These kinds of stores remind me of my childhood. Cute items. Workers had decent service. It is a little hot in there but other than that it was fine.

Not happy at all. First of all, it would be nice not to walk into a store and not breath in hot stuffy air with no signs of any airflow. It is actually a cool 69 degrees F right now outside. I felt like I was sitting in a musty car that was sitting out on a warm day with the windows rolled up and the air turned off. All three workers were wearing masks but it still felt like I was breathing in everyones air.If you have read any of my previous posts, I’m usually pretty lenient in my ratings and comments. But I left this store upset and disappointed. I went in to purchase lotto tickets since there are two jackpots currently well above 600 million each. I only had 4 $1 bills at the time. It was just enough for one mega ($2) and one power ($2) ticket. The cashier set the tickets on the table then I placed the money next to them. She picked up the cash and counted proceeded to count. 1,2,3,4. She froze for a moment and motioned the last dollar to me but then stopped. I assumed she figured it out so I walked off. Then I heard her mutter “super” something. As I stepped outside to take in some fresh air, I reviewed the tickets - one Power and one ... Super. Now that made sense why she acted the way she did.I went back into the store to explain assuming she realized what occurred, but she said I was wrong and only gave her $3. That actually shocked me and it took me a moment to understand what was just said to me. I explained to her that I saw her count the dollar bills and that she wanted to hand me back the last dollar. She again said, ”You’re wrong. You’re wrong.” At that point I started raising my voice and told her that “I gave you $4 and you know I did. I don’t want this other ticket. I want what I paid for.” Then she finally took back the Super ticket and gave me the correct one.I would have rated a one star but she did remedy the situation at the end. But serious lady. You straight lied to my face. All that hustle for a dollar? C’mon.
