Love this place on Downtown Placentia. There was a ceramic fish that I saw multiple times walking to my favorite coffee shop that I thought was pretty funky. Decided to support a local business and buy it for a succulent. Really nice staff. Great designs. I like to have a little Japan and a little Mexico represented in our kitchen so this definitely brings some character to our place. Great for gifts!

I've been here numerous times to buy things, but they're never open during their posted store hours. Everything I can find currently says 10 AM to 2 PM. On their FB page, they've been saying that they're open until 4 PM. But I'm currently sitting outside this store, it's after the posted opening time, and once again they're not open. I've been down here in different days, different times of day, and they never seem to be open. I don't get how they can do business like this. I'll update my score if/when I can ever actually find them open.

I've been trying to hit this place for over a year and finally on a recent Saturday lucked out and the door was OPEN!! Staff friendly and so many things to choose from, beautiful jewelry, bags, embroidered clothing, pots, pictures, decor and so much more. I plunked down a bit of cash but got the most exquisite cement turtle for my garden that a beautiful succulent now sits on for $25. Also found a terra cotta half moon wall piece for my niece's new apt garden, she loved it! I want to come back again soon and buy more items! Forget about trucking over to TJ...this is such a gem in Placentia with lots of great authentic restaurants on the block too. Shop local, support our small businesses you won't be sorry.

I encourage Mexican folk art collectors in the nearby area and beyond to shop at this gift shop. Also, if you happen to enjoy rock painting, there is a new book available on Amazon.com called Rock Painting For Kids Mexican Folk Art Style, by Maria Sandoval.
