Pittsburg Winco is best shopped earlier in the morning before the, "Difficult People" get up and shop. The Winco employees are always polite and helpful despite the customers' negative attitudes. The food quality and fresh produce is always on point. Every time I shop closer to noon I see problems and prefer Lone Tree Winco.

Today (May 10, 2024) while shopping at Winco I witnessed the most inhumane act a person can make…
An very advanced age lady (around 75/80 years old) in a wheelchair and her caregiver (around 50-55 years old man) were at the women’s restroom entrance at Wincos trying to enter because the lady wanted to go number two but an African American men and a woman where not letting the caregiver go in with her, the poor lady was at least 75-80 years old and unable to walk or even roll the chair herself. A nice Latin woman offered to go in with her and after they came out I was able to talk to her… she told me the lady had already gone number two on herself because of the two people preventing her and the caregiver to go into the restroom, she help her get clean up and the lady told her she was very embarrassed that a stranger had to clean her up.
I understand the problem with a man in the women’s restroom but this was a special case and should have been handled differently by Winco’s employees. I really hope this lady takes some kind of action for this incident… me, I’m not shopping at Winco anymore.

Good produce. They're meat/seafood department has improved with a better selection. BUT....that Fried Chicken? Is on point!!! I prefer it over KFC, or Popeyes!! Its crispy, juicy, & if you have an air fryer - if you heat it up the next day? It's still juicy. I only eat breasts & wings. NEVER had a dry chicken breast from them!! However..... they're sides in in the glass? Need a complete overhaul. Get better recipes, and stir the or "turn" the food a few times a day. No one wants potato salad thats dark and dry on the top, or a pea salad with just mayo and pepper, then it sits and gets old looking on the top. You have to keep them stirred up to look fresh. There's one guy that works in the deli - a tall heavy set young black guy. Definitely NOT experienced in "customer service". Doesn't hardly speak, doesn't say "thank you" when he hands you your food. It's as if he doesn't want to be there. Good friendly customer service keeps people coming back. He should be moved to another department.

A great place to get all your groceries. We decided to do our groceries here on our way to home and were amazed at the variety. They got good deals and produce is really fresh. We loved their pre-packaged salad selections. They have lots of options in almost every department be it fruits, vegetables, dairy, packaged foods and even specialty foods. Their staff is really hardworking as they moved the lines quickly and almost everyone had their carts full. They even had a nice pizza place to get some pizza. Options were decent like vegetable pizza, cheese one and other meat options. They had garlic bread too, which I liked. There are 2 seats inside the store to maybe sit and eat. Parking was plenty but it was very busy near the store so parking a little away from the store worked out well for us.

Great store, wonderful item selection and helpful staff. But if I had to criticize anything, the store is haunted. I'm not joking. I have both seen and heard of paranormal happenings inside the store.

Love Winco !! They have it all- butcher, deli, bakery.. everything in one stop!! I no longer have to drive all over town and overpay, they have the best prices too!
