I hate this frickin' branch. They never have enough people working and they are all so rude. They denied my 93 year old wheelchair bound father use of the bathroom - had to leave and go next door to Mel's. Been a BofA customer since 1972 and this branch alone makes me want to switch banks. I'd give it zero stars if I could. I won't go back - will drive to Cameron Park instead

Nobody EVER, EVER answers the phone. When I go into this Bank of America in Placerville, it has NEVER been so crowded that employees can’t answer the phone. But everytime you call & click to speak with a representative at THIS location, it tells you “all associates are busy helping other customers right now, sorry, goodbye!” then hangs up on you. So you have no choice but to call customer service, wait an hour just to speak to some random representative in another state who is typically unable to help you. It is very nerve wracking. I also deposited a check 2 weeks ago, I was told by a representative that once the other bank clears the check that’s when my money will be released. The other bank cleared it, and it STILL hasn’t been released. I’ve been waiting ages. If I could give no stars I would!

Does not answer the phone and their phone, line will not allow you to wait for someone it just hangs up on you. I've called 15 times so far today. Double checked all during business hours

I got a speeding ticket on my way to bank of america. I got to the bank at 330 and the doors were already locked. I could see people in there. On line it says that they would be closing soon. I needed to cash this check to have money to rent the equipment that I need to finish the job. And it looks like they closed early but still say open online. So I got a speeding ticket for no reason....I did not get to cash my check.)

They delayed the canceling of a check for 5 days, and charged me over a hundred dollars in overdrafts! They refused to refund most of the overdrafts, and said I would have to sue to get my money back...

Holly and the rest of the staff are awesome. I always look forward to bank visits here. This isn’t a review of Bank of America and its policies but of the service and experience in this specific location.

Lines are long with only one -two tellers working. In the past year several branches have been closed for days and we were not able to deposit for our business. This past week "due to circumstances beyond our control the bank is closed." I have even had them close and lock the doors early. When I came back the next day I was told it was because too many people were in line and as it was, they had customers until 4:15. I worked in retail for years and we never locked customers out before the closing of our business hours. Our company is looking for another bank.

If you don't have an account with them they charge more than a typical check cashing place! Fees, fees and more! This is a racketeer run by corporate scoundrels..

My husband went to the bank with a check written on a Bank of America Draft from his sister. She has given my husband checks in the past as they are part of a settlement. The bank refused to cash it. Dillon, the clerk said they won't do it. Dillon didn't check with anyone but was adamant about the fact that they don't do it. Now it would seem to me that they could have checked the account holders account and could have reached out to the account holder. But they did neither, the answer was just no. If banks do not wish to cash checks written by their customers to give to others, then they should stop issuing checks for their customers to use and find another way to conduct business. Afraid of fraud? Bank of America and Wells Fargo are two of the biggest perpetrators of fraud that there is in banking. Go figure.

Customer service is not their strength. I come in at lunch time, frequently. Without fail, there will only be one teller working customer service. Another teller will be standing there counting money as the line gets longer and longer. Meanwhile, the manager sits at her desk trying to look important and busy, instead of lending a hand or showing leadership and telling the other teller to help customers. Accurate transactions are also not their strength, as I made a cash deposit that was held as credit for several days, preventing me from paying my invoices on time. Consistency is not their strength either. I make a cash deposit and one teller will ask for my ID, while another won't. One teller will allow the transaction with my personal address, the other will make me put in the business address. If I had a choice of banks, it wouldn't be this one, but it is my only option for my business. Sadly. I'd really like to never enter this branch again.
