Renovated room looks okay...lots of floor space but not only two chairs to sit. Nice staff, no problems at all with a short notice reservation/check-in. Microwave and mini fridge.

Breakfast was a disappointment for $20 each.
Staff did not tell us that rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis. . Asked for an extra pillow at 11:25pm, it came midnight.
I want my money back!

A decent hotel, far enough from the sea and the center. I was pleasantly surprised by the willingness. We were looking for accommodation for one night and at the last minute, but they were very accommodating. The disadvantage is the poor accessibility of the center and beaches.

Worst service ever by a late night front desk person. Did tell me there would be construction on the 3rd floor when I got off the elevator. No signs or anything, looked like a Stephen King movie at 10 at night! Then sent me down the wrong hallway! The key card didn't work, had to go back up, just held out her hand to take the key to reactivate it and then said " it's the hallway to your right" sarcastically, even though the hallway was to my left is where my room was. I just said, yes, you said that the first time. Otherwise I would have been very unprofessional with her, so I chose to keep walking and mentioned it to the other lady in the morning. Was going to call the manager but haven't yet. Will not stay there again. They should at least warn you as to what you are walking into at that time of night. Especially a woman, alone!

Layout’s a bit confusing at first because the main entrance is on the 4th floor.

We just stayed one night but I can see it's a nice hotel.

Very, very good hotel (despite the current renovation work) without any ifs and buts. There are real dishes and cutlery for breakfast. No extra parking fee.

Good location next to 101 freeway and a few minutes from beaches… they have a few available 2-room suites which was great for us traveling with 3 kids… they’re partially under construction but c’mon you can still vacuum the common areas and stairways that people use… the breakfast was overpriced and underwhelming… worked for our 2 night trip

We stayed two nights at the Hilton Pismo, the hotel was currently in renovation, thus a bit of noise and a lot workers present at night and during breakfast. The room was clean but not as described in the pictures, was missing a little space with sofa and chairs. We also had paid an extra for Bay view and we could not get it. The staff was nice, except maybe at the breakfast, and the breakfast was very poor, it didn’t reflect the standards that we expect for a Hilton. The value for the price paid was clearly not there. Two nights for more than 500$, we would expect a lot more.
Rooms: The rooms are currently in renovation, the style is modern but compared to the pictures, seems to miss a few furnitures.
Nearby activities: Beach is close by, but it’s better to go by car, the Freeway means that you need to walk for around 30mn to join the pismo peer.
Safety: The hotel is in a safe neighborhood, nothing to say about that.
Walkability: Beach is 30mn from the hotel walking, 5mn driving, not many things around except the mall with outlets stores.
Food and drinks: The hotel has a disappointing breakfast, but a pantry is there for small drinks or snacks, We did not check the prices. There is a mini fridge and a microwave in the room you can use to store food.

We've been on the road for a week, staying at Hampton and Garden Inns. This place is in the middle of a remodel, so the lobby was a little torn up, and parking was affected. We didn't bother looking around; we just went to our room and stayed there.
Rooms: Garden Inns have larger rooms. This one had a full bath behind a door, then in front of the bathroom there was a second sink and large counter across from the closet. I like having a clock radio by the bed and all the lighting options there.
Our room was quiet. (The second floor is opposite the freeway.) The view out the window was a stucco wall.
Nearby activities: We drove the short distance into town and walked onto the pier.
Food and drinks: We skipped the VERY expensive breakfast at the hotel.
Noteworthy details: This was the third Hilton property in a row where the "free Wi-Fi" for Hilltop Honors members didn't work. It looked promising for a minute. We logged in and got 5 mbs. But within moments, our download speed dropped to less than 0.5 mps, where it stayed the rest of the night.
I'm detecting a pattern here. Hilton promises a perk for its Honors members but delivers an unusable version. (Of course, you can always pay extra and upgrade to their "premium" version.) Personally, I refuse to do that because I want them to deliver on what they promise.

The hotel is currently a complete construction site!!! The reception was an empty ruin, we were checked in by an unprofessional and chatty receptionist. Next door, there were boxes and building materials everywhere in the corners and niches and in front of the entrance. We were assigned a newly renovated room on the ground floor, where we first found the rolo (privacy screen) when we closed it. An old, sticky hairdryer in the bathroom completed the picture. It was not possible to repair the blind and there was no other empty room. As a gesture of goodwill, we agreed on vouchers for breakfast, which also shocked us the next morning: the breakfast area was also a construction site with a few tables, all covered with black, dirty, sticky construction tarpaulins. The same blankets were still just as sticky on the tables the following day. The breakfast would have cost us - without the voucher - US$ 20.99 per person per day plus tax, an absolute extortion!!! Not a hotel to recommend.

The workers here were really friendly and nice. The room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay here. Probably one of the best sleep i ever have at a hotel because of how comfortable/soft the bed and pillows were. Trust me, you will not want to wake up lol
