We feel so blessed to be part of the CoG community. Our boys started last year and in just one year, we have seen tremendous growth in every aspect. The trust we have in the staff means everything to us. We know they are safe, having fun and learning. We are constantly in awe of the curriculum and tools and strategies the boys have become equipped with. The songs they sing and teach to us at home are an added bonus! Thank you, CoG!

We moved to PH 4 years ago from SF and after 4 schools for many different reasons we landed here when a spot opened for our then 3yr old(which is around the minimum age). We were blown away by what the school offered. The staff, the facility, and the community, is above and beyond anything you could ask for. Our almost 3 yr old twins just started last month and we are ecstatic about being back.

We are one year in at Center of Gravity with our daughter and absolutely love it.From day 1 she has really enjoyed the school, teachers, and "work" (her words) that they do. What really stands out to us is the amount of effort and planning that goes into the kids development. While not overly structured, there is clearly well thought out strategies to help kids learn and develop emotionally and physically. Our daughter often comes home and completely surprises us with something she picked up from (like that lift and drag affect how a plane flies). We are planning on daughter #2 attending when she's old enough and can't wait!

My older daughter spent two years at the center of gravity Pleasant Hill campus before moving onto the Gregory Lane campus and now my younger daughter will be starting at the Pleasant Hill camper shortly. I couldn't be happier with the level of attention and care that is provided here. The teachers are top-notch and the quality of the education is amazing. Everything is done with intention and reason. The school's stem based curriculum promotes creativity, learning, and social and emotional development. In each class they continue learning a theme for the year which is woven into many of the activities that they do. Not to mention they are able to do art, capoeira, Spanish, sign language and many more in enrichment activities. The meals are fresh and nutritious and provided by an on-site chef. The school is also excellent about encouraging DEI growth and learning. I really couldn't ask for a better preschool.

My son has been going to preschool here for a year and a half and we have only good things to say about the school, the teachers and administrators. He has learned so much about life and respecting friends and the fundamentals of being a good human, as well as the kindergarten readiness stuff, which seems to be less of a focus but is definitely still happening. My son is very high energy but the teachers embrace this and are fully equipped to handle his energy with positivity. We love Center of Gravity!

I can't say enough good things about this school. Since my daughter started she's been flourishing, coming home telling me how the heart pumps blood, speaking spanish, and doing sign language. I wanted a school that taught and valued diversity in the class room and COG does just that. The families who go here are likeminded and care deeply about their children's educations and futures. The environment is clean and the teachers are friendly and caring. Highly recommend!

Simply the best and we highly recommend considering CoG for anyone looking for the perfect preschool! Our daughter who just turned 4 has been attending CoG since she turned 2.5 years old and we love it here. Teachers are phenomenal and the program is great as well. They also provide breakfast, lunch and snacks that are balanced and healthy which will make it so much easier for the working parents. We are so glad that we found CoG and for those of you that are looking, you must tour CoG!

I can’t not say how happy I’m with this school . My almost 4 years old had difficulty adjusting in the beginning since it was her first time being at a full time preschool but the teachers and faculty did a great job to make this tradition easy for both of us. It is such a great feeling to know even when my daughter is sad leaving me that she is in good hands.

I'm really glad that we found the Center of Gravity (CoG) and our son has been with the school since he was 2 1/2 years old. Unlike other schools we visited, CoG is well organized, and the teachers there are happy.I love how CoG put a lot of thought into having a diverse classroom. They also make sure each classroom has a native Spanish speaking teacher so that kids can learn other languages and culture at a very young age. The kids have capoeira lesson every week. They also learn a few different songs throughout the year. It was super cute that we get to see them perform the promotion before the next school year.I also enjoy the daily slides the teacher put together that shows the student activities. It is awesome to be able to see their daily activities and how it contributes to their learnings. The kids also have art class once a week to learn about different artists. I was surprised to learn that my son learned about Jackson Pollock and his work at school when he was just 3 years old. We got an organized portfolio of all his art works throughout the school year.

Review from a CoG parent 3 years+ post-graduation:My sons attended CoG for several years before we relocated out of state. I was so sad to have to take my 4 year old out of the program prior to finishing because of our move. Our time as part of the CoG family was so impactful for the whole family -- my kids learned so much, but more importantly, were so well cared for and loved by all CoG staff. My husband and I also felt very held by the community and met several friends through our time at the school.Three years later, my kids are excelling in school academically and socially. Even with the pandemic pause which included my eldest ending his Kindergarten year early and not going back into a classroom until 2nd grade earlier this year. I know a ton of their success and resilience is due to the social emotional development they gained in their time at CoG. I would highly recommend CoG for their academic excellence and nurturing, child-first environment where all students are respected and supported.
