I love the look of Charity’s Closet and how unique the pieces are. Definitely a spot to check out.
However, I’ve observed two situations in which staff spoke to customers in a rude tone.
This has made my shopping experience uncomfortable. Specifically today, March 24th I saw and overheard a staff member being rude to a customer.
Again I am not directly affected, but it would be great if staff could do there job kindly.
Aside from this a great shop.

Wow. Just wow.My first time here, my partner and I found such good pieces. I'll be honest though, we were nervous that we weren't going to find anything because of how small the store looked, but that worry was thrown out the window as I found a beautiful cardigan as soon as I walked in the store. I think we ended up with nine amazing pieces (in great condition) for about $70.And not only is the inventory wonderful, but the staff too. The volunteer that checked us out was absolutely lovely... it was just the cherry on top of all the good finds.

Not baby/stroller friendly. I've never experienced this before and my momma heart kinda hurt not gonna lie. My baby was napping and I had her in a compact stroller. The lady at the register told the lady at the door that strollers weren't allowed. The lady at the door said "I think there's a baby in there." But the lady at the register insisted that my stroller gets checked before and after (totally understandable). They asked me how old my baby was and even peaked in the mesh part to confirm. I took a peek around a little bit but honestly the store isn't stroller friendly at all and I genuinely didn't feel welcome after that experience. Bummer, I'm all about supporting small local businesses like this but don't think I'll come back. Maybe a sign at the front would be helpful for other mommas to avoid the hassle of loading/unloading their babies out of a car seat into a stroller only to be told they're not welcome.

the most wonderful shoes, many with price tag still on, very high end, beautiful gift ware and clothing, men's and women's. Be prepared to stand in line outside store to get in - it is that popular!

Friendly service. Good selection of clothes and housewares. Sweet ladies. Hours are limited, and you may have to wait in line.

Small, sweet, well organized and priced thrift store. I've bought children's and women's clothing, and housewares for myself and as gifts. Merchandise moves so there's always something cute. Open Th-Sun noon-4p. They take donations around the back until 3p. Helpful service. They'll hold what you want, so you have free hands to shop. I come here regularly when in the area

This is a hidden gem in Placentia. They have cool finds for dirt cheap. The store is quite small. They have one fitting room. They have sales with colored tags every week. Really kind employees.

i have been to so many thrift stores but this one is by far my favorite! the pricing is way more affordable compared to savers or goodwill! everything is very organized & clean! very good customer service, the staff was so sweet!

waited outside for fifteen minutes after the posted opening ours while 2 people went in with keys and stared. spending my money elsewhere.

Decent selection and a nice group of ladies running the place. I found a reasonably priced jacket that is in great condition. A variety of small treasures to be had at Charity's closet.
