. THERE IS A REASON. The HIGHER PRICES go to pay for this shop.
I SINCERELY DOUBT THAT HARRYS' provides services that are 'best for your wallet' as they DESCRIBE ON THEIR WEBSITE. They PRICE GOUGE on parts. IF you are reading this and use them - QUESTION THEIR PRICING.

Based on their many stellar reviews - I called the other morning to see if they had time to do an oil change and they fit me right in. They called to let me know that my air filter needed to be replaced and then my car was ready for pick up within a totally of a couple hours. They provided great customer service - I’ll definitely be back for future services!

My Son’s car had a noise after a timing belt kit install in Tucson. He had planned on leaving Sunday morning to Twin Falls ID. Harry’s was open on Saturday and said to bring the car in. They found a problem with the belt adjuster. Unfortunately the car's engine light came on before they got to far into the trip so my new car went on a adventure. I’ll return to Harry’s to have the light checked.

I had a great experience with my car repairs at Harry’s! I brought in my 2009 Infiniti and had a positive experience. I was given two different approaches to solving the fix on my car That I was able to decide between based on the benefits of each alternative. Repair was completed in a professional and incredibly timely manner that fit my needs. I will be bringing all of our cars here for not only auto repairs, but also regular maintenance and smog.. Harry’s is trustworthy and reasonable. Thank you!

I drove across Nevada with a busted AC and Harry’s got me in the next morning, found the issue, and had it fixed by the end of the business day. Thanks for the quick fix so I could enjoy the rest of my vacation in cool air!

Took my Chevy Volt in for an oil leak. Your shop found a leaking oil filter which was done by a Chevy dealership. I will not be going back to that dealership. Harrys Auto Repair is my new Auto shop.
