I cannot recommend this business in the slightest. I recently had a business tax matter which required a consultation with a tax attorney. I called a firm in the Bay Area that personally recommended I give Jack Harrington from Franklin Management a call and have him go over my records in order to get a second opinion and give the law firm a better idea of the situation and whether or not we have a case. Now I don’t know who they have working here but I left a message on Thursday for Jack and patiently awaited a call back. I finally received that call back from one of the rudest middle aged women I’ve ever had the displeasure of speaking with in my 29 years of life. When I picked up the phone she barked at me and demanded to speak to me while using the wrong first name. When I asked her where she was calling from (I make and receive about 40-50 calls per day, Monday- Friday) she rudely told me “Franklin management give us a call back when you can figure out who you’re leaving messages for” and hung up on me immediately. I will absolutely not be doing business with Franklin Management and I see why you all have a non working phone line that hangs up on customers when they press “0” to speak with a representative. It’s obvious you care very little about any of your clients from how I was treated today. I will be letting the firm know how you treat referrals and you should be disgusted and absolutely ashamed of yourself and the people you let represent your business. That miserable woman needs to find another job if she hates your customers so much.

Do not work with Jack and Franklin Management. They were a total nightmare, and even though I've switched over to another much more professional agency, the damage they caused still lingers today. I had to cut the cord and drop them with work being unfinished with countless mistakes leftover. The new company has been going back over a year to clean up their mess.Jack's team would guess where to class your expenses and put them in the dumbest places instead of asking or doing a review. They were months behind. The months they did reconcile, they left nasty balances lingering. They were super unsafe with password storage, it was mind boggling. Payments for critical bills were not marked as paid, they were just entered as journal entries, leaving over $500k of unapplied payments. They loved doing things as journal entries with no memo instead of the correct way. Bills were not processed on time resulting in repeated late payments and penalty fees to multiple vendors. Thousands in fees for being late to some.I knew I shouldn't work with Jack the moment I met him, but he was referred to me by someone who I trusted at the time. I should have trusted my instincts and ran away.

10+ stars! Look no further! Months ago we were looking for a new tax accountant, numerous colleges (business owners) told us about Franklin Management. After all owners raving about the entire staff also accounting services offered at Franklin Management, we decided to have a meeting to see if they were able to assist us with our business. For clearing up our past tax accountants errors, to handling our current taxes moving forward, etc. Of course they are able to assist us, immediately seen how clean their entire office is, attentive staff plus their location is at a prime industrial location in Pleasanton! We are beyond happy with Franklin Management, not sure why other people gave bad reviews, that makes no sense! They are the best around!!!!

Waist of time. We called a couple times trying to set up a meeting for our business and personal taxes. We spoke to the receptionist twice over the span of a couple weeks but nobody called back to finalize a time to meet.

I guess they are not interested in new clientele. I reached out twice trying to set up a meeting. Spoke to a nice women on the phone both times. The women over the phone said a guy named Jack would call to set up an appointment. I waited 10 days with no reply. I called again. Same deal. Talked to the receptionist again and she assured someone would call to set up a time but a week later I still haven't received a call. Bad business

I was hesitant to bring in someone to do my bookkeeping but after meeting with Jack and his team I decided to go for it...and i'm so glad I did! Not only do they save me the constant headache of handling my own bookkeeping but they are so pleasant to work with. I definitely feel secure knowing that Franklin Management is a part of my business and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable bookkeeper!
