Constantly delivers to wrong address, and will postpone deliveries by sending you a notification saying that they attempted drop off, but they always lie. I work from home and have a camera on my door; they NEVER attempt drop off when they send the notification. Mailmen, you have ONE job. Do it right.

I visit my local Placerville office regularly & am impressed with their helpfulness, professionalism & overall community asset. The incredible amount of work they perform daily is daunting but I’ve never experienced anything but a positive encounter. Yes, sometimes you have to wait, just like ALL government agencies, be kind, be patient & grateful for all they do.

The USPS Letter Carrier did not attempt a delivery of parcel to my home! So instead I received a FINAL notice to pick up my parcel ASAP even though this was a first attempt by the USPS to attempt a delivery the parcel to me!.
It’s amazing UPS,FedEx andl other delivery companies deliver to my front door.It seems the USPS cannot be bothered!!

Placerville post office needs to get rid of the rude lady working there. LARK is her name. I come up there weekly bc the post office can't seem to do their job... (DELIVER MY MAIL) Today I forgot my ID and she wouldn't give me my package. She is the only person there who won't. I've even been there before to pick up and she's said my package wasn't there. She has no business in customer service, especially a post office. LARK needs to go!!! I will not be coming back, so if you can't deliver my mail, send it back. The reason my package couldn't fit in my box is because I had 2 more packages in there that weren't even mine! Placerville post office can't deliver mail correctly either!!

They don't deliver mail. It's literally the primary purpose of the US Postal Service and this post office just doesn't do it. They'll say "attempted delivery" but they don't actually try. They lose packages all the time. The few that do arrive come damaged. You get a lot of other peoples mail, from neighbors often miles away. Not sure what's going on over there, but it's not postal service.

The delivery and pick up system for packages is a nightmare and several of the employees have attitude. Makes me feel terrible every time I visit. :(

I have waited 5 days now for a big package that the post office “says” it was delivered 5 days ago! I have searched everyday for it, to no avail. I have tried time after time to call the post office. I go through all the promps and wait for the connect. It rings a few times, then hangs up on me. Where is my package?? If I drive all the way into the post office, I will wait in a very long line, with way too few people working the counter, only to have someone casually walk to the back, then come back without my package only to tell me to wait some more, and hopefully it’ll show up. Hopefully??? Your website SAID IT WAS DELIVERED. TO WHERE? Do you just tell us that it was delivered to us from AMAZON, so that Amazon meets their determined delivery dates, and you, the POST OFFICE, look good to Amazon, but then you, the post office never get around to actually delivering on time my packages??? I find that fraudulent practice. This is NOT the first time that this has happened to me. One time it took almost 2 weeks to get my packages.
This is the worst post office and nothing is done about it. Shame on whoever is dropping their responsibility for this office. You need to be replaced!!!

Do not waist your time with the Walk-in option for passports. Waited from 07:00 AM(after being told the day before by an employee to queue up at that time) to hear at 08:30 the next day (from the same exact employee) that they will only process the first 4 people, for the allotted 1 hour. I was the 5th or 6th in line. Nobody informs you that they only take in an x amount of people, regardless of how early you’ve been showing up on the day of. The attitude of the employee was very unprofessional and confrontational. Save your time and go to the City of Roseville for an organized, and pleasant experience instead.

Literally just complete liars. They’ll tell us that they tried to deliver a package, only for us to go in person and find out it was never even put on the truck. Every time we get a package, it shows up late- and not like an understandable few hours, like DAYS late. I truly don’t understand how this level of inefficient service is possible ?

I've lived in Placerville for almost 29 years, and can honestly say we have the worst, most dysfunctional postal service of all the many places I've lived. We regularly get mail that isn't ours. Amazon deliveries take at least a day or two longer than in even rural areas of our county. We have a different carrier every day. They regularly ruin books I order by shoving them in my locked box even though they don't really fit.I personally witnessed a postal employee, who it turned out was the manager at the time, walk halfway down my sidewalk and unceremoniously throw a package down, instead of walking the extra 10 feet to put it on my covered deck.I know the U.S. Postal Service is struggling now, but other post offices still seem to manage to do a decent job of fetting mail to customers.I'm almost ready to pay for a private box and drive somewhere to get my mail. Still hoping a competent person comes in to turn this mess around!

I never saw a PO so dysfunctional as this one in my life. They are not friendly and it’s always chaotic and disorderly. Rudeness is their middle name. I hate entering this PO because I know they’re going to ruin my day.
