“The PSCU Concord Branch is so much more convenient at its current Willow Way location. Each and every time I have gone to this branch has been a pleasant experience. The employees who work there are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Recently I went in to wire a large sum of money to a financial institution in the EST time zone. I was running a little late and wasn’t sure if I was going to get the wire off in time to make the 4PM EST cutoff time. Branch Manager - Robin worked promptly and efficiently to get the wire off in time. PSCU has been a great banking institution for our family for 30+ years!”

“Pros:Customer Service person was so nice and answered every question I asked very well.Cons: After approving my new car loan and walking into the dealership to close the deal. the car dealership tried to reach the bank on couple of occasions without any succes.I would have said the dealership was not been truthfull because they were trying to have me finance with them. but I had already experienced it myself for the last couple of weeks. trying to reach the bank was so tidous not to mention endless attempts trying to log into my own account all in the name of some merger or update. I eventualy went back in to finance with the dealership for my peace of mind.This was a horrible experience”

His son was the beneficiary of one of his Provident accounts and Angela helped me navigate necessary details to ensure the transition went smoothly. She was able to tell me how to handle the transition when I was still in shock from his passing. Her calm, cool manner helped me with the situation. “I've had nothing but great service with this branch. My account was hacked - not due their fault - and they were able to get me hooked up with a new account that same day. Everything went very smoothly. My ONLY issue is their hours. Anytime I want to go into the office, I have to take an hour from work. I wish they would have at least one day a week where they were open until 5 pm. Maybe adjust their hours to be from 10 am - 5 pm. That would be very helpful.”

“I've been a member of this credit union since 1997, when it was originally called Contra Costa Federal Credit Union. I've always felt like my money was safe with this credit union, the fees are good and the service has been great!Just last week, I was locked out of my account when I entered the incorrect password online too many times. Although this was a hassle, I also realized that this lock-out feature is designed to keep my money safe. The very next day, before I even had time to call 1st Nor Cal to have my account un-locked, a representative made a pre-emptive phone call, informing me that he had already unlocked my account and it was good to go. You can't imagine how grateful I was for that call!I will continue to use 1st Nor Cal through retirement, as they have done very well by me.”
