We were having the hardest time deciding what color to paint our home. We wanted something different but couldn't find it until we met Clint Roy. He is the Color Specialist at Dunn Edward's in Placentia, CA. He has wonderful ideas and picked the right color for us. I definitely recommend Clint's services. He is Awesome and very creative.

Horrible customer service. John lied to me about being able to look up a past order, when other people that have worked there have assisted me with the exact same request before.

If I can leave a negative*I will , the old guy on the right side has some serious bad racist attitude , we are Taiwaness and been there earlier this year when my printer contractor send me there to get simple for our house paint job at that time we pick up 4 simples and have never been ask to pay for it , however this time we went in there and give the old guy my contracted phone # and tell him we need to get few simples for our house again when my wife pick the color and hand it over to him he charges us $20 and I ask him why we have to pay this time he replay because I didn't tell him I Contractors Info which is a lie at that time he was finishing the transaction and told me is only $20 and I told him too late he already made up his mind want us to pay and I told him is not the money is the principal and I told him first thing I do when I come in is give you my contractors info and you pull it out right away and we even have a conversation. We both know this guy over 30 years.and he told me is too late now to cancelled or refund , then he star walking away , I went to the the other counter n ask for manger the guy listen to what I said and decide give me refund ! Is not the money is how he try to force me to pay $20 ! He has a bad day May be consider his age he should be more understanding as a employee n not try to treat people differently ! Will never go back again and if u do have a choice go to other locations. This old guy is unbelievable.

I am a Do-it-yourselfer and restore a lot of cool old antiques. I did my research online before visiting Dunn Edwards and found I wanted their "Straight to metal" paint.I took a piece of the antique with me to the store. I was helped as soon as I walked in, and they color matched the piece perfectly. The paint went on easy and settled on the piece beautifully. I couldn't be happier, and since the store is just around the corner, I will be back.

Very helpful employees! I checked their prices against Home Depot and weirdly enough, Dunn-Edwards was lower. I purchased a couple of painting items that were on sale but even their regular prices were lower than Home Depot. 90% of my shopping is at Home Depot because I'm handyman but Dunn-Edwards has the best paint that all of the professional painters use. Even though I'm not a painter, I go by the advice of professionals and people I know (who know more than me) and to get my paint from Dunn-Edwards. All of the Dunn-Edwards stores I have visited have all had the same helpful employees, especially given my lack of knowledge.

Stopped in for a quart of paint that this location didn’t have. John helped me to find what I needed. He was very courteous and helpful. Coming from the Midwest, this guy would be considered Iowa nice!

This place is horrible!! I am 36 weeks pregnant and we are painting my baby's nursery so I went here to get paint to touch up a wall in the bedroom. I'm not a painter and don't know the different sheens when it comes to paint so naturally, I asked for help like any customer would. The customer lead Miguel was rude and sassy with me and made me feel uncomfortable with his demeaning tone. He even rolled his eyes at me when he asked me something and I didn't know what the terms meant. There was no need for that type of customer service and I was shocked to encounter this at a paint store of all places. It was so bad that I had to tell him to stop talking to me like that. Usually I would just ignore it. He didn't even apologize or say he didn't mean it and kept being rude. How the eff is he the customer lead?! He must hate his job. Reading the other reviews, it seems like other people have had bad experiences with the staff there too.

The paints are great. The staff - not so much. We asked an employee a few questions about the interior painting process. He said he's worked there for years, but it was clear this is just a register job to him and he doesn't care about the product or industry. He couldn't answer most of our questions. When we asked him about cleaning the walls before painting, he said there was no brochure or anything that said you need to clean the walls. This is false - not only does one of their brochures specifically mention cleaning the walls before painting, they literally have a sign next to the interior paints that says to clean the walls before painting. The only questions he *could* answer were about prices.
