Stellar service, food pretty good. The arugula salad with shrimp and sweet corn was surprisingly good. I miss the Nordstrom cafe at stonestown! Kids portion are huge portions as evidenced by many seniors who ordered from the kids menu. Nice place to eat and relax with great service.

I never knew this place existed until my colleagues mentioned it, but it's such a great lunch choice! The whole concept from ordering at the counter individually, then finding a seat and having the food delivered to your table is the best fast casual option for a work lunch. I opted for the Asian Chicken Salad with organic baby greens, julienne vegetables, crisp wontons, mandarin oranges, toasted almonds, sesame seeds, cilantro, and a ginger sesame dressing. Everything was fresh and tasty, the quantity plentiful, and presentation elegant. I'll definitely be back for a work lunch or otherwise.

Nordstrom's Marketplace Cafe offers a quality restaurant style that is a cross of different offerings such as Pizza and Salad, etc. It is locate inside the store itself and there usually is not a wait time to get your order taken, sit down, and then get your order taken. And when your server comes to pickup the check, they do so with a friendly tone and come out with your order promptly. Michael was awesome in all aspects in making sure the food was OK and if we need anything else. We had seen someone else who appeared to be management pop out to ask us if we are OK too. So yeah, very positive vibe and very upbeat place. Wifi signal is great too so if you have a Tablet or phone, easy connection and great to use when you are waiting. Of course they have beer and wine there. Score for the Sierra Nevada IPA they have on bottle there. A good place to eat if you are looking for a bite to eat after going shopping, or just to eat in general.

I am a regular at this Nordstrom Cafe and I usually get the same thing every 2-3 before or after my nail appt.... cranberry turkey sandwhich (not Toasted) with chips, a snickerdoodle cookie and lemonade or water. Today my order tasted really different/not good . The lemonade was extremely sweet today I had to ask for a cup Of water to dilute -that was a first. My sandwhich was sloppy the cranberry sauce all over the place -that was a first. The snickerdoodle flavor was different not as great. Idk if there are new kitchen staff or The Cafe is trying something new but I didn't enjoy my lunch today. Please bring back the old Nordies cafe I know.

My coworker and I visited this place last week. I ordered the Spicy Wild Shrimp Pomodoro. Right after ordering, I asked our cashier (Sarah) to make the pasta with a little bit more tomato sauce. Not sure why, but she gave me a dirty look, and she asked me to pay extra for the sauce! I refused and just said, "never mind". After getting our food, I realized my pasta is very dry. My friend was just laughing and told me, she probably asked the chef to make it dry instead. Anyway, I didn't want to complain, so I ate the pasta a little bit and just decided to not go back to this place. My coworker and I eat at different restaurants five days a week, and nobody has treated us like this. That was just such an unpleasant experience.

Nordstrom's cafe is our family's favorite restaurant in Stoneridge mall! The food is consistently good and the service is fast and friendly. I love their salads. I wish they were bigger, but they're always fresh and filled with delicious ingredients. The Santa Fe Chicken panini is my son's favorite sandwich. Save room for dessert! The chocolate chip cookies and slices of cakes are yummy too.

If it wasn't for the food being so great , I probably would never come here. The service is absolutely poor. Servers act like they don't want to assist. I spend pretty good money for an entire experience. Really disappointing

Nordstrom Cafe is one of my go to places, always used to be. All the staff have been friendly except the lady at the cashier, Sara. She referred to herself as the Assistant Manager. My first impression was that Sara, who was taking my order, was not happy with her job. She was not friendly at all, she was very short with me, and rude. When I tried to make tweaks to my order, she treated me very rudely. I asked for no peppercorn aioli on my sandwich, and the attitude I got back was horrible. I have asked for no aioli here before, and it was never an issue, I dont know why it is now. It baffles me that the cafe could make someone with this attitude a manager. This is unlike Nordstrom to have poor customer service and very disappointing.

