“We inherited Kamps propane service when we bought our retirement home in Shingle Springs almost 5 years ago. Service has always been outstanding, with friendly delivery drivers, office staff, etc., but we had an incident occur last Friday late afternoon that really showed us what a great company this is. At 5:00 PM on a Friday, you might expect to not be able to reach anyone, let alone have the boss respond immediately. Due to a malfunctioning transmitter, Kamps was unaware that our main heating and cooking tank was low, and it went completely empty. Temperatures that night were forecast to be in the 30s, and my wife was in the middle of cooking when the oven quit running. I called the office, got a very friendly receptionist, and within minutes I got a call from Roger, the manager of the Placerville office. He arrived at our place within an hour, filled up the tank, replaced the faulty transmitter, pressure tested everything, then went about relighting all the pilots. We were fully back in business that evening thanks to the excellent customer service Roger and his team provided. Kamps Propane is the best!”
