Awesome experience today at the bank. My elderly dad and I went to the BOA: at 337 Main Street in Pleasanton, CA to get access to my dad’s safe deposit box and have it permanently closed. Ahmad, the person behind the counter went above and beyond to help us not only get our stuff from the vault, but also helped us close the safe deposit box account. Ahmad has a very pleasant demeanor and an extremely helpful personality. The whole process was completed amicably and in a very timely fashion. This was despite not having an appointment!
We wish Ahmad the very Best and pray that he continues with his helpful attitude. God Bless!

Worst security in the world. Wife had her bank hacked 3 times and someone is charging her account with Xbox live then, we call ask to cancel they say they would issue new card, and then it happens again. We ask them to close the ability to bill to Microsoft live to Xbox live then the charges still go through. The same idiots let my card get skimmed and I called them let them know to cancel it and they still let 1200 more go through after we canceled the account. Bank of America is last place in card security the bill to address does not even match our charges on the Microsoft live accounts

Bank was extremely understaffed, there were about four people typing on their computer inside the offices, and one teller. Took 20 minutes to withdraw money as I needed change had up to 7 people waiting in line with one teller.

this is probably the worst bank I been to. I came in to cash a few check which I normally do at other bank through out the East bay. Usually it goes smooth, just slide my debt card , put in my pass code and done. Here at this bank I was being Stereotypes by Wening Chen. She question my transaction and ask for my ID. (what?) ok fine never been ask about it before. I hand over my ID and she ran a black light to make sure my ID was real? Why? I have my debt card and passcode. I also deposited a few business checks before cashing personal check. This bank made me feel like a criminal with my own money. Thanks Wenying Chen I'll make sure your name get attention and you pissed me off!!

I used to be a Bank of America customer at this branch and other branches in the Bay Area. I was always very disappointed by the service. The employees always seem to have an attitude. And the lines were always long when I had to go into the bank. And the apps were minimally useful. As well as the website. I'm now using a credit union instead, and find it a much better experience. The people working inside are actually helping customers. They're not standing around talking to each other or sitting at their desk pushing papers. I will never go back to a bank again. Call bankers care about is the money they're making. And they act like they're doing your favor by listening to your words but try to make their help as efficient as possible. Credit Union employees are actually helpful and are more than happy to explain things to you.

Recently I have been having so much problems with this bank and after my account being compromised, and bank doing nothing about it I am done with them. Such a disappointment... I would've go with 0 star but that's not an option

This is the downtown Pleasanton location that is supposed to serve several customers nearby in a very busy residential and commercial zone. But how the heck are the terrible hours supposed to be convenient for customers? Tues/Thurs 9a-4pm ONLY. oh and I tried to wire some money but NOPE, not offered here. Only basic transactions (withdrawals, deposits). I don't need humans for that, I can use an ATM. What I DO need humans for are other services, but they are not offered here. BOFA Corporate - sort this out.

Inconvenient bank. The parking lot is a nightmare and is always torn up or under construction. The ATMs outside are usually out of order. You are better off going across town to the other location.

Dont waste your time and money with this bank. They obviously do not value your time. I wasted almost an hour waiting for a banker, just to be told to go back into the teller line. No thanks.

Waited for almost 30 min and finally Iost my patience and went up to the counter and ask for Manger. I was told the manger went out for lunch. Told her I waited nearly 30 min and the other clerk cut in and told me no I was only waiting for 5 min. I knew from there this place is not for me. Went to chase around the corner and as soon as I walked in, a rep went up to me what I need and if I need something to drink......

Quick and courteous every time I’ve been in, and never a long wait. Granted we do most of our banking online these days, but it’s still really nice to have a quick easy branch close to home if we need to talk to someone!
