What a helpful and knowledgeable staff. Spoke initially with Jack and he was going to have Steve call us back in rewards to a mutual customer with a high performance Mustang. Steve called back very quickly and even answered the questions regarding the aftermarket clutch before my tech needed to ask.

Steve and Allen know what they are doing! I've had puzzling issues with my '66 Mustang (after market A/C quagmire)and my '55 T-Bird (speedometer and hard cold start ). Things I just couldn't figure out as a seasoned amateur. I bow down to these guys. They are gurus. They are not cheap but they will certainly get the job done.Ronald Wacek

To many issues to list ! Really don't like writing reviews so I will cut this short and not go into details. The guys are basically nice guys , but always in a hurry, charge way to much and seam to be learning on customers cars how to install what they sell. So many issues, I have had to remove my new 25K engine three times to fix what they did. Save yourself a lot of grief and don't go there.

My Cobra replica was running just ok. I took it to Alan and Steve. They found 40 HP and fixed a couple oil leaks. Highly recommended.

Just found this place and they really helped. 69 Chevy I am storing for someone out of the country had electrical / starter problems. They were returning sooner than I thought and I didn't have time to work on it. American Performance jumped right in. Having some more work done now that I Gould a reliable shop.

Steve and Allen have worked on my muscle cars for several years now. They go above and beyond to help the customer out. For example, yesterday I had an appointment to have my 70 GTX looked at because it was making a racket in the transmission. I get in the car to start it and nothing. I know the battery had a good charge because the lights were working. I called Steve to let him know and he offered to drive over and take a look. Who does that? A mechanic making a house call? Fortunately I'm close by and they showed up 15 minutes later and helped me chase down a broken ignition wire and get it started. They called me a couple hours later and said the problem was the flex plate and it was fixed. They have also sorted out fuel issues on my resto-modded 63 Vette, rebuilt my 6 pack carbs, etc. They even rebuilt the top end on my Challenger T/A after a different shop screwed up the rebuild. They are busy but they do quality work.

I mistakenly drove into this parking lot when intending to visit a neighboring business. One of the employees came out and yelled at me because he thought I was going to back into another car in the lot that was parked off to the side. Then another employee drove toward my car, impeding my ability to turn around in the lot.

I have taken my 66 mustang to them many times. The quality and detail of work is top notch. They give great advise and are very knowledgeable, and will not sell you something you don't need. They just love cars.By far the best shop I have had work on my car.

I can't give enough positive feedback for America Performance. Steve and Allen are true professionals. I took my hotrod to several shops prior to A.P. but I got nothing but problems and wasted money elsewhere. Steve fixed all of the problems that I had and got me running right! And talk about working quickly. Seriously, they are very knowledgeable about everything that I could throw at them. Make your appointment now because they book up quickly.

The guys picked up my 70 El Camino for new suspension, motor, exhaust and AC. Steve, Alan and Cris are extremely knowledgeable, take pride in their craft and on top of that they are great guys. Their prices are a little on the high side but trust me it is well worth it. They far exceeded my expectations. My car is now an awesome show worthy beast! Like they say you get what you pay for!
