this is probably the worst bank I been to. I came in to cash a few check which I normally do at other bank through out the East bay. Usually it goes smooth, just slide my debt card , put in my pass code and done. Here at this bank I was being Stereotypes by Wening Chen. She question my transaction and ask for my ID. (what?) ok fine never been ask about it before. I hand over my ID and she ran a black light to make sure my ID was real? Why? I have my debt card and passcode. I also deposited a few business checks before cashing personal check. This bank made me feel like a criminal with my own money. Thanks Wenying Chen I'll make sure your name get attention and you pissed me off!!

I would rate B of A lower than a one star if I could. They are not a good community member in Pleasanton. They blocked off all the parking, and there is a lot of it, for Saturday farmer's market. First Republic is a much better bank and understands being part of our Pleasanton community.

I used to be a Bank of America customer at this branch and other branches in the Bay Area. I was always very disappointed by the service. The employees always seem to have an attitude. And the lines were always long when I had to go into the bank. And the apps were minimally useful. As well as the website. I'm now using a credit union instead, and find it a much better experience. The people working inside are actually helping customers. They're not standing around talking to each other or sitting at their desk pushing papers. I will never go back to a bank again. Call bankers care about is the money they're making. And they act like they're doing your favor by listening to your words but try to make their help as efficient as possible. Credit Union employees are actually helpful and are more than happy to explain things to you.

Recently I have been having so much problems with this bank and after my account being compromised, and bank doing nothing about it I am done with them. Such a disappointment... I would've go with 0 star but that's not an option

This is the downtown Pleasanton location that is supposed to serve several customers nearby in a very busy residential and commercial zone. But how the heck are the terrible hours supposed to be convenient for customers? Tues/Thurs 9a-4pm ONLY. oh and I tried to wire some money but NOPE, not offered here. Only basic transactions (withdrawals, deposits). I don't need humans for that, I can use an ATM. What I DO need humans for are other services, but they are not offered here. BOFA Corporate - sort this out.

Waited for almost 30 min and finally Iost my patience and went up to the counter and ask for Manger. I was told the manger went out for lunch. Told her I waited nearly 30 min and the other clerk cut in and told me no I was only waiting for 5 min. I knew from there this place is not for me. Went to chase around the corner and as soon as I walked in, a rep went up to me what I need and if I need something to drink. A million dollar difference!!!!

The service here is outrageous. One teller ( she is very nice) is working and a long line , Six to eight people in line. No one comes to help. Another employee has decided counting money is more important than helping customers. Been in line for over 15 minutes. People are leaving and so should I buy I have to get something done. Piss poor customer service and they don't seem to care.

I had a bad experience on 11/15/19 I waited 45 minutes to see someone. when some of the customers complain to the manager suggested to open an account somewhere else to be happier. That was the worst banking experience I ever had ( I hope someone do something about it)

Very slow. And how do you have only 1 teller on a Friday? The line was very very long and the teller is very very chatty and very slow. No wonder the customer rating for this place is extremely low. There was another executive took sweet long time to assist a customer with cash deposit in the atm

I made an appointment by BOA app one week ago to meet Eilo Baboneh at 10 am 08/24/2019. I arrived on time, bring all documents and was told by his colleague that he is not aware of the appointment coz he never check the online appointment. I then request the branch manager to call him and ask him to meet us. At 10:20 am, after 20 min waiting, he showed up and seem very impatient. He was wearing the earphones while talking to me and I asked whether it is polite enough for a normal conversation. He said: I can hear you clearly. I want to consult with some refinance details, and he basically asked my current rate and directly reject verbally by saying your rate is good enough without even logging his computer. I then asked the recast questions and he said the bank teller will do that, not him. During the whole conversation, he behaves rude and unprofessional. I wish it never happened to me since it is really a nightmare!! Overall, avoid him.

This branch is the WORST! I feel hot under my skin with frustration every time I have to go inside and I am generally a calm person. I am writing this review to vent but also as a PSA to anyone thinking about banking with Bank of America. Since my review will probably will not change customer service on a corporate level, perhaps I can save the people from having the same experience that I do. The place is under staffed first of all. Second, the men on staff that represent at the service counter are self-important, power tripping, and loaded with back-handed comments. They are the poster example of what the opposite of genuine customer service looks like. They lack people skills and would rather make reprimanding assumptions about why you are coming in rather than offering courteous greeting or explanations. Every customer has had that experience where you need to ask for something that is out of the ordinary and perhaps the bank can help you or perhaps they can't, but in any event the standard is to kindly assist the customer in understanding policy. NOPE, not this branch! These guys would rather shut you down and make sure you know you are not getting an inch from them in here. The general take-away feeling after being in this branch is that you are bothering them, they don't care that you have to wait, and they treat you like you are an idiot. SPARE YOURSELVES! Go to another bank. By the way, I do not bank here myself. I have to endure these experiences for my clients. Whom I am always trying to steer away from this bank.

Their checking account maintenance fee is ridiculous. My wife had account in there, and couple of times forgot to remind me in time to refill the account to make the amount bigger than $1500, and they charged us $12 each time. Now we closing this account. Will move to some competing bank with no maintenance fee for checking account.
