Great little, female-owned studio that does Pilates right, ie they focuses on form and precision of movement to build strength and flexibility.

Clean, cute studio in Culver City. Easy to use reformers. Robin was great. Will definitely come back.

The Body Process is the MOST INCLUSIVE, the most adorable and beautiful space to practice pilates. The instructors are knowledgeable! I have been practicing what I thought was pilates for years, but boy was I wrong! Shoutout to Danielle P and Megan! This is woman-owned and I love the studio. I like a mix of taking privates and classes. I'm a loyal fan, forever!

I've been taking private sessions here since January and all of the instructors I've worked with (Danielle, Dayanara, Michelle) are wonderful. The one thing they have in common is their ability to meet me where I'm at without any judgement. Magen, the owner, is always kind and goes above and beyond to accommodate my schedule changes whenever possible. Privates happen at their new location off Centinela where parking is easy and the studio itself feels fresh, clean and intimate. I look forward to checking out the group classes at the studio on Culver soon!

I love the Body Process! My review is going to be mostly about my experience with the studio vibe itself since there are already lots of other accurate reviews talking about how amazing the workout and instructors are (it's true!) As a latina, I have struggled to find a workout community (specifically within the pilates world) where I feel like I belong/fit in/ and don't stick out like a sore thumb. I have done Lagree pilates before and wanted to find a more "traditional" pilates studio to compliment my workout routine. When I took my first couple of classes at The Body Process I was sooo pleasantly surprised at the diversity this gem attracts. All of the classes I have taken have had such a wide variety of students (ages, levels, sizes, ethnicities) that it truly felt like such a breath of fresh air to not feel awkward taking a class in a room filed with your "typical" idea of pilates clientele! Although this may not be important to some, it was so amazing to me and that's what keeps me coming to this studio! The instructors are awesome, but the community, simplicity, and unpretentiousness of it all are what make this studio such a safe space for EVERYONE. So if you feel hesitant to try out pilates because you're worried "you won't fit in" and/or you wanna try it out at a chill, welcoming, diverse environment, THIS is your place!

Here's the run down:I have a ballet background and I've been looking to be a member of a local Pilates studio. I've been with this studio for about 2 months now and I'm in love! My favorite instructors Miku and Michelle are kind and very informative with instructions and making adjustments as needed. My experience with the clientele has been positive (not catty like other Pilates studios that can create a mean girl crowd). I used to work/practice at at the club Pilates in Culver City and that place was a nightmare from overcharging clients, downright disrespectful instructors, poor management, and unkind members. The Body Process is nothing like that, and truly is such a special community where I always feel welcomed and comfortable while I practice. Payoff: I've been regularly going to Pilates three times a week alongside a clean diet and I stay pretty consistent on a caloric deficit. (Trying to shave off that Covid weight) I've lost over 20 pounds in the past 2 1/2 months and I'm obsessed! My abs even came back! Finally found a meaningful exercise, that is helping me stay lean (back to my ballet body!) and advance my flexibility, strength, and balance. So happy and grateful to be part of this community!

I am so so so impressed by this Pilates studio. It's impeccable clean and well decorated. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable. Instead of just keeping you in shape, it feels like they are healing your body. I especially love Mika, she's so sweet and seems to be really attentive. She corrects my form and makes my body feel so amazing the next day! Her workouts are definitely hard but worth it.

So happy I found The Body Process. I have a dance background with many years of practicing Pilates behind me. I've been on the search for a studio that's not Lagree with a focus on safe and correct movement technique. The owner Magen and her staff are extremely knowledgeable and very experienced. I've taken from at least 4 instructors so far, and they are all top notch. This is the real deal when it comes to Pilates. The variety they offer is great too! From Build classes focused on building on top of different skills, Amplify to level up your practice, Jump which incorporates a jump board attached to the end of your machine, Restorative classes, and Private sessions, this place has it all.I found them through ClassPass which only allowed me to take from a few class offerings but once I signed up as a unlimited member, so many more were offered to me. I highly recommend supporting this small business with a membership but understand not everyone has the financial means to do so. My point is that it's worth it.The studio is beautiful and clean, and they take very specific safety precautions for Covid which I appreciate very much. All class attendees are required to have a proof of vaccination on file and masks are 100% adhered to.Parking can be found behind the building or on the street - both for free. Or you can grab a metered spot on the street as well. Come a little bit early just in case.I'm such a big fan of this studio and couldn't be more grateful to have found my studio!

(Translated by Google) Superb Pilates class with Magen who is a fantastic coach: a lovely welcome, a professional and very educational class. The studio is very nice with no mirrors on all sides. You are on your own and that's great. Best class I did in LA at different studios. We feel surrounded and surrounded. Replaced if necessary. We come out all too well with the desire to return very soon. Long live the Body process. Longue vie à the Body process. ???

I've done mat and reformer Pilates (and Lagree...which isn't truly Pilates, but Pilates based) on and off since 2005ish. I have never found a studio so welcoming and warm as The Body Process! With now being completely unable to run, I've amped up my Pilates practice and oh man....has this been the perfect place to do it. The instructors truly, truly care about form and if you have injuries--many other studios I've been to, this has, unfortunately, not been the case. They are all motivating and kind, with some humor thrown in. The space itself is lovely--clean lines, open space, with the reformer and privates section separated. I started kicking back up my Pilates practice here at the end of September...and oh boy, have I seen a change in my body, in so many ways. Not only do I look leaner and taller (also, hello abs I haven't seen since Pre-Covid) but my aches and pains are way less--a godsend, considering I am attempting to push off knee replacement surgery, as long as I can. The Body Process is stuck with me, as a monthly client, for the foreseeable future! Just adding in--the studio absolutely does require vaccinations and they have fantastic sanitary protocols in place. Not sure what the review below that stated otherwise is talking about!

I moved to Culver City last year and since things started opening up, have been trying various studios around the area to find the best fit. I found it! The body process is awesome! All instructors have such great motivational energy, attentive to each person, & make you feel welcome no matter what your experience is. It's a beautiful space, clean, safe & such a great workout - looking forward to getting back into movement, gaining strength & confidence. Thank you BP!
