Poorly managed store and hours. Went in Sunday afternoon to upgrade 2 phones. After waiting for the guy to explain for 15 minutes how they couldn't help someone with their phone warranty, he got around to us. I said we'd like to upgrade 2 phones. He made a bunch of excuses about how long it takes to transfer data, yada yada yada, make an appointment etc etc. I would have just went to the Google store if I knew I was going to get excuses guy. Obviously they don't work on commission. I work in the communications sector IT, Network, Radios, Critical Infrastructure. I'm used to people who get things done, not have a preloaded list of reasons why they "can't do something." Also, why would you close early on weekends in a busy shopping center? If I've got customers or work to do, I'm making money. But I understand, these people aren't the brightest bulbs, that's why they're slinging phones instead of burgers.

New customers here. What a nasty service! We switched from T-mobile after being with them for 12 plus years because we had no service for over 2 weeks and NO ONE wanted to really look into issues. Finally, we've had enough and decided to go with Verizon. So far, nothing but issues. And every time we come into the store, there are always an excuse like "we don't do this" or "we don't do that" or "you need to call them", etc. What do these so-called employees are supposed to be doing? And their multiple managers that dont communicate with one another? Walk around with their phones and tablets and pretend they work? I am SO disappointed!

Unprofessional staff every time i visited this place i got disappointed on how unprofessional the staffs are. Had to wait an hour for only getting a printout of my carrier contract, the ugly face guy with curly hair even helped another one which came after me. This is annoying Verizon you need to give some ethical training for the new folk. The guy who helped me was polite though

I came here close to closing time on a Saturday with an issue I had with the new phones my family and I had just gotten. Two gentlemen in the front were there and listened to my issue and helped me right away. I ended up getting accessories for my phone as well and they put them on and were very kind, patient and willing to help.

My second visit. Same result, only this time I had to pay $30 for little to no help. I am very disappointed with in-person Verizon customer service. You can get much better help on the computer and I intend to do that next. I was left on my own with a new phone and had no clue how to do things. I had to load all the apps myself and everything else involved. The person made me feel stupid and the decor is sterile with awfully uncomfortable seats (so that people don't stay too long). Perhaps I'll pursue T-Mobile next time.

I thought I left something behind in this location when I tried to call the store, through Verizon customer service 800 number because they don't list a local phone number) the operator tried to connect me twice, in fairness he did warn me, store associates typically don't answer the phone or take phone messages. So he was correct you cannot speak directly to the store. That is pathetic. And it isn't a easy store to get to and hard to park in that location.

I came to this location as it is the nearest corporate store that is near me. I came in to exchange a phone that was purchased online. I needed to exhange for a smaller phone and didnt want to wait the days to week waiting oeriod and be phoneless being I use my phone alot for work and upon requesting this the store attendant stated they would only be able to order the phone online for me to ship it to my home address. This had me furious as they have no problem giving phones to to new customers and or customers that sign up for a new plan. However I who am a long time customer of 16 plus years who has been loyal in giving Verizon my business has really treated me and this simple request I needed as a burden.Verizon penalizes you for being a returning & loyal customer but has no problem giving new customers these offers with free watches, tablets and phones when you sign up for a new plan or add a line.

Would not assist me with transferring my phone service even though their data doesn't cover my house. I need to have service I can use when I'm home. I've been a customer for over a decade. They won't help unlock my phone.

