“I called this bank branch in mid November and was happy to hear they had reopened. Gent on the phone was nice.Fast forward to today and it seems the temporarily closed sign is back up. Also, my regular branch in Manhattan Beach is permanently closing.High score is for the branch, but to corporate: what gives? If you’re going to be arbitrarily shutting down and closing branches, you’re giving the edge to your fintech competitors. At least we know what to expect there.”

“This is one of the very best branches . I go out of my way to come here . My office is in Brentwood, we live in marina Del Rey and I come to Manhattan beach because of the exceptional service. I came in today and was greeted by not one person , but two beautiful young ladies at the front entrance. Today my teller was Gloria . I asked if Alex was available but he was assisting another customer . I told her he spoiled us with outstanding service the last 2 times we were here . Gloria said she would be more than happy to help us . She was amazing . She was very warm and friendly and very patient with us . She recommended a special program that would offer me a much higher interest rate. I was very impressed. Gloria was simply amazing . The management is doing a great job in providing outstanding service to all of their clients. We got a chance to say hello to Alex who is awesome ! And don't forget , they have the best gourmet coffee and hot chocolate. Thank you Gloria for a great experience today ... and a special thank you to Danny who helped my daughter!”

“My Covid-era Re-Fi was a long and painful process--until Chris and Wendy at CP Financial stepped in and it became a slingshot to success. We hit the bulls-eye (got the rate and cash-out I wanted) in two months. Compare that with the SIX months wasted with another mortgage broker that was marked with un-returned phone calls, dismissive emails about legitimate questions ("so why did you add another 1.5 points to the deal?") and an overall lack of professionalism. What a relief to work with CP Financial. You really feel like they are in your court, have your best interest at heart and want to get you the best deal. He goes above beyond to make sure the customer is happy before leaving . I visited when it was close to closing time .. I'm sure he had things to do and was ready to go but if he did I sure couldn't tell. He stayed past the working hours to make sure I had everything I needed . “I came in today to remove my refund. The large amount and the process were really easy. The ambassadors were really helpful in getting the whole thing done. I was treated with care and respect because my foot was broken. I had amazing coffee from the batistas. I mean, their coffee is made better than starbucks. The vanilla ice coffee is out of this world. They really help you to maximize your day. The atmosphere is really welcoming not too bright and the seating is really comfortable. I felt relaxed and not what are you doing in here. You can go to the booth to count large amounts of cash if you also need to do that as well. “I really like this bank. The customer service is on point. I get good interest loans and they have an array of financial products that I've used and really like. I moved my money here after realizing that Wells Fargo is not for this community. They have people lined up outside the bank every morning in long lines trying to get service. That is so disrespectful and if you need to see a banker you have to make an appointment and wait days and weeks to handle your money situation. That is really unacceptable. I've called and they have NO intention on changing these disrespectful practices. That just told me that they are not taking me or my money seriously. I have not had ANY of these problems at School's First.”

“My husband and I were in Santa Monica and we wanted to work out of a cafe. With a quick yelp search, we found a capital one cafe nearby ! The ambiance was very welcoming and we were able to get a private nook and were able to get some work done. Luckily my husband had a capital one venture X card so we decided to utilize the benefits and got our beverages for 50% off. I got their lavender honey latte and my husband got the mocha. We also got a chocolate croissant. I was super excited about the lavender latte, given it is my favorite flavor. My husband really liked his coffee. Mine was nice too but it was not as hot as I would have liked it to be unfortunately. The croissant was very average and we ended up discarding it because it was cold and eggy. However, given how nice this place is for the ambiance and the coffee, I think I would still recommend checking it out, especially if you are looking to work out of a cafe and need some privacy!”
