I visited 3010 Bernal today to pick up prescriptions. I arrived at 10:57 and the pharmacy opened at 11:00. I used the drive up window and no one opened the gate. At 11:05. a female voice let me know that they were behind and I could either wait at the window or come inside. I said I would wait. I took a picture at 11;07am because the window was still not open. At 11:15 I pushed the call button as a reminder. A young man named Issa let me know the system was down and they could not process my order. He then opened the window and a few minutes later started to process my order. A woman came to the window and told me that they had people waiting inside. I told her I had been at the window for 20 minutes (it was now 11;20). She then told me that she had two people out for two days and they were behind. I told her that that was not my problem and I wanted my prescriptions. She became angry and then put her fingers in my face and told me that she would not allow me to talk to her that way and flounced off. I found her behavior very disrespectful and unprofessional. Then I discovered that (Magdalena) was the pharmacist and I was appalled that a pharmacist would act that way. I told her I was reporting this. Issa was great and got my prescriptions for me and suggested I do the survey.\nThis woman was way out of line. I did nothing wrong but was certainly concerned that I had to wait 20 minutes to get my prescriptions filled. I am a monthly customer and have never had a pharmacist act so unprofessionally. My insurance requires that I use CVS or I would not return. \nNot sure if this is bad management or what. I will be adding this to YELP also. Mainly because she did not use any customer service techniques but instead became angry and reacted. Not my fault if her people do not show up to work.

I tried to use several of their coupons I acquired from a previous visit to purchase a few items and all were denied with the claim that they did not work with the phone numbers I have on file. It appears that I have two numbers on file under my name and address and neither worked with the coupons. I drove out of my way to try to purchase a few items with these coupons only to leave them behind quite upset about their uselessness. I will avoid using CVS in the future. It's bait and switch!! disgusting!!

If you are here for passport photo services and Krystal A. happens to be the one to serve you, my advice is to go elsewhere. Run, as far as you can, especially if you are from a minority race. Maybe try another CVS location, but not this one. I had to drive to this particular CVS as the one I frequent on Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton had camera issues. When I arrived with my family at this particular CVS, I was greeted by a rude Krystal A. who was at that time, tending to the cash register. I told her I was here for passport photos, and she told me that the store is understaffed and that I would have to wait an hour. I understood the situation and obliged, as I have to urgently get the photos out by EOD. She did not expect me to agree with the wait time and became irritated. She then paged a fellow staff to take over cashier duties (this person was nice to us) and then proceeded to take the camera from a drawer behind the counter and begin to provide instructions. So much for the supposedly 1 hour wait. She started with myself, my son, and then my spouse. After the photoshoot was done, I was asked to choose which photos I preferred, and her tone is not one you would expect from someone providing service to a customer. I commented that my son's picture was off-center (his face was tilted) but she insisted that it will pass the photo requirement checks, as the Kodak verification system told her so. I was put in a situation where I did not want to argue due to the hostility I am feeling and did not argue further. Moving on, prior to the photoshoot, I told her that we wanted 10 pieces of passport photos per member, which comes up to a total of 30, for a family of 3. Granted, there may be some misunderstanding during the explanation of the price and numbers required because I ended up getting 60 photos, 20 per person, and she explained that each photo paper contains 2 photos. This issue could have been resolved peacefully with a partial refund. I paid 140+ USD after taxes for 60 photos, of which half of the photos I did not want. She did not provide me the receipt. I had to ask for it and it was crumpled and tossed in the trash. She probably did not want me to be able to return it, or file a complaint using the receipt number. I left, got into the car and was really upset about the experience. I have never been treated like this in a CVS store ever. CVS has always been my go-to pharmacy, and I did not know what to do about it. I sat in the car for a bit and then decided that I am not going to accept this atrocity and I went back into the store, explained why I was unhappy with the service, and Krystal A. told me not to yell at her, which I, for the record, did not. I then left the store again, since i am a non-aggressive person by nature but upon returning to the car and sharing the outcome, my spouse did not accept how it was being handled. I then recalled seeing a sign outside the store, which had the name of the store manager on it. His name was Gary. I went back into the store and asked politely to see store manager Gary and was told by Krystal A. that he was not in today. Thankfully, another CVS employee, Tiffiny happened to be in the vicinity. She immediately took over my case and processed my refund, and respectfully offered her apologies. Tiffiny treated me respectfully like an actual person. Thank you Tiffiny for your professionalism. It was greatly appreciated. I left and got my photos redone at a nearby Walmart. The customer service rendered at Walmart was stellar, and I will be returning in the event I need photos done. What was supposed to be a simple photo taking task ended up making my family really upset. I love CVS, but this awful experience will stick with me for some time. Looking at other reviews here on Yelp, it would be wise to avoid this particular CVS store like the plague.

Have had to return twice to pick up a medication that I received a text for telling me that it was ready. Waited 20 minutes in a drive up line. Waited again inside only to find that the medicine was not yet ready. They were "working on it". The female pharmacist is very kind & helpful. But the service is too slow. Could it be short staffed due to COViD shots, testing, etc.?

