There are many shops in bay area that make artwork frames, but the spirit of craftsmanship like you have is rarely seen, and it is also the most scarce and most requested thing in today's society. I am very surprised and touched by your pursuit of the spirit of handicraft production. The handicrafts created with a knife, a hammer, and a thread make the project hand-crafted to the extreme. Thank you for knowing you! Thank you for your respectful and sincere attitude towards your career and labor. You are tireless in your efforts and work hard, including the silk artwork ‘s difficulty for frame, the final finishing of packaging the work to make it perfect. Gregory Frame Shoppe is THE place to go to get any of your special photos or paintings framed. John and Jeanna are fantastic to work with and know the craft like the back of their hand - I completely trusted them throughout the whole process. They were extremely communicative and have the expert advice of what type of frame will be best for your piece of art. My artwork is from the 1980s and very sentimental to me, which John and Jeanna treated with great care. I had gotten the artwork reframed about 10 years ago and it was not done well, so they showed me the process of how they were going to re-frame it to ensure the artwork was kept and treated with care. I couldn't have imagined how good the framing turned out and I absolutely love it! I appreciate everything that John and Jeanna did - I will definitely be returning and highly recommend to anyone!

John and Jeanna are the current owners who have run their business for the last 26 years and their expertise is unsurpassed. They have framed many of our paintings over the last 20+ years and we have always been delighted with the outcome. They treat each work of art as an individual piece and find just the right frame to showcase what is special about the painting. Their consultative approach and attention to detail is unlike any other place – we have found that it is absolutely worth any wait to get the right frame from them. They also have access to a large selection of custom and handmade frames from around the world – the frames by themselves are often a work of art. I would highly recommend them.

I was actually looking for a custom size table top glass. I called Gregory Frame shop today to check if they do glass as well. Nobody answered but I left a voicemail. I got a call back in less than an hour and the person not only explained very well about how/why they can't do the table-top glass, but also referred me to a few good spots in the area who can do that. I really appreciate the business ethics and willingness to help. Thanks a lot.

The owner is an absolute gem. It's always nice to support a small business but it's even better when that small business is exceptional. I needed hooks to hang on some mirrors that I purchased at a consignment store. I was on crutches and he came to my car while I sat there and brought them back and forth. It was so above & beyond. He of course, did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. His designer even came out to the car so I didn't have to go anywhere to book a design appointment. She was very sweet and gave me excellent instructions on how to prepare for the appointment. I'm so excited to have them help with my gallery wall!
