I highly recommend Pure fitness and Ryan as a personal trainer. He is amazing, professional, friendly and kind. Ryan has many years of fitness experience. He is attentive, listens to my concerns and goals, knows when to push the pace and when to stop. He is very knowledgeable about muscle groups and anatomy in general. About a month into my personal training sessions, I am already feeling stronger and can visibly notice a difference. Thumbs up!!

I have been working out with Ryan for the past 6 months and I have seen amazing results.He is very knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition, and he is always willing to help me reach my goals. The place is small but very well organized, and Ryan is very flexible and communicative. He always makes sure that I am comfortable and that I am getting the most out of my workouts. I would highly recommend Pure Fitness and Ryan to anyone who is looking for a personal trainer.

Ryan is the best in the business. Not only is able to offer expert advise as a professional trainer, but he’s also able to help me with my rehab following knee surgery given his experience working with clients following injury. Highly recommend.

I have been training with RryanI am letting everyone know that when it comes to following with pictures as he say to do Saturday. He don't respond the texts right away, he is not consistent with his training and nutrition.He has me on a diet for 1 months. When a personal trainer knows they need to change diet in 2 weeks and following up with thire clients as soon as possible not make they wait for a whole day and leave a clients hanging with a respond.I ask him to give me my money back for 10 days that I will not train with him and he gives me a policy saying he can't give me my money back for 10 days.Just be careful who you pick as a trainer and make sure you know that they have a policy. Thats not a fair person. ?

I got my brows done with Amanda. She gave me two different eyebrows. After a second appointment with her, I sent her pictures of my brows, she admitted that they were different and unsymmetrical so she booked me for a third appointment. During the third appointment, I told her that my brows were still different and that they needed to be measured . She stated: “I am not going to sit here for another two hours to measure your brows.” I thought she was a good person and professional that I was in shock after her response. I went ahead and booked a lip enhancement appointment with the hopes that she could do another touch-up on my eyebrows so they could finally match. After a few days I realized that her response to my request to measure my brows was rude and I cancelled my future lip appointment. I messaged her pictures of my current brows and I told her the reason of my cancellation. She said that she did not charge me for that third appointment as if she did me a favor, but I can’t imagine anyone charging to fix their mess-ups. This is an expensive service and it should have been done right, if not the first time, the second time!

Let me start by saying: I hate working out. Hate it. That's why I always have to work out with a trainer, because there's no way I'll go to the gym on my own. I've been working with David at Bread & Butter Fitness for 2+ years and he's the BEST trainer I've ever had. He's incredibly knowledgeable and his dynamic approach ensures your workouts will never be boring. I only do 30 min sessions but the range of compound exercises he throws at me means I always get a great workout in that short time. (Dare I say, I might even be starting to enjoy it!) One of the things I like the most is that he really listens. When I decided I wanted to focus more on improving strength + balance rather than reaching a specific number on the scale, he was 100% on board and didn't try to guilt me into dieting/calorie counting. He offers the perfect balance of pushing me hard but also respecting when something doesn't feel quite right for my body and offering expert modifications. He's also incredibly positive (without having that fake cheerleader-type vibe) and anytime I feel discouraged that I can't do a certain move or lift a certain weight he always reminds me of how far I've come. If you want a trainer that's committed to your long-term health and getting you there in a sustainable way, Bread & Butter Fitness is the way to go!

David is the best trainer I've ever had. He's patient, empathetic and extremely gifted in his understanding of kinesiology and the ways in which the body moves, recovers and regenerates. After several major surgeries, and an uncertainty about how to get my former dancer body back to form, he's helped me tremendously with strength training and range of motion. I can't say enough about him as a professional and a person. If you're looking for a trainer to get you back into shape in a healthy and sustainable way David is truly the perfect person.

My husband and I have been benefitting from Bread and Butter Fitness with great results that have not only surprised us but inspire us. I was desperate to reverse the negative impacts of menopause and working remotely (not a good combo) and my husband needed to get back into shape after 3 years with a broken back. It is fair to say we both showed up with a laundry list of issues. David listened to our needs, hopes, concerns and articulated goals that made sense to us. We look forward to our workouts! they challenge us and we feel stronger each week and we are learning a lot too. So glad we found Bread and Butter...we had no idea what our physical fitness potential truly was until we started this important journey, so grateful! Don't take aging sitting down, just go for it, you've got everything to lose.

Out of all of the trainers in the Bay Area, David is the best and he is an excellent trainer. My doctor was recommending knee surgery and with David's excellent strength training and guidance, I no longer need surgery. He is truly one of the best fitness trainer's I have ever had. He provides a holistic approach from warm up, work-out, strength training, stretching and also provides helpful tips about weight loss. He truly cares and listens to his clients needs.

100% would recommend Amanda for your brow needs. I hated my naturally thin brows and always was interested in microblading but I was super nervous. After seeing Amanda's work, I felt confident in working with her. The process was so much easier than what I expected. Amanda is so knowledgeable and really takes the time to make sure you are happy with your brow shape before she starts. The blading did not hurt (there's some slight discomfort but nothing like what I was anticipating) and the healing time was quick and painless. I am so happy with my new brows!Service: Microblading

I Absolutely love my brows! No more worries about drawing them on, sweating them off, or looking brow-less at the gym lol.They look so natural and I get lots of compliments. Amanda is the best!. I came to her with botched eyebrow tattoos. Not only uneven but orange in color. I struggled every morning to try to cover them with makeup. I did not feel comfortable pulling my hair back with my uneven brows.I always covered my forehead with bangs or a side part.Thanks to Amanda, I have a new found confidence and I no longer have to worry about doing my brows every morning!I highly recommend Amanda she is not only professional and talented, but a beautiful person as well!

Wow! What can I say?! Amanda was great from the start. Very welcoming & made me feel comfortable. What impressed me the most was her attention to detail, her meticulous aspects of how my brows showed look and how I would like them. She took the time to make sure I would love the proposed shape of my brows. She used a technique called nanoblading, which not many in our area do. She was cognizant of how I was feeling, always asking how I was as she was doing the procedure. After the procedure, she gives a care package along with instructions on how to take care of your brows.I love love love my brows & I’m glad I went to Amanda. I highly recommend her!

Pure Fitness and Beauty is the place to be! My experience with the personal training/fitness side has been fantastic. I couldn’t ask for a more knowledgeable, dynamic and professional personal trainer. Ryan keeps me safe and comfortable (due to past injuries) yet knows how to challenge and motivate me enough to meet my fitness goals. He has a real passion for fitness and amazingly enough it has become contagious—which says a lot since I used to detest working out and could never stay consistent. Ryan is a lifesaver.
