I have been going to this store for the last four years. My experience was never what I would expect from a grocery store, but I did not want to write a review. However, the experience just got worse in the last few months. The staff at the food counter is so disrespectful that I will start considering other options now. Well, who cares! If one scrolls down and looks at the reviews, most of them cite the poor behavior of the food counter staff. Did anything happen? Not at all. The owner does not seem to care at all.
The owner owns another restaurant- Paratha House, next door, with a much more pleasant staff.

Ordered simple order (2 packs of rotis, an order of plain pranthas and pakoras) on Saturday; received confirmation of order to be picked at Pleasanton location on Sunday 11am. to 1:00pm. We reached to pick the order at 2:00pm, it was not teady, after waiting for 15- mnts, located Babita (owner), and explained the situation to her. Finally after waiting for 30-mnts, got the order.
In general, customer service at this location is poor. Hoping for improvement.

Nice food and very friendly staff, i tried pani puri, which has real Indian taste , i like to shopping here , because they have fresh vegetables and valuable price . They have also a lot of parking , on weekends you can try sugar cane juice and fresh jlabi there , last time I tried Shahi paneer , which was amazing it’s so yummy ?.

Today I went here to get my groceries and when I was finished getting all my items, I waited in line.
There were 2 people in front of me and a line formed on the other counter as I was waiting in this one, I waited approximately 10 minutes and the worker was moving very slow, looking extremely unenthusiastic about his job. When it was my turn, they told me to go to the other counter and I told them that I waited in line and it would only be fair if they checked me out just so I could be done as well. But instead they sent me to a long line and wanted me to wait there. He was also being very rude, this kind of service isn’t good for a business and it would only be fair if this got checked by someone in charge for future reference.

I regularly shop here, primarily for the unique selection of vegetables and spices that I can't find at Costco or other local stores. However, I’ve had some deeply troubling experiences during my visits, particularly at the checkout. Unfortunately, there are three women working at the cash counter who consistently engage in behavior that feels nothing short of bullying. Also charging 10x extra and refuse to look back.
Once, while I was at the food counter, a gentleman who used to serve pani puri asked me where I was from and if I lived nearby. I responded politely to avoid any awkwardness. However, during a subsequent visit, when I was standing in line for food, he singled me out, instructing me to step aside so that other customers could move ahead of me. This was both surprising and uncomfortable, and these same three women at the cash counter have exhibited similar attitudes.
This kind of behavior creates a hostile environment that turns what should be a pleasant shopping experience into a burdensome task. As someone who values good customer service, I find it disheartening that such unprofessional conduct is tolerated. Customers deserve to be treated with if not with respect at least with kindness, especially in a business that relies on their patronage.
To add to the distress, there was an instance where one of the women made an inappropriate comment to my daughter. I chose to ignore it at the time to avoid escalating the situation, but it’s not something I should have had to overlook.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as the atmosphere created by these employees is driving me to reconsider my visits.

I picked up milk from the store 3 days back (6/18/24). The expiry date on the milk is 6/23/24. This was the only one expiry date available. Today (6/21/24) and I just opened the bottle and the milk is already spoilt. I think there is a problem with refrigeration in this store. Please avoid purchasing milk from this store.

First the good. The store is well stocked and the prices are good.
However, the service is far from acceptable. For example, they overcharged us 10x for something - it was clearly a mistake and luckily we caught it before we left the store. I would have accepted some kind of acknowledgement that they messed up. But no. They even refused to void the original receipt. They did eventually give us the credit, but it was far from smooth. I hate to think what would have happened had we not caught this error immediately.
I feel that this lack of basic service negates a lot of the good points of this store.

Store is clean and staffs are courteous. The issue I had was the weighing scale at the store to be checked and fixed. I bought a papaya and three green mangoes along with red onions. Usually I don’t cross check the weights at home. But this time randomly I checked and found the store scale shows additional weight.
One Papaya at store weighs 3:90 lbs and my digital scale shows 3:144 lbs and three green mangoes at store weighs 3:74 lbs whereas at my home digital scale it shows 3:119 lbs.
This is the digital scale I use to measure for my cooking. I have attached the receipt copy and weighing scale along with items I mentioned.
Please double check if the scale has any error and fix to avoid customer end up paying extra.
