Large U-haul location with a good selection trucks, trailers, and supplies. Parking is a bit tight to navigate and associates could be more friendly.

Useless workers just Point at a qr code and don't help you out at all. They've got everyone struggling with a broken app and website. Went down to home depot instead :)

Rented a trailer for 1 day and was double charged . Called and asked for a refund as it was charged in error. It has been over a week and still no correction. Called several times ! They never answer their phone, had to explain the situation to their customer service. We needed to rent again and visited a different location. What a difference! Don’t rent from uhaul in Placentia

Been waiting in the front for like 10 min finally someone comes out can't even say sorry for the wait .. come out and iam like how are you and all he does is knot his head .. to find out his name Daniel very rude o dk how they have someone like this a manager ... I will take my business alse where .. I rather pay a dollar more for better customer service ...

After reading the poor reviews here I could see the pattern management needs to go.I even made a complaint and nothing was done about this issue. I demanded a credit because I had to go out and find a homeless person in the truck that urinated in the truck they want of me to use. From now on.The truck needs to be locked at night and the manager or assistant needs to inspect the truck before the customer does. This cannot happen again.Nothing was done to Resolve my dispute except having the manager call me and say. I'm sorry you feel that way. I'm not happy and I will not use U haul again

I came in to rent a trailer very close to closing time. Mike was very polite and nice and didn't make us feel rushed. He assisted us with the trailer and was also there to help us when we dropped it off. With so many locations around I will definitely only use this one. Thank you Mike for all your help.

I've been coming here for a LONG time renting trucks and purchasing supplies. ( Not anymore! ) I was returning a van that I rented. I drove up to the return lane and waited patiently for someone to come out and assist me. I could see that they were busy and under staffed. No biggie....it's not the fault of the employees that are there. The signage CLEARLY says to wait there! It was nearly 100 degrees that day, so I stayed in the vehicle with the a/c on. I was on my phone texting my kids letting them know I'd be late. I notice worker Nate assisting the guy BEHIND me!!! I was like what is he doing?!!!! He takes off with that guy and I proceed to get out of the vehicle. I unload my belongings into my car to save time and see that Nate is in the van I returned checking mileage and all of that. I said..... VERY NICELY .... " I don't mean to sound like a " Karen " or a jerk, but why did you take care of the guy behind me first?!!! " He said....and I quote.....well you were inside of the truck and you saw me and you were on your phone! I said I was inside the vehicle for 2 reasons the sign says to WAIT HERE and it's like 1000 degrees outside!! I didn't see you initially because I was texting my family and you could have just knocked on the window to get my attention! He didn't acknowledge ANYTHING I said, became TOTALLY dismissive and said you're checked out...you can GO now!!! Nate was THEE RUDEST, MOST ARROGANT, FULL OF HIMSELF worker I have EVER dealt with!!! As a faithful customer for many years it left a VERY bad taste in my mouth!!! As a business it's important to remember that people can go ANYWHERE!!! There are MANY U-hauls around to go to!!! The best way to lose a customer is to be treated like garbage from one of your employees!

Horrible experience, only one person working on the weekend who was rude and unprofessional, reported him to corporate. Would avoid this location for any uhaul rentals, other locations have much better customer service.

Charged extra for the cargo van. Website estimate stated 0.59 $ per mile. I was charged 0.89 $ per mile. Not at all acceptable. Lure customers in with a low estimate on the website for the rental and then charge extra when they arrive, because they already have made plans, and U Haul knows the customer has no other option than to pay the extra money.

Check your receipt, I was charge for a dolly that I never rented and there was none in the truck either. FAKE CHARGES BEING APPLIED.

Terrible customer service , rude people , one person working on the week ends , Renting trucks ,do returns and cashier . Waited 20 min to return a truck nobody showed up finally left the keys and left .

I go here frequently for boxes and shipping supplies, like bubble wrap and foam peanuts. They have a very good selection of quality boxes and shipping supplies. I have only rented a truck here once and that for a school band event. There was no issue, and it went smoothly. The issues I have encountered are a long wait to check out and being blocked in in the parking lot. With a couple of boxes in my hand, there is no special line. You have to wait behind the half dozen people renting trucks and stand there for a long time while they fill out the rental stuff, show IDs, decide what coverages they want, go over the rules, ...etc. I wish there was a supply checkout line or self checkout for those of us that just need a few quick things. The other issue is parking. It fills up quickly. I have always parked in a marked parking spot and been blocked in a few times by people parking behind me to get propane. They won't move and no one working there tells them to either. The propane delivery truck blocked me once and I waited forever. So other than parking and buying two boxes takes 45-60 minutes or so, I have no real complaints.

Bought a UHaul propane tank new here and the gauge isn't accurate. The gauge quickly went to empty after first couple uses but I still had more than half the tank left. I knew because I was able to griddle multiple burger events while the gauge needle hit the empty stop. I took this back to this Uhaul store that I bought it from and they wouldn't replace or refund me. They said that their gauges are known to not work after 3 uses. That is complete garbage response and product, the gauge is the whole reason why I bought the Uhaul propane tank. They should remove the gauge or reduce the price because having the gauge that is meant to fail after 3 uses is misleading. Manager wouldn't replace it even though I explained it was the first use. They should have a disclaimer that the gauge doesn't even work because this is the whole reason why I would even consider buying it in order to know when to fill it again before next cook. I bought a flame king propane tank from Costco and the gauge works as expected, tells me when the tank is actually empty.
