Two experiences here so far and both have been great! I needed some brand new bills for the holiday season and Lunar new year. The first time I walked in and waited in line to ask a teller, second time I walked up to a banker and inquired. Both times they asked the service manager and she said yes!! New bills are hard to come by so I was really glad that they had some in the cash vault. Here's a few do's and don'ts to make your banking experience better. Do - Look at your phone, go on social media do whatever the heck you do when you're not standing in a bank line and you'll be just fine. Expect to wait, there's usually 2 tellers on the line. Use online banking for your wire transfers, it's easier than you think. The amount of paperwork and signatures are unnecessary when you see a banker- for you and for them. Be considerate to the banking team, they don't make the rules they just follow them. Don't- Be mad, huffing and puffing that you're waiting in line to deposit a check that could have been done on your mobile app or at the drive up ATMs. Give the tellers a hard time bc you want to take out cash that could've been done at the ATMs. Walk in expecting to see a banker for a new account opening that can easily be done on line.

Been with Wells Fargo since 1995-almost 30 years. I received an email that they were going to start charging me a service fee. Strange, I've never been charged a service fee before. Anyways, I decided to close my account. My credit score went down. Turns out, I never needed to close it because Military doesn't get charged monthly service fees. They sent bad information to the wrong person. This branch doesn't know their customers. Now I bank at Chase across the street. The end.

Second time I've tried this branch. Waited for assistance and couldn't get help to open a new account. I'll use their drive up atm but won't try to go in again. I couldn't even give them my money. Not impressed!

Came this morning to this branch. I clearly asked Male Asian teller that I was depositing a check for one of my clients. He said he needed permission from another teller(female Latina-wearing white top). She comes over, No Communication between them, and she starts addressing me by my male clients name! They had me sit down. I couldn't wait so I took the check back and I deposited into his account at my go-to branch in Tustin. No hassle, in and out in less the 4 minutes. Please communicate better amongst yourselves so you don't address your customers incorrectly. Please LISTEN to what the customer is asking for as well.

If they spent half the amount of time trying to help you as they do explaining why they can do nothing for you they might be able to get some thing done as far as I can tell this place is useless they can't get anything done they're not allowed to do anything they are just shut it down

We have been at this bank for 30 plus years and this last year has been the worst! It used to be where you could walk in and be greeted by a friendly banker that knew who you were. Not anymore. I don't know if this location is a training branch or they just can't keep employees. Always different tellers/managers now and the wait is Forever! I mean 2 tellers on a Friday at 4:00 and a line out the door almost around the building..really?? If you just want to deposit a check and get in and out... good luck! I always seem to get stuck behind people wiring money to a different country or making a long transaction. What happened to the small business window where you could do your "business" deposits? This bank has defiantly lost what I used to love about them. Unfortunately we will be moving all our accounts elsewhere.

Please never use Wells Fargo old ATM machine if you're going to deposit cash I tried a lot of different branches the old ATM always takes $20 short for example if you deposit $100 cash it only count it $80 But when I use the newest ATM that they have it's very accurate I always deposit cash never be short very fishy so either the guy who picks up the deposit from the ATM play with the old ATM because the new one not easy to play with it that's my suggestion if you want to lose money use Wells Fargo old ATM machines

I was straight up racially profiled by these people today! I tried to cash a check there and I gave them everything they asked for, proper ID in two forms and they called the person that issued me the check to verify the check. The person wasn't available. After making me wait almost 20 minutes the lady manager handed me my check and my ID back in front of other people in the bank which was very embarrassing and told me they can't cash it. I cashed the same check at a different branch recently no problems at all with no verification! I gave them proper ID and they cashed the check for me and there were no issues. I asked the manager why can't you just cash it she said because we have to take precautions so I guess she's accusing me of being a criminal when everyone knows that most people don't commit crimes and it's more likely than not that it was a legitimate transaction that I was attempting to make. If you can't verify the check that's on you. She also asked me what the payment was for and I thought that it was very inappropriate to ask me that because it's really none of her business. Just give me MY money and let me go on my way. I gave you what you asked for ID wise and I expected to get MY MONEY that I worked hard for. The person that issued me the check is very upset with Wells Fargo and I also reported this Branch to the corporate office right after I left the bank without my money!!!! Corporate seemed to be quite interested in my experience there!!! Very unprofessional insulting and racist!!! Not cool at all!!! **Update: I went to the Branch in Santa Ana and they did the same thing. **Update #2 Finally the check was cashed! Wells Fargo in Placentia is straight Trash!! Santa Ana was a little more professional but still not that good. Kudos to the Anaheim Branch on Lincoln and State College they took good care of me. Very professional!!

After a year and three months of the same transaction every month suddenly they won't allow me to assist my 93yr great grandmothers account. Went around to the ATM to do the same exact transaction. please train your staff to be consistent, this is highly unprofessional to wait over a year to suddenly refuse the same exact transaction taken to place over a dozen times.

Today Alondra was so cheerful, classy & helpful, plus provided speedy service. The Placentia branch obviously has a consistent culture of enthusiasm & patience, with a tidy organized appearance - I guess that's professionalism which is appreciated! P.S. thanks for staying open during the quarantine.

I went to this branch and was greeted very warmly by Migh Patterson. She attended to my needs and she's always smiling. She's a model employee who deserves promotion and recognition.

This Wells Fargo location has a wonderful costumer service. I visit this place at least 6times per month to take care of different transactions. I have had assistance from different bank members, though they all are incredibly helpful, and welcoming Mrs. Maria Ramirez leaves me speechless with her kindness, professionalism and efficiency! I walked in to make a claim for a fraudulent charge on my card and she took care of it instantly, helped me through the entire process AND she followed up by calling me to ask if the matter had been resolved.. twice! How amazing is that. Well I have nothing but good things to say about this WF branch.

I've been in business for about 35 years. It's rare that you find someone in the retail banking industry that really know their stuff. DIanne in the business banking business is that rare person. Great communication and follow up, extremely knowledgeable. I was truly amazed. It was a complicated transaction that she worked with us to see it through. Thank you.
