“This is a really neat hardware store with all sorts of things in it. They have your typical hardware items, cleaning supplies, kitchen stuff, gold panning equipment, home decorations, and so many other things. I'm not sure I've even been able to see everything in this store. There are so many separate little areas with more things! Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is clean. Seasonal items available. (e.g. chestnuts) Well worth a visit, it you have the time.”

“I wish I would've gotten the lady's name that helped me but she went above and beyond to get me the feed that I needed. She called in some "muscle" to dig down through a stack of feed in the back to get me the last bag they had. Then she took me to the customer service desk and ordered feed especially for me. I am truly thankful and so sorry I didn't get her name to give her the credit she deserves.”

Pretty small group, knowledgeable, and helpful. I will always go here before home Depot. I don't care if it costs 5 cents more.”

“This is an excellent hardware store, with friendly helpful people and a good place to shop.It is not a good place to have lawn equipment repaired. I purchased a John Deer mower from Home Depot that has been set up by True Value and for the first year struggled starting it. I eventually discovered that the battery was undersized and the terminals had never been properly tightened.Last summer it took five weeks to get a drive belt replaced, and it cost a lot more money than I’d ever have guessed. The mower broke down yesterday and again, it’s four weeks before they can look at it. I contacted Sears Home Service this morning. They came this afternoon and fixed the mower at a very reasonable price. Admittedly, the same day service was a lucky fluke but the moral of the story is that you don’t have to be stuck in lawn mower purgatory for a month. Call Sears.”

“I just have to say thank you, thank you for being an honest company. I'm sorry I do not have the name of the man that helped us at this location. But he will know our story. We have been through a lot in the last week. We purchased a water heater through Lowes in Folsom all to install it and find out that it did not work. Lowes refused to return the unit even though their return policy is clear. After how horribly we were treated by so many different Lowes employees we were left in a bind. No one had water heaters and we lost our installer because he had other jobs. Two small children were bathed in cold water because Lowes refused the return and refused to exchange the defective water heater. We got lucky that Ferguson happened to have a water heater! When we got there we were informed it was dented. We were automatically offered a discount because of its condition. When we unboxed it later that night unfortunately it was damaged in four other spots as well. Bummed! Overwhelmed! But the man that helped us went above and beyond! He ordered us a new one and even though we have to wait it's just the actual genuine concern from them that really matters! They didn't second guess returning it either like Lowes! So I would hope this reaches someone above to see that in this day and age compassion and integrity still go a long way! And we are very grateful and appreciative to the man that showed us kindness and went above and beyond to help us!”

“This place is So Awesome! I walked in wanting (needing) some steel for 2 horseshoe stakes (I'm building horseshoe pits in my backyard) and even tho he was busy as heck, I walked out 20mins later with exactly what I needed. Great Experience! Highly recommend them!!!”

“It's easier to appreciate Home Depots in general if you go in without expectations. ? The Placerville home depot is better than any other I've been in as far as the staff being friendly and answering questions.Like all Home Depots, you might have a hard time trying to find lumber that isn't warped, but if you spend a few minutes sorting through it, you can generally find something acceptable.”
