Great location, great amenities. The only downfall was the shower situation. It was HUGE, and we so looked forward to enjoying a nice spray after beach time. Highly disapointed to find the shower head was minimal function and hardly any water pressure. It was hard to get the soap of our bodies and out of our hair. :( Other than that the room was perfect. I would stay again, just might bring my own showerhead!

We really enjoyed Inn at the Pier. We mostly connected with the valet service and they outshined the most. We also appreciated the ladies in the restaurant down in the lobby for breakfast. Great Service and great food to start the day.
It's weird how front desk though we drank one of two $3.00 waters. I just moved them to the top shelf and It wasn’t on a minibar thing. I wonder if they charge everyone $3.00 for water no matter what.
Anyways…. Great hotel and I highly recommend staying here. It is my 60th birthday and we stayed on the top floor suite. We would most likely never stay in the $325 a night room on a normal basis.
Next time we’ll get the fire pit rooms. We’ll be back. Bring your own water.
Walkability: Multiple restaurants that you can walk to for lunch and dinner. We didn’t find breakfast close enough so we had breakfast at the restaurant and the second day we went to Huckleberry’s, which is highly Recommended.
Noteworthy details: The suite room was gorgeous. I definitely wanted to live there forever. You walk into an open concept kitchen with the bar, living room. desk and a dresser under the TV.
On the other side is the gigantic bathroom. lots of room in the closet for two luggage. A big walk in shower, private toilet. And then you walk into the bedroom and that has a dresser with the TV on it. each side of the building has sliders out to the patio.

I recently stayed in a wonder room with an ocean view at the Inn at the Pier, and it was absolutely delightful! The view was breathtaking, with stunning sunsets right outside my window.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making the check-in process smooth and ensuring all my needs were met during my stay. Their local recommendations for dining and activities were spot-on.
The location couldn’t be better—there are so many fantastic restaurants and shops within walking distance. I loved being able to stroll along the beach and explore the area without having to drive.
Overall, I highly recommend the Inn at the Pier for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Pismo Beach!

Good budget but still nice enough hotel for families or those wanting a place by the beach at Pismo. Our room was a standard ok to fair hotel room, and the rates were fair to slightly budget. Worth it for Hilton members to get or use points.
As far as amenities, the “pool” area is just a very small jacuzzi on the rooftop, and the rooftop did not seem that nice, just standard.
Parking is $30/night valet only, so I was disappointed that there is no self-parking option

I booked this hotel for a birthday trip, traveling across the US. I personally called the week prior to the arrival of my trip and allegedly spoke with the General Manager, Angela Rose. I asked the GM for an email address for someone that could assist me with my upcoming reservation. She personally provided me with her email as
[email protected]. I explained the purpose of our trip and inquired to any upgrades I could purchase or available, etc. and got no response. Come time for check in, the other people in our party were offered an upgrade for $20 (which turned out to be a 2 room suite), I was not offered any upgrade options. This hotel does not appear to accommodate special occasions or offer pre planning. The hotel is in a great location, looks appealing and up to date, however the carpets in the hallway NEED a deep cleaning. I would say the best experience of the stay was the Valet attendants. My experience with the GM is the only reason I will think twice about staying here again for any pre-planned special occasions.

We stayed one night this summer. Excellent customer service. Ate at rooftop restaurant. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Pancakes the following morning were best I’ve ever had. Staff appears to truly enjoy their jobs. Highly recommend
