Don't trust these people with your appointment. I made mine and confermed it.they not only never called me . They hide in a corner from the lobby so you can't see them or talk to them When they call next patient. totally Rigged !

Whenever I've made an appointment, there was almost no wait time. Staff is kind and quick!

I'm basing my review on how Quest Diagnostics compares to the other alternative labs in my area. The other lab is faster and opens earlier, which are the two major reasons for my 4-star review and not a 5-star. I will say that they have never messed up a lab, and all of my philobotanists were good at their jobs. Quest is very professional and clean, too.

I do not like that everything has to be done online or by phone menus. You cannot reach a human by phone. I even submitted a question several days in advance, and got no response which was frustrating. Give me a human!

I was very nervous going in there. But I hate getting my blood work done don't matter what place. I made an appt, was seen 2 mins later. The lab test was very nice and was very skilled. Even better then the lab people at Kiser. She took 7 viles. All the staff was nice. Place clean. Very small but I'm used to Kiser. I deffenly had a good exsperence. Comming from a person with a phobia of needles. I just told her exactly where ti get the best pook and she did perfect.

I had URGENT labs the doctors office sent twice. I went to the lab at 9:30 am. After 1 hour my name was called. I asked 3 times would I get the results by 2 pm that day because I had a surgery the following morning at 9 am. I was assured that I would indeed get the results quickly because it was marked URGENT. At 3:30 whenthe lab closed I still had not gotten my results and had to cancel my surgery. No one answered the phone when I tried to call either.

I asked my UC Davis Dr. if I could use Quest Diagnostics. Certainly. I Just had to tell them the FAX number of the location and they will send the order. However, I couldn't find anywhere on the website or the phone recording what the FAX number was. So I had to drive to Folsom from Placerville to have my lab work completed. Either they don't have a FAX or they don't need the business.

Worst possible place to get a lab test. Walk in appointments are rarely available and they don't tell you that in advance. Then if you make an appointment while at their office there is no way to change or cancel it with a phone call or by going online - you have to physically go back to their office. So that makes TWO wasted trips to their office! Try calling their customer service number (530) 295-8329 and you will see there is no representative you can talk to to change or cancel appointments. The final insult is that a patient cannot call Quest in Placerville to see if a lab test you need is available or not before making an appointment. So if it isn't (e.g. the H. pylori test was not available on June 6, 2022) the patient would have wasted yet another trip! The Marshall Hospital Lab in downtown Placerville and at Cameron Park doesn't have these problems, plus you get your lab results the same day.

I'll never go back. They were unorganized and understaffed. The staff was unfriendly. I was willing to wait since I didn't have an appt. but after waiting 1 1/2 hours and staff not checking back with me for some sort of update as to when I might be able to get in I left. Total waste of time.

Had a choice of using Marshall labs or Quest but chose Quest as they had on-line appointments. I had been to Quest before and never had to wait long. I arrived at my appointment on time to find a half dozen people ahead of me and only three chairs in the room. After a half hour, I finally was seen. I'm not sure what the point is of offering appointment times. Are they overbooking or just taking walk-ins as they arrive?

I have been using quest for a long time, and my last experience allowed me to get in before my appointment and make a meeting i had forgot about. They had me in and out in 5 min and it was able to get what i needed relatively painless. Pardon the pun. It's not always perfect, but some days everything just goes correctly.

This place is always problematic. Today was the proverbial straw. I went in for my appointment as scheduled. I was 10 minutes early. I checked in electronically and sat on the floor, as there were only three chairs in the waiting room, with about five or six patients(mostly elderly) standing or sitting on the floor. 20 minutes after my appointment, without seeing an employee or hearing a patient called, I left. This will effect my doctor's appointment, but I don't care. This is no way to treat customers of any business. I will not be back.

My experience at the quest diagnostics Lab was awful ! I had appointments all day long for Marshall and yet I had to deal with standing around and waiting for the receptionist at the lab to learn how to multitask, she was on the phone on hold with someone but she couldn’t take care of anybody else in the office. I was told all I had to do was walk in for a urine sample, I didn’t need an appointment but yet I spent 45 minutes to 50 minutes through the whole process of trying to get that urine specimen done!
