Would 100% recommend! Dr. Kennedy is hands down the best vet we’ve ever had. In treating our two elderly dogs he always took the time to thoroughly discuss their complicated medical conditions with us to determine the best treatment plan as their conditions changed. We also found him to be very practical when recommending treatment and most importantly very compassionate.

We feel truly lucky to have found Dr. Kennedy and his team at Smith Flat Animal Hospital. They take such good care of our pup and we always feel heard and welcome when working with them. 10/10 recommend.

Dr. Kennedy was very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, his front staff treated us so poorly we will never go back. We were barely acknowledged when we first arrived for our appointment. A woman said to her coworker in a very negative tone, "oh, it's a Pug, you didnt say it was a Pug" and proceeded to review her records. After minutes of uncomfortably standing there, the woman said hi to our Pug (not to us) and walked into an exam room. I asked if we were supposed to follow her, she said no, that she was preparing the room. Minutes later she yelled from room, "you can come back now!" Bad start.
During the visit the Vet was wonderful. Dr. Kennedy commented on how sweet our Pug was, complimenting her personality and demeanor. His assistant/tech, however, wasn't as kind. She spoke to us as if we toddlers. Was she having a bad day? Also, we paid for a nail trim for our Pug- her nails were barely clipped, some weren't even done at all! When I asked the assistant/tech to clip them shorter, she acknowledged they were still quite long, yet refused to clip them shorter and suggested we buy her a sandpaper treat trap. Uhm, what!!?? ... we paid for a service which you failed to provide and on top of that we were treated terribly from start to finish. It's staggering that such a kind doctor has such a rude staff.

We love it here. We have 3 dogs, all small/medium sized, and all, shall I say, “special snowflakes”…Dr. Kennedy and his whole staff are knowledgeable, kind, patient, and very skilled at explaining things so anyone can understand. Their pricing is reasonable and I’ve never felt pressured or rushed.

I am so happy Sir Mozey and I found Smith Flat Animal Hospital.Mozey had some bad experiences at other places so I truly appreciate the patience and understanding to accommodate Mozeys need to ‘beeline’ in and out of a room!I can’t say enough how grateful I am to have Dr Kennedy and staff for their care

Smith Flat Animal Hospital has been the veterinarian office my family has taken our animals to for years and is the only place I feel comfortable taking our pets. Dr. Kennedy is very good at what he does and throughly explains all options and possibilities, our family loves Dr. Kennedy and all the staff. I highly recommend this vet for your family pets.

Used to be great. Not sure what has happened there, but understaffed seems part of it. I've been a client for 20 years but am going to switch. Booked weeks out, and if you have an emergency forget it.
