“He did a great job doing a full rebuild on my Nv 4500 in my 01 Dodge Cummins. when there were small problems with the shifter after I got it back, he took time out of his Saturday to accommodate my work schedule (which is the same hours as his shop) and made sure I was taken care of in a timely manner. You may not get the cheapest price in town, but the decades of experience between him and his crew, as well as the warranty he provides are worth every penny. Great guy. Highly recommend.”

Ok well would rather not have to come here, but you know what I mean haha The guys here are awesome, completely fair in everything, will explain it all to you. “Incredible service!! On my way back from Tahoe my truck overheated on 50 east of Forni Rd. I'm stranded on the side of the freeway with my 7-year-old son and towing my boat. I decide to let it cool and try again. We got as far as Missouri Flat Rd and pulled over again. Luckily, I ended up at Hangtown Affordable Auto Repairs front door (thank God). They were busy working on other repairs but knowing we were stranded they took me right in and in a couple of hours we were back on the road. Oh, this was a Friday at 1pm. Awesome people and perfect repair. Thanks again guys!!”

“Called Durabuilt Transmissions because the transmission in my 2016 Ford Escape was slipping recently (occasionally). They said to bring it in right away, and they would diagnose the problem. By noon, they called back to tell me it checked out, and they could not replicate the problem. I asked if they could change the trans fluid because it was at 66,000 miles and likely needed it. They agreed and did it and the diagnoses for a very reasonable price.”
