Great time at the Inn at the Cove! The location is perfect to explore Shell beach, Pismo, only 15-20 minutes to San Luis Obispo, and only 30-40 minutes to Paso Robles. It's also easy to explore up and down the PCH. Great base and the property itself is great! Fire pits, comfortable seating all around the hotel, and the views are unmatched. Amazing sunsets, wine hour from 4p-5p with free wine, and the service was impeccable. Clean, nice rooms with space, pool, hot tub, unsure you could ask for anything more especially at this price point. Danielle at the front desk was especially great!

My wife and I spent our anniversary night here. It exceeded our expectations. Fabulous view from our balcony. Comfortable bed. The room was nicely appointed. Staff were very friendly. Very clean grounds that walk down to the ocean with patios. Some have a fire pits. We will return.

Really enjoyed our stay in an ocean view room. Looked at two other hotels first and happy we chose this one. Liked the small pool and hot tub. Enough space but could be a problem at busy times. Really scenic setting but only a few minutes drive to the centre of town. Breakfast could have been better but fairly standard.Rooms: Fairly spacious room and I would recommend an ocean view on the higher floor for more privacy. Small balcony for ocean watching.

Amazing place and breathtaking views. Access to Cove is a big advantage of this place and the swimming pool/spa are both very clean and well maintained.Breakfast is OK for a day, but if you stay more than a day, it's the same stuff repeating everyday :) By day 3 you will be bored!The biggest issue is with the actual rooms themselves.The AC is such a mess in the rooms. The way beds are positioned next to ACs directly hitting in the face is such a horrible design. My wife had very bad sinus attack by morning thanks to the stupid AC :(I complained to the hotel desk on day 1 (for a 3 night stay) and they couldn't help as it's just flawed design and the ac vents are both broken making the direction setting useless.Nearby activities: amazing location and very scenic place. Access to the Cove is awesome!Walkability: Very close to park and other activities.

Daniel is especially helpful at the desk. He is professional, courteous, and is quick to resolve any problems, and offers solutions expediently. He is what makes a "three star" hotel 5-STARS! Shhh! We don't want the prices to go up! This is the Central Coast "gem," with exceptional views, and complementary breakfast. Only draw back, they offer complementary wine for one hour during check-in time, however, it's not usually left out for self-serve, so you have to wait for everyone to check in first and then the complementary wine hour s over. Also the "free" charging station is not user-friendly, nor is it "free."Rooms: Rooms are well stocked with refrigerators and microwaves. They also supply to bottled waters. Only drawback, poor choice of bath, soaps and shampoo, etc. definitely needs an upgrade.Nearby activities: Pismo beach a few miles awaySafety: Very secure, well lit parking. 24 hour lobby.Walkability: Great bike and walk path right out the doorFood & drinks: Pismo and Shell Beach just minutes away. Avila Beach 10 minutes by car.Noteworthy details: I only drawback is bath products need to be upgraded, i.e. dove shampoo and soaps, also wonderful breakfast items are complementary. A huge benefit. Make the complementary Wine hour available despite check-ins. Add hot eggs dishes (not just cold hard boiled eggs) to complementary breakfast buffet. This would definitely make it a five star luxury hotel oceanfront holiday.

Rooms are clean - excellent ocean views. Property has quite a bit going on. Staff were all very nice! Bed was quite uncomfortable, but not nightmarish. Lots of goodness here. We brought our pup and enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful views over the ocean with oceanview room. Rooms were very clean, service was great, served wide array of free breakfast options. Would recommend. Had a very fun trail the goes along the cliffs. Access to water down stairs to the far right side.Rooms: King beds and Two Double Bed Options available for sure.Noteworthy details: Amazing trail that goes along the cliffs next to the ocean.

We just spent 2 lovely days here. The location & views are perfect.Breakfast included as well as wine in the afternoon. Music at 4 on Thursdays, which is mellow and nice to listen to while enjoying the viewThe only improvement that is needed is to clean the floors in the rooms. They were so dirty we had to keep our she’s on, even while going from the bed to the bathroomRooms: See above suggestion

Starting with Sarah who took our original reservation and Danielle with check in when we arrived....the staff was amazing. So nice and respectful. They really made our 3rd Wedding Anniversary memorable.The property was well kept and the rooms were amazingly clean! The view that we had was like a painting of the ocean! The breakfast was BANG!We will be back! 5 Stars for this property!Les B

A peaceful getaway.Pros: Very spacious room and bathroom, very clean rooms, innovative electronics (has chrome cast, camera doorbell, and remote for A/C unit), cute armchair and magazine, easy to communicate with staff for needs especially with their texting service, clean pool area, fire pits area were nicely decorated, great walks outside with view, has an amazing small public beach close by, and great breakfast!Cons: the room had no beach view at all (mostly palm tree view), pool was mildly heated, and a lot of foot traffic heard upstairs.Suggestions: ask during check-in for a second floor/even number room.

We are driving/flying the world for one year #oneplanetoneyear. This is by far one of our favs and was a last minute find as we drive the PCH. Great room, what a view, breakfast included as well as an afternoon wine reception, the occasional acoustic guitar beside the pool, great staff, and incredible attention to details. You can walk to Shell Beach for food, shopping, etc. Great place to ride you bicycle.Walkability: Nearby Shell Beach has all you need.

Views are bomb. Rooms are nice but AC is loud. Pool is great. Breakfast is great!! Full deal waffles eggs etc etc.Food & drinks: Great breakfast. Booze in lobby for Sale

This is my second stay at this hotel. Both times have been wonderful. The rooms have wonderful views, are clean and fairly quiet. The location to beaches and walking paths are fantastic. I felt so comfortable bringing my dog and it was so sweet to arrive to a dog bed and bowl. The staff is so kind and professional as well. I would go back again and recommend to others!

This hotel is perfect If you want to be near the town of pismo, but still be away and enjoy the peace and quiet you need on vacation. Literally only 3 minutes down the road, but gives privacy and wonderful views of the ocean.Very clean rooms, well maintained grounds and friendly staff make it feel nice to relax and enjoy your time.What I really love is the beach right below the resort. With multiple large tidepools and caves to walk by and explore.