Salad of my dreams has been available for awhile now. Nordstrom Cafe is back on lunch rotation because of the Shrimp Arugula Salad with Polenta Croutons and corn. Lightly dressed, fresh and meets all my dietary restrictions! Fast friendly service, can be crowded at peak times, but for retired me, I can make it in at slower time slots. Crave!

I don't think I'll eat anywhere else in this mall again. We had the club sandwich and the Santa Fe sandwich with salads. Both were delicious. The service was outstanding, they were very accommodating and kind about substitutions and dietary restrictions. Definitely with the stop.

Have dined here 1,000,000 Times! Well okay, that might be a slight exaggeration, but we have eaten here a lot! My wife and I come here every Friday night without fail. There's a simple reason for this: The food is excellent, and the service is equally good. They have several different salmon entrees, which I generally order. My wife oftentimes gets a salad, or an Italian Dish. I also like the mixed berry with fig salad. We really like their menu of healthy items, and the prices aren't too bad. Naturally, they aren't as cheap as fast food, but it's still a pretty good deal. The most expensive dish is about $20. Just recently they added a sunset hour, which gives you great deals on wine and beer. During this time, wine is $5, and beer is only $4. You order at the front counter and the server brings you your meal. It's usually just a few minutes. We have consistently had excellent service--especially from our favorite 2 servers Abdul and Weeda. Here is a secret tip. Please don't tell this to anyone else. They don't have a senior menu, but the kids menu is just like a senior menu. You get a slightly smaller portion at a much reduced price. Plus it also includes a free drink!

I feel bad only giving this place one star, as it's a go to establishment for my wife and I. However the service we received our last time here was just terrible My wife and I had dinner at Nordstrom Cafe, in which we've always had a pleasant experience, except this time. We ordered the salmon dish which came cold and uncooked in the middle. I understand that this can happen at any restaurant, but I was astonished by the way that assistant manager (Sarah) handled the situation. She was completely rude, and kept trying to blame us, saying we don't know how fish should be cooked. I was taken aback by the actions of this manager, I've never been to a restaurant where the manager yelled at me. We always shop at Nordstrom because of their exceptional customer service, but this time was just terrible. I'm highly disappointed, and will have significant doubts if I should ever eat there again.

Nordstrom Cafe is my go to spot. They're usually my favorite but this particular location not so much. The food is fine but the service is quite bad. I dot like bringing it up but it has a lot to do with my race. The specific waitress either doesn't like working with ppl who are specific color or it's just me. Every time I'm there she literally has me wait at least 10-15 minutes before she comes over with a dry attitude(it's not busy) or someone else takes over because she refuses to serve me.I think it's odd and saddening that Nordstrom allows discrimination and prejudice people. Especially handling food, that's quite dangerous in my opinion. She shouldn't be a waitress. I won't be returning, this is the 3rd time I've tried. Chance after chance.. you're going to lose customers. Happy New Year. Take care

My girlfriend Michele & I went to have a small bite earlier today at this Cafe.. We were Very pleasantly approached by an Adorable waitress by the name of Laurel... too many times these days the people that are supposed to be "Customer Service" employees give us everything OTHER then any service,, sometimes good Or bad.. but Laurel went out of her way to help us.. she was kind, efficient, so cute, proper, quick and helpful.... too many people these days are taking the time to go on this and/or other social media sites to complain about services. I knew I just had to take the time to go here and tell Everyone~ how Wonderful Laurel in the Cafe at Nordstrom Pleasanton is... Thanks for such a nice afternoon.. Beth & Michele

My mother and I ALWAYS eat here after we shop at Nordstroms! The service has always been good and I've never had a bad dish! The Chinese chicken salad seemed to be different the last time I had it so I stopped ordering it but that's the only negative I can think of and a very slight one at that. I usually get a seafood item these days and they will switch out the chicken in the cilantro lime salad with shrimp, yum!! The spicy shrimp with pasta is one of my favorites as well! I appreciate the consistency of food quality and service so the slightly higher price is worth it imo.