My last review of this pharmacy was excellent. However, today is another day. There is NO consistency in the filling of new rx's or refills. I can count on a problem with one or two medications or processing, two to three times a month. I followed the majority of pharmacy staff when the pharmacy in the \\\"Coles Shopping Center\\\" closed. It's called loyalty; a word you don't hear very often today. When I had reached my limit with this \\\"CVS\\\", I called and spoke with Jose, a member of the pharmacy staff. After I spoke with Jose, I asked him for the store managers' name. He told me, \\\"Gary\\\". I asked, \\\"and his last name?\\\" Jose replied, \\\"I don't know.\\\" I said, \\\"You don't know your store managers' last name??\\\" The \\\"kicker\\\" was when I called in a refill for one of my medications last month. I received the rx in the mail. I noticed the \\\"sig\\\" was different. I knew the directions for this medication had not changed, or my doctor would have contacted me. I called \\\"3010 Bernal\\\" pharmacy and spoke to a Pharmacy Tech. I told her what was happening and she advised the \\\"fill in\\\" pharmacist on the weekend, had evidently pulled an \\\"OLD label\\\" and slapped it on the vial!! This IS unacceptable!! I have had several issues with this pharmacy for two, three years. And after receiving yet another \\\"ghost text\\\", I finally \\\"hit the wall\\\"!! I'm done! I'm done! I'm done! \\\"TTFN, CVS 3010 Bernal Ave Pleasanton, CA!!\\\" I called \\\"CVS 6750 Bernal Ave Pleasanton, CA\\\" and spoke to Ben, the pharmacist. I advised that I would like to \\\"transfer\\\" ALL my medications to his pharmacy. I explained my many, frustrating dilemmas with \\\"CVS 3010 Bernal Ave\\\" pharmacy and he was apologetic and expressed empathy. I asked about \\\"free delivery by mail\\\" and he assured me, this pharmacy also offers that benefit. I felt satisfied and after hanging up, I pray that, based on reviews for THIS store, my medication regimen will be dispensed with care and accuracy. I have had retail pharmacy experience as a CA licensed Pharmacy Technician. I don't know if this is a \\\"positive or negative\\\" benefit when dealing with my medications. However, I'm old and tired and don't want the job of \\\"Prescription Police\\\" anymore!!! I'm retired and I want to be able to trust the professionals if I can, with the medications that are life sustaining for me!! That's all.

I've recently been shopping at this CVS. They have been going above and beyond their services. The store is stocked and clean. We appreciate it and they will continue to earn our business.

My fault for not checking the price for a product I bought. It's the very basic Vaseline healing jelly 7.5oz , which everywhere else sells for around $4 same size, here they charged $6.79!!! Huge difference for such a small product. Unless CV is the only store on a 100mile radius, I'll never shop with them again!

The pharmacy staff was so helpful with my daughter's medication today. They worked with us to find discounts for her allergy medications, including her epi-pen. It was a team effort on their part and in the time they were helping us, they were very warm and friendly. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding CVS staff on Bernal!

Chanel 5 news tonight said there have been 15 total cases of the flu in California this year. So why did the pharmacist at this location YELL at me when I said no thanks to the flu vax that they were pushing????

Horrific systems and support. I have been using this CVS location for more than a year. I went on home delivery in summer. All was working well. Starting September, text communication was faulty and I had to call to confirm message were prepared and had to pick them up. They blamed their system and some glitch. Long story short...this has gone on since then. Various excuses... system...credit card not a file 2 months in a row when my card has not changed in years. Final straw ...this month I get 3 identical quasi English texts saying message too early...I finally realize I'm out of meds. They tell me they don't know why the system is sending the messages, no effort or plan to look into it and the capper..." we have no responsibility for our system...there is nothing we can do". Enough Is enough...I'm without meds for a few days but pulled out. No accountability... lots of smiling faces when you go there... terrible support with no plan to fix it. I'm sure I'm not alone. Hope someone at CVS is reading this. This location is severely mis managed or not managed

Happy with this location. It is in the same shopping center as Safeway and Mike's Bikes. I found the parking lot here is easier than the one in Rose Pavillion. Entered through the street light on Valley Ave closest to Mike's Bikes. Exiting that way is not as easy as it is a one way street and you have to flip a u-turn on their round about street turn. Recommend exiting the main way closer to Safeway. Store is fairly big and was stocked with the item I wanted. Not too crowded and they had the self check out line which is great to minimize contact for covid social distancing.

Unfriendly and unhelpful. After 3 visits over 6 months I regret to report that the counter service at this pharmacy is not very good. I went to get a flu shot on one occasion and they told me they ran out of the formula for people my age. I did not know what age that was and they never asked my age to confirm (i was way under the age i later learned). I think they just wanted to reduce demand and sent me elsewhere. On this occasion I waited in line for 15 minutes and when they came to the service counter spent 10 minutes helping someone who just walked by with a question. Another occasion the service was abrupt as if they were bothered to help me as if i had interrupted their day.