I went in today to upgrade my sons phone on my account. Adam helped with upgrade and told me that once the transfer was complete from old phone to new I’d be good to go and that he would handle the return for me. While transferring we noticed it was going to take 2+ hours for everything to transfer. I had some other engagements to tend to and had to leave but Adam insisted I had to leave the phone at the store to complete the transfer. I decided to leave the phone and go take care of other obligations.Upon my return to the store I was told by Jasmine that I would have to mail the old phone in myself. This made no sense! If this was the case why could I not just take the phones with me and do the transfer at home? When I tried to ask Jasmine this question and also tried to tell her what Adam said about the store doing the return for me, she just cut me short, said that’s not how they do it and began to treat me as if I was being rude. I let it go and just took the phones home and intend on doing the return myself. When I got home I called Verizon support to complain about Jasmine and the rep that I spoke to agreed it did not make sense that I had to leave my phones at the store for 2+ hours if I was mailing it in myself. The rep also indicated that the upgrade said “retail” which means the store was supposed to handle the return for me. This is not the first bad experience I’ve had with Jasmine. I had a similar issue with her attitude during Christmas when I upgraded my own phone and got an IPad. For the most part I try to avoid this store as I prefer the professionalism of the Walnut Creek Ca. store instead. The only reason I go to the Pleasant Hill store is only if the WC store doesn’t have what I want in stock. I love the Verizon service, I have had it for years and wouldn’t dream of switching. But the Pleasant Hill Ca. store employees need a refresher on customer service and how customer should be treated. In particular Jasmine!!

Tina and Yazmin are the PROs, y'all! I walked into the store and was immediately greeted by Tina who helped me and knew exactly what I needed before I even had to say it. She helped me with my problem then set me up with Yazmin who sealed the deal. Both Tina and Yazmin were kind, knowledgeable, and courteous. Couldn't recommend the service of those two women enough! They are the ONLY REASON FOR MY FIVE STAR REVIEW.I was in this store last week and helped by two guys that were not the kindest or helpful...at all. Adam helped me out the first time I was in here and was very condescending in his demeanor. Talking down to myself and my mother like we were children. The next time I came in with my partner, earlier this week, we were helped by Adam again and my partner wanted to leave within five minutes because of how Adam and his boss, Dario, talked down to us both. They talked to us both like we were d*** and told me that my BRAND NEW iPhone that, ADAM HAD SOLD ME less than a week before, was most likely not working because I had "wrecked it" in the THREE DAYS I had the phone (the new iphone 14 plus). Previous to this NEW phone I had an iphone XS Max for FIVE years and this man accused me of breaking a NEW, UPDATED PHONE in three days. What?? He used the analogy of someone buying a new car and bringing it back a week later and saying it was broken; that its a little easier to tell if someone broke a car than someone breaking a phone...what in the hell does that even mean? Does this man not know about after-market upgrades to cars that are unseen on the body? Do you think because I am a woman I won't know how cars operate? This isn't a good analogy at all and I highly suggest not using it again.I debated coming back to this store because of Adam and his boss, Dario. They were both so belittling and dismissive of my claims that when I DID go back with my partner, we walked out after Adam was rude and we went to the Walnut Creek store and they helped us out immediately and didn't talk down to us at all. However, I am so glad that I did come back to try and talk to someone again because I was given the chance to work with Tina and Yazmin, two kind and intelligent women who did not talk down to me or make me feel like a child. In my opinion, this whole store should be trained by Tina and Yazmin on how to talk to female and elderly customers and not shoot them down or talk condescendingly to them. I get it, you have a lot of customers who aren't technically adept, but dang, don't talk down to people like they are unintelligent. Be kind, take a breath, and think about how you would like to be talked to and helped by someone when you are in need. Grow up, learn some manners, and maybe Tina and Yazmin will educate you on how to work successfully with customers.

Your customer service is unfathomably bad. Jordan at your location is lazy, unprofessional, and conniving and should not have been given any commission for my appliance purchase because he ended up losing the company 2 customers. I switched to Verizon because you’re supposedly ‘the best’ but that’s far from the truth. T-mobile has better prices and the same coverage. I switched to T-mobile 3 days after having Verizon, it was so bad. Your store representatives lie and manipulate just to get commission on new devices. Additionally, this outage has been causing people money and reputations. Our world runs on technology and you can’t even provide that? Not even an alternative for first responders? Not even sympathy and good people skills? Your company should be ashamed.
