I think it’s too overpriced for the quality. It seems like you’re really being charged for the new appliances they installed (big smart tv, lg air conditioner, fridge, etc). I would like to mention that the lady at the front desk was very blunt. Not necessarily rude but she lacked customer service and making us feel welcome. She asked for my name and SHOWED ME THE OTHER NAMES OF THE PEOPLE STAYING THERE??? Never asked for my ID which is a HUGE security issue to me. Most places dont let you check in without seeing your ID to make sure the correct person is checking in. She then slapped the card on the table and said the room number. That was it. Very dismissive. Once we got in the room we noticed the blanket and sheets had stains ALL OVER. I wanted to go tell the front desk but my boyfriend convinced me it was okay and not a big deal. I figured he was right since they didn’t look fresh. It still made me feel extremely grossed out. When my boyfriend went to use the bathroom (first time either of us going in there) he noticed a used towel with a stain that DID look fresh hanging over the shower. We also noticed that when walking around barefoot, our feet were getting dirty. The bed also creaked A LOT. We figured it was broken. It was also very hard and uncomfortable. We paid almost $150 for a night here and it honestly reminded me of a Motel but with “nice” appliances. (Dont even get me started on the tv. The wifi sucked and it’s not cable so it didnt work) bring a laptop for entertainment or something. I honestly did not get the feeling that they cleaned other than putting things away. I don’t think a single chemical was used between us and the last person. The location was nice outside but they should focus on cleaning more often and thoroughly or at least charge less if they’re not going to do that.

The electricity and power went out and they didn’t even offer us a candle or have a generator for back up. It was a very low budget motel. I could tell they didn’t offer clean towels or offer to clean the room or make the bed the whole three days I was there I would not visit again.

Do not stay here! Stay far away. They will shake you down for extra money so beware and don't leave your things unattended.

Basic rooms are very barren and fairly small, however quite clean and the bed was comfortable. Perfect location, and it's pet friendly (for a fee)

It's a bit more dated than some of the other budget inns/motels I've stayed at. My room was on the smaller side but I didn't mind since I wasn't going to be in the room much. It would've been 5 stars but the shower was a bit too tall for me (I'm 5ft) and wasn't able to move it in a way where it would fall down directly onto me (could only move it side to side). The water felt like it was probably hard water for both the shower and sink but it's probably going to be like that for all other places in the area. Also, the shower curtains had the pink mold/mildew on them so they most likely aren't getting cleaned or replaced regularly. Overall pretty good especially if you won't be showering. AC unit was more modern. Wanted to give 4 stars but I feel like it just wasn't clean enough to feel comfortable staying at for more than an overnight stay. Our room also didn't have the ability to open the window but we were able to open the bathroom window and try to make it less stuffy. Staff was friendly and helpful though.

Do not bother reserving a room here. These tiny rooms were remodeled into tinier rooms. Please check the photos. Toilet paper holder fell off prior to us arriving. There was an iron but NO IRONING BOARD. Ceiling fan disabled. Most importantly the Fire/Smoke detector was popped off. We were given 1 key card, read the sign not to lose it because they close the desk at night, no one available. Pay extra, stay somewhere else.

I was looking for a local friendly spot for the night to break up my drive from San Diego to Monterey. This spot looked cute, clean & reasonable. I was surprised that it was really great: super clean & remodeled, no gross carpeting, microwave & refrigerator & heat-AC fully upgraded. I sleep with windows open so there's some highway noise but expected that with the location so i brought earplugs. Very cozy & comfy nights sleep.

We were checked in very quickly the room was small but very cozy and comfortable. Very clean if road noise bothers you then I wouldn’t stay here. Close to the road so lots of traffic. My only suggestion for them would be curtains. The room even with the lights off the room was very well light. So we hung beach towels over the windows so we could sleep.Nearby activities: It’s an entire little beach community right beside an amazing coffee shop.Walkability: There are tons of small shops all around very quaint little beach community lots to do and seeFood & drinks: Coffee shop right beside and they serve food that looked great!

The location of this Inn was delightful. This placed had barley any tourists, it was very peaceful, and it was very close to the ocean side, and only took a few minutes to get to the beach. We loved the small size of the inn, which made it seem more private. As for the room, we loved that there was a separate bedroom for the second bed if you book that type of room. We also appreciated the second sink and the large mirror.

We stayed here because it had great reviews and nice photos. The outside is very cute but our room was falling apart. At first glance it was decorated nicely. As you are in the room you see all of the things that have been left unfinished. The soap bottles were used and not replaced. Also our refrigerator didn't work so we lost some cold snacks we bought for the trip. Light was on but wasn't cold. Front desk employees aren't friendly. The only good thing is the location. There's a fantastic coffee shop right next door!

Attempted multiple times to reach the property regarding my stay on 1/7. My hope was to change the dates of my stay or receive a refund because of the highway closures, due to the flooding. I was unable to get ahold of them until today 1/10. I spoke to Lila and she told me that it does not matter whether it is an “emergency situation” they will not refund or change the dates. She was rude and unapologetic, with no ounce of professionalism. I don’t understand how they are not being flexible when I physically cannot get to the location. They do not care about your safety & therefore, in my mind, cannot be trusted in other matters where safety is concerned. Think twice before booking here.

Fred is very rude. He needs to take customer service training. I can't believe he woks in the hospitality industry.

Wonderful place to stay for any sort of trip, business, vacation, etc. No complaints about the rooms, and, as a plus, the staff is very kind and helpful!
Nearby activities: The beach is a short walk from the inn!
Wi-fi: Access to free Wi-Fi that works great!
