I love this place!!My sister is a volunteer here.I walked in, and had not planned on adopting an animal. I was still grieving the loss of my cat who was stolen from me.Then, I went into the giant cat room. 3 cats stole my heart! Cher was a 6 year old who I fell in love with. I was told that she might not do well with dogs. Then I met Donny, and adorable 3 year old. But again, they weren’t sure how he would react with a dog. Then I met Ponzu (now named Fonzie because she is a cool cat). These cats have everything they could ever want and more in the cat room. It truly is a paradise!Adopting my cat from this place was actually fun, once I got through the paperwork. It is like a giant pet museum.Watching the pet shows with their adoptable pets is fun. They treat their volunteers well, from what I have heard, and the staff are friendly and made the adoption process really fun!The pets there are truly their passion. They create photos and learn the personality of each pet before they are able to be adopted. The price of goods in their pet store are incredible and inexpensive compared to regular pet stores. This place doesn’t gouge you for last minute purchases.Thank you Wallis Annenberg Pet Space for making such a unique and fun way to adopt a pet.Oh and did I mention the GIANT slide in the middle of the lobby?? They were getting ready to close, so I didn’t get to go down the slide. But I will be back! I don’t care if a woman is in her 50’s, we still enjoy slides! Please save a pet and visit Pet Space, or any rescue or ASPCA to save an animal. Don’t buy from breeders!

We love this place. All the animals there are in such good hands. They rehabilitate dogs and adopt them. We need more places like the Annenberg PetSpace. We enjoy visiting them while in the neighborhood.

I adopted my forever furry Lab/Terrier, Samoa Stone from here. He chose me and we sealed the deal. My niece attended their camp and introduced us. Beautiful campus and staff. Thanks for making my adoption simple and worthwhile!!

Went to Wallis Annenberg Pet Space last week with our Girl Scout Troop. David Bard, the Education and Programs Coordinator there, helped coordinate a date for the girls to earn their Animal Helpers Badge. They were very organized and used to working with Scouts. They also sold badges and fun patches for event. It was a thorough and interactive program and excellent value. The girls could not stop talking about how much they loved it there. There is a fun human hampster wheel and slide they also enjoyed. Sean and Eric did an outstanding job with the girls and we were so appreciative!

Annenberg PetSpace is an incredible community resource offering a pet store, monthly puppy yoga (when they have puppies that are being cared for), wonderfully caring staff and volunteers, and opportunities to feed and play with rescue pets. Also, what a beautiful facility! I went there recently with a friend’s family. We hung out in the upstairs kitten room with a staff member, and my friend ended up adopting the sweetest kitten. A couple of the Annenberg staff said that they are always looking for good people willing to foster.

I adopted two kittens here, they work on a first come first serve basis, so if you see a animal you want on their adoption list website than come early and be there first, you should be there before they open and wait by door patiently and kindly , they are great people and do a good job caring for animals. Any animal you get here will be doing great!

I’m really impressed how it’s well maintained and managed. I even believe some pets could be better off living here than their new home!

This place was actually really fun! I took my four year-old nephew who loves animals. I didn’t really know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. On the first floor they have some “exotic animals“ that included snakes and turtles, birds and guinea pigs. On the second floor they have cats and dogs that are available for adoption. I went on a Friday and it was relatively empty which was nice because we got to explore without getting in anyone’s way. I was told by the staff that Saturdays was the best day to come and explore the Annenberg’s pet space. They have arts and crafts, story time, and other activities for kids on Saturdays. They have this really cool human sized hamster wheel can run on which my nephew really liked and they also have a cat play room where you can snuggle and pet kitties who are available for adoption. I look forward to my next visit

*Smitten by so many Kittens* PetSpace in Playa Vista is an amazing place and thanks to the generosity of the Annenberg family, it serves a beautiful purpose for our feline friends in need of adoption. There's dogs here too but I'm a cat-man dude and my wife & I enjoy coming here when we're missing our previous cat who passed away. She still hasn't gotten over our loss, but I have and been ready for a new kitten, so off we go to KittyLand and every time here my wife gets one step closer to her willingness to adopt. We came here this past Sunday of the recent Thanksgiving weekend and warmly greeted by Shawn. He asked what we were looking for and told us as soon as someone was available, they'd introduce us to all the kittens. Within in minutes, Patrick, came over and took us to a room full of the cutest & most playful kitties we've seen in a long time. This was our 4th time here since 2019 and usually there's none...maybe 1 or 2 kittens. But on this day there were 7 and we were in seventh heaven. Prior to arrival we had our eye on one kitten in particular that we scouted out on their website but the second we entered the room, this sweet & beautiful kitty came right up to me and nuzzled my feet. And then all it took was one look and I was smitten by this kitten. At one point I had 4 affectionate, loving and playful kittens on my lap at the same time and one of the Siamese kitten's planted itself while the other 3 fought for my attention. But that beautiful little tabby kitten was still calling my name. She's the absolute cutest and even crawled into my wife's purse and by that point, for the first time in a while, she had second thoughts about being ready for a new cat. PetSpace is a magical place and makes me feel like a kid again. Speaking of which, kids can have Birthday parties here and there was one going on downstairs in the play/party room. There's lots to do & see while here and also a room with hamsters, guinea pigs, reptiles and birds. There's even a little gift shop and pet food & toys too. PetSpace is only open Weds-Sunday from 11am-4pm so plan accordingly. There's a public parking lot where they're located that's usually free depending on the day & time. I must say, Patrick & Shawn were truly amazing and not only does it show that they love animals, it's apparent they enjoy their work and meeting new people (and talking sports with me :)If you're a cat & dog lover and haven't been to PetSpace before, it's a must see & pet space for everyone.
