I had my hair cut and colored by Elena. It turned out better than I hoped for. Before and after pics are attached. I go to her regularly for a haircut and my hair always looks amazing afterwards. She does fantastic work!

I will never go anywhere else. The folks that run this place are like family to us now. Both my wife and I always leave very happy with our haircuts. These people are perfectionists - they know what they are doing, they are NEVER in a rush with you, and they never leave one hair out of place. You will be happy with your haircut here. Just do it.

I have been going to Natalia and now Elena. Both have done a marvelous service understanding my choice, matching the right highlight color as per my Indian skin/hair color. On top of that, they offer great hospitality by offering you water/coffee etc! This salon experience reminds me of salons in India in every perfect way!!

My stylist was pleasant & friendly but she cut my hair shorter from what I asked which I was already fine with- but when I got to the house and washed it- I was disappointed of how uneven and a lot shorter my cut was, And one side feels unfinished. I don't know what happened. The place is nice & clean. Price for a cut (with shampoo and style) is reasonable. Im sure they have better stylists on board.

Favorite hair salon I was lucky enough to discover. I spent 5 hours (yes, 5 hours) to the Keratin treatment, and I can only say that it was worth every minute. My hair was incredible, silky and shiny. Great salon, amazing atmosphere and both the stylists and products used are hands down the best in the Bay Area! I highly recommend this salon. I will be back for sure!

Ridiculous prices for a cut and color 250.00? I paid it but couldn’t believe how the smiled as they ripped me off. Hair color was not great and cut was stupid looking. Mad at myself for trying this place!

This initial assessment allows the stylist to fully assess your hair's condition before proposing the best solution. I was then booked for an appointment a week later, and Tooraj completely transformed my hair. It's a great salon. Natalia worked magic on my hair after a hairdresser from another salon butchered and destroyed my hair. Unfortunately, Natalia left unexpectedly.I went ahead and scheduled with another hairdresser at Salon Avalon. She seemed very nice but she didn't want to do what I asked for. I knew exactly what I wanted. So after debating, I asked her how she thought I should cut my hair. She didn't know. In the end, I ended up with an ok haircut. I like it but I don't love it and I see where I am going to have issues with it.I will not be returning. For me, when I am paying someone for service I requested, I think it shouldn't be debatable. The hairdresser should make suggestions but should not tell me what I should or should not do. And for that reason I will not go back.The haircut itself is not bad. It's on the flat side. But is not a horrible cutI'm going to find someone who can fix it up a bit it's workable.
