I am so incredibly happy with the windows from Cal Coast Window & Door! I initially worked with Sal who helped me determine what windows I should consider. He didn't push hard from a sales perspective; he just provided me with straight forward information a/b their products, all my options, what would be the best option based on my budget, provided images and even stopped by one day to show me samples to help me better visualize. Again - no hard pitching or pushing. Just very responsive in a timely manner and was able to offer competitive pricing. Fast forward to the installation - Koba and his team were AMAZING! SO professional, polite, hard working and clean in making sure everything was covered up nicely. Koba is truly a master of his craft. It's a lot of work with cutting, framing, sealing, etc. and their work was perfection in every detail. I evaluated a handful of different window companies and know I made the right choice!

I do not often write reviews, but had to talk about my experience with Cal Coast. When I reached out to Dave, initially, for a estimate, he took the time to answer all my questions, re-quoted based on different options, and walked me through any change and the reasons why. Chris came out to measure for the stucco estimate, he was extremely professional and was upfront about the pro's con's of the options we were considering. Rob came out for the final measurement, again professionalism was front and center. He answered questions and guided us through our decisions without pressure or made us feel like we were asking dumb questions. Lorna was a pleasure to work with during scheduling and kept us up to date on the timing. Omar, Juanito, and Mauricio were absolutely AMAZING to work with. They were exactly on time every day, worked hard with a smile on their face, kept us up-to-date on what they were doing and more importantly kept checking in with about any issues they saw and reported back, thankfully, no damage/rot/water, etc was found. They cleaned up like they were never there. And their work, especially on the trim, turned out awesome. I am so glad we decided to have them do it versus me :). At no point did I feel pressure from an up-sell or try to convince me of something I did not need, even with the stucco and front door estimates. You simply provided the estimates and let me decide if we wanted to proceed. We ultimately decided to just replace the windows with Cal Coast. The window prices were fairly competitive as the stucco and door install prices were higher than other options. As I am sure Dave can attest to, we received quotes from 4 other companies. We were very close on selecting one but found out quickly they were trying to upsell on a higher line of windows than what we needed. That lost trust. I appreciate Cal Coast's honesty from start to finish. I cannot wait to refer any friend, family, or co-worker that needs window work. I appreciate working with your whole team

My neighbor replaced all her windows & recommended Cal Coast Windows....So I replaced 3 windows with Cal Coast. I also highly recommend - prompt excellent customer service from David Shields, Rob, Lorna, Gary who explained city permit/installation process & promptly scheduled. I was MOST impressed by workmanship by experienced outstanding professional detailed installers, Alex/Marco, Victor/Jesus teams. With attention to detail, they noticed I had old water damage & fixed it before installing new construction windows, new stucco; used better quality cement that city inspector recommended. (My previous windows were retrofit in old frame & leaked/drafty-poorly installed) Cal Coast is top quality company that has integrity, gives personalized customer service, answers questions patiently & retains loyal skilled window installers who take pride in their work. They don't cut corners. Love my new insulated windows, quieter, no drafts. Teams cleaned up all construction debris neatly, no broken glass or nails in yard. Reasonable price/excellent quality - will use them again-I trust them!!

The guy who came to our house did not bring booties to cover his dirty shoes. My blood started to boil right there. Instead of turning him away, I tried to keep my cool and let him in where he spread dirt all over our clean hardwood floors. That was my 1st mistake. When he got to my carpeted office where I wanted the doors replaced, I respectfully asked him to remove his shoes. He blatantly refused. I should have just stopped the whole thing right there but because I really wanted the quote, I let him proceed. I was so disgusted the whole time watching his gross shoes walk all over my carpet. I regularly walk barefoot in my office! I spent the entire day shampooing and vacuuming the darn thing. After thinking about the disrespect and lack of utter concern for my home, I decided to not give them the business. Their service would probably be just as gross. The company I ended up going with was super respectful, super considerate and just pure joy to work with.

I have my windows and patio doors installed 2 years ago. This year I just have time to enjoy my patio door and suddenly I realize my screen door is difficult to open. I called Dave yesterday and today my screen door has been fixed Thank you so much for good customer care services I feel safe and lucky to have Cal Coast Window install my all windows It's been 2 years to have their service but they still treat me like new customer

Just finished a bay window and patio door replacement with new construction. Also, due to dry rot and a preexisting leak, some significant stucco work involving removing stucco on an entire two story side of the house down to the studs, new insulation/plywood and stucco. The reason Cal Coast has 4.9 stars over 340 reviews: great communication, flexible planning with expert recommendations, excellent crew without third party subcontracting, great work with attention to detail and excellent clean up. They mean for the project to last without issues and aim to make the customer satisfied. Not the cheapest but mid range for the estimates I obtained and well worth the money.

Great responsiveness- really great installation team (Daniel). The windows of course took some time to arrive but the whole process was smooth and JT was very responsive and inviting for discussion and options etc. Overall I would recommend Cal Coast and would recommend using Marvin windows as well. Our house has been transformed and we couldn't he happier with the results. Big investment for your house but totally worth it.

In the process of building an ADU, I reached out to Milgard to bid on Windows for it. They suggested working with Jaime Ledesma. Over a period of 2-3 weeks I peppered Jaime with questions, size of windows, options for glass, and finally was able to get the pricing. He was always ready to satisfy my request and always with a smile. Jaime came with a very competitive price but since I was also buying skylights and glass blocks, I ended up buying from a supplier who provided all of the items. My experience working with Cal Coast Windows, and Jaime specifically, was positive so when my windows in my other house are up for replacement, Jaime will be there person I call.

Their work is satisfactory and their setup of owning end to end makes it easy for customers. However, their prices are outrageous and not transparent. It is easily 1.5 times higher than some other equally qualified installers out there. I unfortunately didn't have time to get multiple quotes before choosing cal coast for my first installation, but dumped them pretty quickly for the next two.

Soooooo happy with our experience using cal coast windows. We had a lot of quotes from window companies and by far the best experience with cal coast. Very responsive with emails, questions, options etc. we got the Daniel's (a dad and son) for our installers and they were so professional, speedy but precise and everything turned out AMAZING. They were great and I couldn't have had a better experience. Very happy!!! If you go with cal coast and get the Daniel's duo, you will not be dissatisfied! Thanks guys!!

Our experience with Cal-Coast Window & Doors was nothing but exceptional, from start to finish. We first enquired over a year ago, and then life got in the way. We never received any pushy follow-up emails, calls, or sales pitches. When we were ready, Dave helped us get the ball rolling. Service was always patient, no-nonsense (in the most appreciated way), and smooth. Gary came out to confirm our order and take measurements. Juan and Josè did the installation - they were professional and pleasant (even singing throughout the job, a nice treat). We have a beautiful new door, and everything is sealed and framed better than the original! Everything was left neat and clean; they even vacuumed the outdoor entry mats. We have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with Cal -Coast and highly recommend their services.

Cal Coast Window & Doordid an amazing job , they demoed. #36 Metal Windows frames on a metal building then replaced them with Vinal windows . Keep Up the good work

We had Cal Coast Windows do our job in 2018 and called back out this year for phase 2. The install went great the first time and we never had problems. We also like that we have seen them grow and get even more stable in the Eastbay market where we live. We are having them install phase 2 next month and would recommend them.
