The hotel room had stunning views, and the service was fantastic! Despite a minor issue with the fireplace, the staff went above and beyond to resolve it. They even switched our rooms, which was a thoughtful gesture. We truly appreciated their efforts, especially since the fireplace was essential during the breezy weather. The hotel was spotless, and the bed was super comfy.

I would absolutely stay here again. Booked a single king bed room same day. The room didn’t have a view which is fine. At the back of the property which is a short walk from any of the rooms they have a gorgeous view of the coastline. Lots of chairs and tables around to enjoy food and drinks. Also, three fire pits. They have an easy path to follow to the staircase down to the beach. About a 30 minute walk to the pier and town area. Their restaurant Bistro Bluff is only open for breakfast but you can purchase drinks and snacks through the front office until late. I didn’t partake in breakfast to speak on it.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and will not be back again. For the price we paid we expected it to be a lot nicer than it was. The showers are horrible, the hot tub is barely warm, not all of the fire pits work, and it felt a lot like a cheap motel. We were very disappointed with our stay. The amenities need to be improved or the price needs to be decreased substantially.

The rooms had electrical fire place ,are friend who recommended this place said they burned real wood, i guess not anymore kind of a bummer ?. The bathroom was nice, the tv had free hbo channels that was cool since my wife loves to watch movies ??the bed was a little to soft for us , we had really soar necks the whole time we where there, they had a mini fridge, and a ceiling fan to cool the room down, three huge old school windows over looking the ocean. Thats was amazing to me, best view ever, they do have fire pits outside that anyone can use so if u sleep early or sleep in it will be very noisy, some people laugh so loud as if they where at there own home and nobody else existed at the hotel I thought it was very rude and I really wanted to tell somebody to be quiet but I was trying to enjoy the hotel for what I had to offer. pool and jacuzzi in the middle which we did not use because it was way too cold to be outside in a bathing suit the front desk at Starbucks coffee and breakfast nothing was free just stating that it's not free not expecting it to be free. There was many walkways to go down to the ocean most of the hotels at a walkway connecting all of them which was pretty cool, thank you for taking the time to read my short review ?

We loved every second of our stay here and would recommend to anyone thinking of booking, do it! We’d recommend the sea view rooms. They sell smoores in reception, and we sat outside all evening listening to the ocean, it was heavenly! The hotel is well maintained and the staff are all lovely.
Rooms: Sea view rooms are highly recommended

Pictures of the room posted on the website is totally different than what we got. It stinks and felt like a motel. May be the ocean facing rooms were better. But it's not worth the money. Hot tub stopped working and no one fixed it. Also you had to book for room service a day before and have to remind them multiple times to get it done. It's a motel with a premium price.

It was our first time here , Great service ! We wanted to upgrade our room to the ocean view and the guy at the front desk was very helpful and fast ! Amazing customer service! Room was great nice fireplace, cozy rooms and comfortable beds ! We will definitely be back ! Love the starbucks coffee in the rooms ?

Cottage by the sea was the hotel that we picked for our honeymoon. The location is perfect for relaxing and exploring pismo beach. Our room had an ocean view and every view was stunning especially the sunsets. We loved the fireplace in the room. My husband is disabled and the ADA room worked great for him. He had no problems. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be coming back and we recommend to all our friends and family

The please was nice and quiet , the time of the week was tues., wends., thurs. and the value of place always less , but very nice and quiet .
Rooms: Rooms clean and comfortable , looking out ocean view and beaches . Fire pit for ground level out side.
Walkability: Can walk to downtown if ok to walk one mile or so .

Great view (we had ocean front room). Less expensive and NICER room than some other places. Well within walking distance to downtown.
