The only reason I give it one star is because I have to admit, I received superb service and it was given by Joyce the African American lady, by luck I had her but she's always busy. I keep asking myself why am I giving this establishment my money if I don't like the sevice and I answered my own question because they're always able to take you quickly but their quality of work is not up to par. You have to continually watch the little ladies to make sure they're not doing a sloppy job. Moving forward I will go elsewhere and take my generous tip with me.

This is going to be the last time I come to this salon. To start off, a few nail spots are beginning to use a self curing acrylic that is extremely painful as it sets and it can leave you with a burning feeling in your fingers for up to 5 minutes.
But onto the real issue. I went in and asked for a full set with cat eye nail polish and almond shaped. I was quoted $55 before we began and I agreed but at the end I was charged $65 and the man tried to tell me it was a $4 charge to pay with card. I have been coming here long enough to know that wasn't true and he quickly changed his tune when I asked him about it. The nails are uneven and longer than I wanted because he said they would get shorter with filing.
Anyway! As much as I have liked this place the quality has dropped significantly and I was constantly asking for Joy only to be told she doesn't work there or she's completely booked out. I also did not like the energy shift when Joy walked in and you could tell they were talking about her and laughing. She deserves so much better.
So the tldr: had a terrible experience was scammed out of at the minimum $10 and they don't hide their racism well.

This is a 0 star review im just like confused. I told her the owner I needed the thumb on my right hand fixed and I had a pinky nail rip off..it hurt. So she finished my service in 25 mind. I know because i am licensed in cosmetology that she skipped many steps..a lot of them being the
sanitation part of the service. She's either to busy or doesn't care. Why should I keep going here done its ghetto for me2nd
Requested style: My nails all looked different, my thumbs. omg... two completely different lengths and shapes. IF YOU WANT GREAT NAILS, Go to Le Nails BY SAVEMART CONTRA LOMA BLVD..ONLY IF You want absolutely gorgeous nails! I'm not being dramatic. I had 19 people in 2 weeks say how nice they looked (LE NAILS). I always had acrylic nails (from ladybug), and I have NEVER got compliments wearing ladybug's work.. it's really not worth the money at ladybug

Used to go there on and off for the past several years but had to stop because sometimes the nail techs do not listen to what you request, and you can tell that sometimes they do not like the African American clientele. They also have a worker there who is African American and on several occasions I have observed them treating her poorly. On my final visit especially, I was quoted $55 for an acrylic set with nail polish and I asked for short almond shape. When I commented that the nails still seemed very long I was told that they would get shorter with filing but they never did and they were crooked because the person kept sitting off to the side and trying to move my hand an awkward angle. Then after all of that I was charged $65 and the person doing my nails tried to say that it was a $4 charge to use the card machine when I know from past visits it's only one extra dollar. The quality is extremely hit or miss and not worth the stress or the price

I will never refer they got older folks working bless their hearts hurting they do best they can but if paying for a service I expect a service and the rush is real they want you out the chair for the next There's a lot of more places to go DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME just saying

I had an appointment today at 1:40 and by 1:50 she was already applying polish to my toes. The pedicure felt rushed, while she did a great job painting my toes when it came to the callus removal she tore my heels apart. A CHEESE GRATER is not and will never be a beauty tool. She shaved my heels so deep that cracks are already forming, and I was in visible pain telling the staff to stop several times. Price is great, but safety and comfort of guests should be priority.

She took so much hair off my eyebrows and she burnt my eyebrows area with the wax I have bumps that hurt now I’ve been here many times and I will NEVER EVER GO BACK! They are irresponsible!

The WORST nail place that I have ever been to. The guy that does nails there is the most unprofessional one in there, and he can't do nails. Lin is the best person that they have. Her pedicures are the bomb. But that still wouldn't keep me going back. Horrible, dirty and the poor customer service.
