I am a black woman, I walked in, said hello to the grey haired woman in the store and she purses her lips at me and turned around. I thought maybe she didn’t hear me but I said happy holidays to her as I entered and she didn’t reply. I walked through the store trying to like anything and since she was the only customer service rep I just left.

Really bad customer service for an expensive store. I got an unfriendly response from the staff (an elderly grey haired women), who did not bother to answer my question and kept asking me to finish the transaction.

I have shopped at this Ann Taylor for years and never had good customer service. This past January they had a new manager named Yadira. She was the first friendly, professional leader I experienced at the store. I meant to do a survey to compliment her (which I rarely take the time to do) but forgot to do it in time but wanted to acknowledge her here. She is exactly what the store needs!!

Today I had the most annoying experience ever at Ann Taylor pleasanton.I could not shop in peace without the sales associates selling me credit cards and I said am not interested. Also, trying to sell me the wrong size of clothes saying it will appear more straight because I have curves.I said I will never again step foot in this place.Stop being so aggressive in getting a sale how desperate is this company?
To make it worse the sales rep said I can buy it full price then bring the dress back when it’s on sale to get a refund and get a discount waaat? Really like I have nothing else to do.Such a horrible experience I have no idea what happened to the original Ann Taylor but never again I hate aggressive sales so annoying and even if I liked the dress I had such a bad experience I decided to walk out and not buy it.

Super helpful and friendly staff. Need more selection in Petites but was able to get a classic look together for my daughter.

Recently I visited Ann Taylor in Stanford shopping center and then in valley Fair Mall and I was ready to give up on this brand. I'm so glad I drove up to stoneridge. The store is well organized and the merchandise is visible. Best part is the customer service I really want to call out this lovely lady called Ping. Helpful suggestions and genuine desire to give a good experience. I hope she and the store do well. I came away with a new way to work wardrobe. Very happy and satisfied.

Terrible location (and I love Ann Taylor and Loft and am a cardmember). The 3 times that I've tried to make purchase here in the last 2 years:The first time, they refused to unlock a dressing room because it was within 30 min of closing. The second time, they never checked on sizes while I was in the dressing room. The third time last week, they had the door locked early and scolded me for even approaching it (I had not even touched the handle and as I acknowledge them telling me it was closed and used the opportunity while stopped to put on my mask, the person persisted to wave me away and yell through the glass that they were closed. I was just stopped in the walk about 5 ft from the door talking to my son about where to go next since they had closed early). In all 3 cases, I ended up going to a different location the next day and spending $300-700 as I tend to do big seasonal wardrobe purchases before important business trips. I wish they would close this location or get a new manager and staff. Frankly, I shop a lot less at Ann Taylor than I used to because this location, which is nearest to me, is so terrible and inconsistent with the typical brand in-store experience.

Not sure what poor customer service others were talking about because I received excellent customer service today at this AT store. I used to shop at the AT Embarcadero store in SF for work clothes. But that store was permanently closed due to COVID. This is the closest AT store to me. I'm in need of new work pants because I gained 10 lbs during the pandemic and I'm now back in the office. Sigh! The COVID belly. So I drove all the way here to this store. The two ladies Ping and Katie went above and beyond trying to help me. I tried at least 15 pairs of pants and finally found a winner. They were very friendly and patient. I'll definitely be back!

Terrible service by the manager today. The 2 other employees were fine and appeared to be new and unfamiliar with the online ordering system. They really tried but eventually had to get the manager to assist. The manager was on what sounded like a personal call in the back. She continued to be on the call on her cellphone when she came out to attempt to assist. She did not greet me or acknowledge I was waiting. I pretty much had to help the associate navigate their system. She lended minimal help to her staff and even when I asked her to help. The more mature looking lady that assisted me was extremely nice and thanked me a couple times for my patience. The manager never said anything to me except when I asked if my receipt was going to be emailed? She standoffishly responded, yes online orders are emailed and asked if I wanted to take a picture of the receipt on the system; her tone was as if I should have known. The manager was still at the register when I left and never said bye either. Terrible management.

Frustrated! Drove 45 minutes round trip to pick up an order for a wedding. Checked the Stoneridge Mall website for mall hours to make sure they would be open and low and behold, Ann Taylor choose to close at 6 pm as opposed to the mall’s hours of 8 pm. 100% irritated and now I have to go back tomorrow.

The store clerks were not helpful, frustrating when I asked for help with an online order, and felt I was an annoyance when I asked to try on a sweater. For the prices Ann Taylor charges, I would expect a higher quality of customer service.
