if there was a 0 for rating, I would choose it for this company. 1.)the description for a double panel for custom orders was confusing. It reads like you get either 2 lengths or 2 panels ( as you do with the non- custom orders) 2.) You cannot get anyone on the phone if even if you can, they will not redirect a package or cancel the signature requirement. "Custom orders require signature" the small print says. It's coming from outside the US. 3.) the drapes are made outside of the US so signature is required. There is no indication when you will get your delivery , because it's coming from someplace from China, so you can't plan to be anywhere other than home when the package is going to be delivered. If you are unfortunate not to be at home when they attempt delivery, You will not ever get your delivery unless you pay the 50% restocking fee and shipping. I spent about 2 hours with Fedex figuring out how to get this package. NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION. I'M GOING USA MADE NEXT TIME.

Drapes are OK for the price, but if you do business with Half Price Drapes or even just let them have your e-mail address, you'll be flooded with almost daily spam. And when I try to unsubscribe, my virus protection program warns me not to proceed, so customers must either NOT unsubscribe or possibly get their devices compromised. (I think that's illegal, but certainly has the effect or preventing someone from unsubscribing to the spam mail.)

I ordered three roman shades for two guest rooms. We were not able to hang them right away and by the time they were hung and had company to operate them is when the issues became REAL! The mechanism in one of the shades sticks out of the fabric and when they were down and you cannot fix. They look like a pillow case. And when they are pulled all the way up; you can not achieve more than one fold and the two shades in the one room have different fold dimensions as their is two different size windows but the folds are not uniformed when pulled up. They look out of porportion and CHEAP!! My husband who is an engineer for 40 years has difficulty but is the only one who can manipulate them and it is quite embarassing when you have guests and they cannot operate themselves. It takes about 3 minutes to arrange the cord from underneath the shade to get them fully down and in place. You have to use your hands as the cord is not functional so then you have to make sure you have clean hands as you are touching the shade. I contacted them and was told you are passed the 30 days and there is nothing they can do. The first customer rep offered to give me 20% for my troubles as I am removing them and throwing them in the garbage. Well they rescinded and would not offer me the discount, nor would they remake the shades or give me store credit. BUYER BEWARE - THE COMPANY IS VERY DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH AND DO NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT! BELIEVE ME, I DONT THINK THEY WOULD HAVE WENT OUT OF BUSINESS IF THEY STUCK TO THEIR PROMISE OF A 20% DISCOUNT. I WAS DISHEARTENED AND FRUSTRATED AS I AM A FIRST TIME CUSTOMER. A REPUTABLE COMPANY WOULD MAKE SURE THEIR CUSTOMER IS HAPPY AND WOULD WANT A REPEAT CUSTOMER; BETTER YET REFER THEM. THEY ARE NOT EVEN WORTH THE ONE STAR REVIEW.

I have dealt with HPD on three occasions. I love their curtains. This most recent time however, I was extremely disappointed. I must have ordered the wrong top. I like the grommet but I must have ordered another top, my mistake. Because i did nit get grommet. I called them and asked if I made a mistake. They sent me an email about the return....I wanted to exchange so I called them. Apparently, there are NO EXCHANGES. THE ITEMS NEED TO BE RETURNED AND THERES A RESTOCKING FEE , the items I bought were 178.00 approx. I didn't continue reading so I don't know about a shipping cost. They demanded I return on their terms and buy anew. I won't be using these people again.

I have purchased 2 kinds of drapes from them , both faux linen. Very pleased with how they look, these drapes are made well and the colors are pretty true to how they look online. The deliveries were quick and the experience was easy. I will be a coming back and recommending this company to friends/family.

I needed new window treatments for a wall of windows. It was a very unique project and I was able to work with the customer service reps who were very knowledgeable and patients and also received numerous samples quickly. The company is extremely professional and the curtians are beautiful. I got the blackout and they are really well made. I needed 108" and 120" panels ans thse were 1/4 of the proce. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Do not buy from this company. Misleading ads. Poor website. Terrible customer service. They take no responsibility or make any effort to fix problems. It appears by the other reviews, this is a reoccurring issue, poor quality product, and they sell the same drapes on other sites for cheaper.

Buyer beware. Do not buy from this company. I wasted several hours over several days trying to put an order through, and having to recreate an order due to several issues on their site. I called, texted, and emailed, and still had to call them again 3 days in because no one had contacted me. Their "customer service" is horrendous, might as well call them an answering service, because they don't listen to resolve, even when requesting a manager after 25 minutes of going around in circles with the rep. They take no responsibility for their site gliches, nor make any effort to make up for the inconvenience or time lost. Needless to say, I canceled my order, an will never do business with them again. Looking at previous reviews, it appears the drapes are very poor quality, and can be found cheaper elsewhere. Worst customer service ever.

The restocking fee for an off the shelf product is way too high. After returning the drapes I purchased (because the color was no where near the description), and sending them back on my dollar, plus getting charged 20% was them making a lot of money without me getting any product. They need to offer color samples so others dont have to pay way too much to send the product back.
