Hillcrest Veterinary Hospital is a wonderful clinic, the staff are all super helpful & very nice! Dr. Anderson does such a great job on ensuring your animal is well taken care of & goes thoroughly over details of care for your pet ensuring the best care!! All I can say is SHAME ON YOU DR ANDERSON, YOUR EMPLOYEE’S, AND YOUR BUSINESS AS A WHOLE!!! This place gets zero stars, but it won't let me do that so I'm forced to put one. This is why. Due to the high likes of this Vet, we settled on them to schedule an appointment for our cat Winston. We are somewhat still settling in to our community and needed to find a new vet for our cat. Our appointment was for 1/24 and we accidentally put 1/25 in our calendar. Human error.When scheduling our appointment we were told that an $80 deposit was required to get him on the books. This is fine, but we were NEVER told that they would keep the entire $80 if we missed the appointment! I can understand a cancellation fee of some sort for this happening, but seriously???! Dentist's and doctors alike will generally charge humans a cancellation fee of $25-$35 understandably, but $80 for my pet??? Plus the fact that we would be new customers, and you're going to do business this way, is unacceptable. We will make sure to spread the word of how you do business to make a buck. Just horrible! We tried to talk to them, and they wouldn't budge. I could understand a fee, even half of our deposit, but the full $80 is ridiculous. Our family has a business, and they don’t take other peoples money because they miss an appointment by complete accident. If you were a decent human being, you would credit us half of our deposit back. That seems like the fair, and right thing to do.Thank god all family businesses don’t take money from people like you do. That’s dirty business. So you need to STOP with your, “well this is a family business”. No one cares when you act unfairly. You need to do the right thing and at least give us half of our $80 back.

Not the whole $80!!!!

I love this vet. I've been coming here for over 15 years. I loved the previous staff and was sad when Dr. T retired. I was nervous at first about having a new team, but the new staff has exceeded my expectation. Each and every member of the team has been so kind and understanding. I'm someone who has a lot of questions and I love that Dr Anderson spends the time to talk me through it all and makes sure I'm comfortable moving forward. When I want alternative solutions he give me resources to get the info I need. I will continue to take all my furr babies here for years to come.

Amazing staff... they truly cared about our kitty and us. Everything was explained well and we felt listened to about our concerns. A difficult time was made easier with their love and concern. Beautiful people work here!

Great Vet! I have come here for years for my dogs and cat. They really care about our pets. They're not afraid to get down on the floor to make my pets comfortable before the examination. They are very conservative with their treatment plans and will always give me options, when available. All levels of staff are great. I highly recommend Hillcrest Vet.

This place is in business for the money, my dog had a prepuse infection several times, and got it again, called to get the meds needed and they wouldn't provide it without an appointment and couldn't get an appointment for 2 weeks, had to go to SAGE, $900 and all day at the vet later got the $20 worth of meds needed. Hillcrest no longer has our business. Would not recommend bring your animals here. They only care about the money not your animal. And then there's Heidi at the front desk, how she has a job working with people is beyond me, she is so rude and talks down to you like she is some kind of queen. We know several other people that go here and no one can say anything good about her. The techs Andria and Megan are great people.

I've been taking my cat here ever since I adopted him, even though I now live nearly 30 minutes away. The people here are extremely competent, kind, and caring - you can tell how much they care about each and every animal they treat, always giving my cat plenty of pets and treats when I take him in. I was especially nervous when taking my cat to get neutered, since my previous cat passed away being neutered at a different vet. However, the staff at Hillcrest were seriously amazing! They happily answered my countless questions before/after the surgery, called me throughout the day with updates about how he was doing, and let me take him home as soon as they were done monitoring him. Thank you Hillcrest!

They are fantastic people. I had adopted a new family member (dog) from the shelter and they offer a free health check for new patients. They were speedy, kind, loving and professional to my new best friend. They were able to give my pup a health check, and showed us we would be welcome here as long term patient for Scout.

I used to be a vet tech and have over 15 years of work experience in the animal field so I'm rather picky when it comes to the care of my pets. Let me tell you this pet hospital is amazing!! I had to switch vets and have been to this place 3 different times for 2 different dogs. The receptionists are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They make calling in a pleasant experience. The techs I've encountered have all been so friendly, kind and patient with not only my pets but with myself and my kids as well. It really shows they care about their job and take it seriously. The vets I've met were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, supportive and give you the time you need without rushing you. They also give you choices in care and help you make the best decision for your pet and your current situation instead of pressuring to spend the most amount of money. The facility itself is well decorated and is very clean. I am so thrilled to have found a pet hospital that I can trust, that runs well, and is a joy to visit. Thank you for the wonderful care Hillcrest Veterinary!!
