In August, my daughter got a check engine light so she stopped in to have it checked. They nicely fit her in, told her it was a #3 misfire and she needed new plugs and coil packs. Since it's my car I told her to approve it, figuring around $500. Nope, the bill was close to $1000, so they offered to remove the other 3 coil packs and leave just the one and plugs - $500. The parts are overpriced (literally the same coil pack is $62 retail vs the $147.82 charged) and so is labor (it takes under 20 mins to do this work, not the hour and half charged). But that's not my complaint, because ALL the area shops charge this way.My son was out visiting so I sent him with 4 new coil packs, and told him to change them all so they would match. He called me and sent me a picture. This shop broke the connector on #3 when removing it, or it was already broken (and the cause of the misfire) but instead of splicing on a new connector, they decided to epoxy or silicone it on, locking it onto the new coil pack.I spoke to the owner Jeff who said he remembers my daughter coming in.When I explained the problem he said they sometimes repair with a zip tie and maybe it's silicone that was used in this case. He wasn't sure as he said he was on vacation then - wait didn't you just tell me that you remember my daughter? She remembers you). He offered to replace the connector for free but based on the above, I really don't want them touching the car ever again. No reputable shop should perform a hack repair like this without at least a) informing the customer and b) getting the customer's approval. And even then, on principal, I would never do this. It takes maybe 10 minutes to splice on a $15 repair connector, and given the prices charged, why not just do it right?

I will start by saying I initially brought my car to Firestone they said "they couldn't fix my car" and recommended an engine specialist and recommended Walnut Creek Automotive. Jeff, manager, and team were great, quick, thorough and affordable. What I appreciate more than anything was the quality of work and honesty. in todays market, unfortunately, we the consumer can be taken advantage. This was not the case with Walnut Creek Automotive. I highly recommend them and I will definitely return.

WC Automotive is the only place that gets my vehicle. The Boamans are the best in the business.

Nice guy, straight foward communication. However nothing was done to my vehicle. I came in for a noise complain on my brakes. It was a normal noise for him but not for me. Ended up taking my car somewhere else.

This place is amazing they quoted a price for my truck then I came back to pick it up, they said it was going to be more expensive, but they charged me the quoted price and honored it. I would come here again for their honesty.
