Holy moley - I can not believe I am writing this review for Charles Schwab but this branch was an epic fail as I am still chasing after trying to open checking account! I have accounts with them but per their online website, it said I have to fill out an application and go in-person. I was closer to the Pleasanton location which I do not typically go to but this is simply opening a checking account. I go in with my application that was online to learn the one I completed was not the right one. She says she can fill out the correct one for me which was fine. We did the whole process. And she says, processing is pretty fast so check my account next week then transfer funds, etc. But....when I went to check on the status, I find out my application was not processed at all. NOTHING was started. The phone agent was so apologetic to say there was nothing. So I scan the application and send it to Schwab online. My scanner missed 2 pages and no one with Schwab has bothered to contact me that they were missing. Even though those 2 pages were pages that needed no information, they still wanted them even though they were blank. What is lacking is the customer service as I messaged the urgency and what happened. I was blown off only to learn when I follow-up 8 days later to learn this. So now I am back to the spot where I have uploaded all the pages with a case number now, praying to have a checking account opened. This branch you need to watch and check - lack of confidenceOh and why am I opening the checking account - b/c I'm trying to close up my bank accounts with the classic big banks. This is making the choice very hard as this is a simple transaction.

Since I'm a Baller On A Budget!!!I like to Dabble in the Stock Market once in a while.So I like to trade Stocks and Other Financial Instruments..That's where Charles Schwab comes in. I stopped by this Branch and was Provided with Excellent Service !!!I used their Financial Services- Broker, Clerical and Research Departments This is a Baller On A Budget Approved Establishment!!!!

Very helpful and attentive to my needs. A big thanks to Andy C. and Winnie G. !! My appointment was easy to schedule and the advice was in simple terms that I could understand and digest. They took all my questions and I left with knowledge that will help me moving forward. Highly recommend checking in with your broker 1x per year!

I had quite a bit of difficulty getting a hold of anyone at the branch initially with no option to leave contact information so someone could get back to me. However, after managing to schedule a consultation, I had a good conversation with an advisor, and felt much more confident about my ability to make investment decisions that aligned with my goals.

I've only had telephone contact with this Schwab office and both times the person who answered the phone was very polite but seemed reluctant to set up an appointment for my husband and I to open two new accounts. The woman suggested we fill out the applications and drop them off at the office. They were pension and 401-K accounts which were rather complex to open online. When I called back a couple weeks later and asked for an appointment, the same woman said that she'd have to get back to me after she found out who would be available to meet with me. After not hearing back from her (and never did!) we decided to go to the Schwab office in Walnut Creek. We met a wonderful woman there who did a fantastic job of setting up our accounts and helping us close and merge other accounts. I think Schwab is a really good company from our experience with them in the past, but their customer service seems to be slipping with their deterrence of personal contact with potential customers.

I am a 27 year old, that would like to get information/help from a seasoned professional. I have been in the Pleasanton location twice due to the location being very convenient for me. This is the second time I have been turned away from a broker, and told to look online. The guy I spoke with today told me," to have a good relationship and one -on -one financial help with a broker I need to have 250k in my Schwab account". GREAT customer service Pleasanton Charles Schwab!

I talk to Chuck! Been doing my retirement and savings with them for a number of years, and although my account has had it's ups and downs along with the dow, the people at this branch are hands down AWESOME! Super fast when you need to make an early withdrawal, and often have a check ready for you the next day!
